I like that it has a covered patio, and lots of bar seating, booths and tables. The service here was very good. Laid back but also efficient. I ordered the Spicy Tantanmen bowl and added Kara-age chicken to it because I wanted to try it. First, it's such a beautiful looking bowl of food. It's not too spicy. I would give it a 4 or 5 out of 10 on a spice level. I loved all the flavors and textures here. The broth was spicy, fatty and deliciously savory. There is both a thick piece of pork belly and crumbled pork meat in the bowl along with charred cabbage, mushroom and lots of scallions. I did add the Kara-age chicken because I wanted to try it and an appetizer would've run me $16, but I just added a few pieces for $3.50. It is delicious, fried chicken pieces that add a nice touch to the dish. It doesn't really need it, but I loved it so I do recommend the chicken anyway!
