We had an amazing experience remodeling our kitchen with Bayside Builders Group. Our project manager, Eldar, was fantastic from start to finish. He provided expert guidance on material selection and design choices to ensure top-notch quality. Even after the remodel wrapped up, Eldar went above and beyond to fine-tune a few minor details until we were 100% satisfied. The level of care and customer service was exceptional. We truly love our new kitchen and wouldn't hesitate to trust Eldar and the Bayside Builders team again for any future home projects!

Completely remodeled shower

Nick and the whole crew at Bayside builders were great. Nick took the time to properly diagnose the leak I had and made sure I was very clear about the process and upfront about the costs. My biggest issue with contractors in the past was not showing up when they said they would but this never happened with this group. There was very clear communication which is very important to me. Even better they worked around my irregular schedule and things were done in a very timely manner. They cleaned up well when done and I'm very grateful I chose them and plan to use them in the future.

The bathroom remodel turned out even better than expected, and a lot of that credit goes to Nick, the project manager. From the beginning, he paid attention to every small detail and made sure everything was done exactly how we wanted. The new tub looks beautiful and the glass door they installed gives the whole space a clean, modern feel. The new flooring completely transformed the room, and the sink and lighting brought it all together perfectly. Throughout the process, Nick kept great communication, always checking in and making sure we were happy with each step before moving forward. The crew worked neatly and respectfully, and it was clear they took real pride in their work. Now the bathroom feels brighter, more open, and so much more comfortable to use every day. It's such a nice feeling walking in there and seeing how everything came together just right.

Who would have thought my best remodeling experience would come from a Facebook ad? We discovered a black mold issue in our master bath after returning from a long winter vacation. What started as mold remediation quickly turned into a full bathroom remodel. We tried several contractor recommendations, but either our project was too small or too challenging, and no one seemed particularly interested. Out of desperation (and curiosity), I responded to a Facebook ad offering a free designer. From the first phone call, everything was handled quickly and professionally. But the real standout was our contractor, Jacob. This is a man of his word. If he says he'll call at 1:00, he calls at 1:00. If his crew says they'll be there at 8:00, they're there early. Every subcontractor was equally professional. Whenever something didn't go as expected, Jacob stepped in and made it right. When I had an issue with the glass door installation, he made sure he was there personally the next time. He even asked why I hadn't spoken up sooner. What really stood out was how attentive and thoughtful he was throughout the process. Even when he was traveling, he made sure everything on our end was taken care of. After all the horror stories you hear about remodeling, I honestly can't say enough good things about how easy and smooth this experience was. We went from a stressful mold discovery to a beautiful new bathroom with surprisingly little stress along the way. I would absolutely work with Jacob and his team again. I would highly recommend Bayside Builders Group for any remodel. We were remodeling our kitchen, master bath, and family room prior to relocating back to our house. From the first interaction, Nick and his team were responsive, attentive to the smallest detail, and very communicative. Their estimate was clear and competitive. From the first day of work, Nick and his team provided regular updates. Since we were doing the remodel remotely, he or Mattias periodically did video walkthroughs so we could see the progress. Additionally, the team contacted us with any questions prior to just moving ahead. When we visited the house unannounced to drop off materials, we saw the rooms had been sealed with plastic to prevent dust from getting into other areas of the house which was a small but really appreciated detail. We are very happy with the end result and the quality of the workmanship. You always hear stories of nightmare remodeling situations. This was a pleasure.

Dan was a great with checking up and following up with everything. Throughout the whole project he was very responsive and very knowledgeable. He went over what I did not know and explained everything very clearly so I made sure to know what to do. I went with Paver and it came out amazing! Highly recommend Dan to assist with future projects. Very easy to get ahold of. They accommodated everything I requested as well.

Working with Nick at Bayside Builders Group has been a great experience. Nick made sure he explained the different steps to our project (new siding and painting our entire house) and kept us informed as we moved along. The team doing the work was respectful and very professional. They didn't treat our home like a worksite but instead they treated as a home. I would definitely contact Nick for any future projects. This is what I like to call world-class service.

Bayside Builders Group is phenomenal! They helped me tremendously with our landscaping and yard work, and transformed our yard in not time at all! They were quick and affordable and the customer service was outstanding! Highly recommend!!

Blue wall they painted in pool area. Looks gorgeous! We just love it!

Wouldn't come out to bid unless my husband was here. I'm not sure of the reasoning. Seems a bit odd.

To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to having a mess in my house for that amount of time. But his aesthetic ideas and his professionalism made us decide to hire him. I have to tell you: after seeing how they work and everything they did, I wouldn't trust anyone that says it can be done in a couple weeks. There's just no way!! Just tiling took one week! But you have to see how perfect those tiles are! Not also did they finish the job on schedule, they also cleaned after themselves every single evening. All his crew was here on time every morning, worked quietly and politely and left leaving everything tidy. You know how sometimes you see the contractor you hired the first day and he never shows up again? Not Piotr. He was here checking in almost every day and he was very accessible when I had questions or we needed to go over finishes or details. It's like having a contractor and an interior designer together! We couldn't be happier with the end result. The 5 weeks went very fast and we have peace of mind knowing that the internal parts of our bathroom are as beautiful and well done as the exterior. We've already told Piotr that we'll be hiring him again for the guests bathroom. If you want to beautify your space by doing it right, under codes and timely, Piotr is your guy!

We really couldn't imagine working with another contractor for future projects. His team was respectful, creative and hard working. They appeared to use higher grade building materials than the other projects we see being built around town. They're finished the project within their estimated completion date during even though it was complicated by an extremely wet winter. We had a couple of minor miscommunications but nothing unexpected for a project this size. Piotr responded by making the appropriate fixes and changes.

If…read moreyou've ever had a handy person or contractor do decent work but then you end up swearing for days or weeks because of the huge mess they left behind, your experience with Ace will be a ray of golden sunshine!!! Background: I live in a duplex with shared attic space; it was originally a single family residence with just one attic door. I wanted access to the attic without hassling my neighbors/tenants. Ace not only created a fantastically-functional attic opening, she also took the time and care to make it look beautiful (i.e. like it was part of the original house with decorative trim and multiple coats of paint). But the BEST PART is the care she took to protect my home and and that she left me with no clean-up chores. I've had so much work done on this home and previous homes (small jobs to remodels and major construction). And this is the first time that I've had this experience--of not cursing like a sailor at the dust or grime all over my stuff. Ace did a superb job of containing the dust when she had to drill and cut into the ceiling. I forgot what it's called, but she basically created a tent in the area where she needed to work. There was no drywall dust or sawdust in my storage room or near my laundry area. Bless her!!! She also helped me identify the source of some cracks in my ceiling. They were there before she started her work, so I cropped the photo of my new attic opening. Did I mention that she's nice, easy-going, and that she patiently answered all of my questions? Did I mention that she was very communicative and pro-active in giving me updates on her arrival time, etc.? If you haven't figured it out yet, I was and still am extremely freaking happy with her work and her work ethic. I will definitely be hiring her again.

I appreciated Ace's proactiveness in planning and communication. Her small team is efficient and and reliable, and overall the work done was a great value. I am very happy with my updated living spaces, which make my home feel like a sanctuary! I highly recommend Ace with Kannon Construction and would definitely use her services again.

Everything needed to be torn down and replaced. The wiring was old. The plumbing was leaking. And the flooring needed to be completely replaced. They produced an estimate. And came in on budget. The Great (+2 stars) ==========…read more * The structural work: Our home is on a great, new, solid foundation (with shear walls), so we feel as safe as we can be in our home for an earthquake! * Our basement is also now more usable. * Drainage: There is now drainage around the foundation and under the basement slab, so we are no longer worried about our basement flooding! * The working crew were very friendly and considerate. The Bad (-1 star): ========== * The electrical subcontractor was quite bad. The electricians didn't install the dryer outlet properly (one conductor came loose before I first used it), most outlets they installed are loose (they give when pushing in a plug), and they installed a used, old (not LED compatible) dimmer for the LED lights they installed. Also, the owner yelled at his team a lot. * The plumbing subcontractor was bad, too. They misdrilled several holes, damaging the interior of the home. They didn't seal around exterior penetrations into the house. They didn't put a cover over the branch of a wye that was no longer needed. They wouldn't do anything about the loss of hot water pressure in a bathroom faucet that occurred after they moved some plumbing around (I ended up having to disconnect and disassemble the hot water valve myself and I found a piece of silicone clogged in there). They over-glued the drain of the laundry supply box making it nearly impossible to remove the cap, and they lost the o-rings on my faucet aerator. The Ugly (-2 stars): ========== * They overlooked details in the plans about where walls and doors should go, and denied responsibility since they weren't in the structural engineer's plans, which they opted to not have updated with the revisions I told them about. This lead to a sewer pipe being installed in an inconvenient location (it went through the foundation, so it can't be moved), a structural wall that was almost built in the wrong place (I caught it while they were digging the footing), and a room that was built with no doorway (they had to cut some framing to make the opening). * The pricing/scope was negligent at best, but I'd put it closer to misleading or deceptive. During the initial visits, they talked about all the things they would do (including putting up framing, drywall, and insulation), and then sent over an estimate that I accepted. I didn't realize until halfway through the project that the estimate didn't include many of the things they talked about (including the framing, drywall, and insulation); those apparently would be part of "Phase 2," not included in the price of the first estimate. I had chosen E&F over another estimate that was less expensive even though it did explicitly contain the "additional" scope. I was also surprised that the electrical and plumbing (most of which was necessary to get them out of the way for the structural work) was billed separately; i.e., an unexpected additional expense. * They chose to rebuild a segment of stairs (rather than just adding two steps at the bottom, per the plans), which ended up having insufficient clearance with an overhang halfway down. They tried to convince me there was no new problem because they built them the same as before (but the run of the new stairs was one inch longer, causing the 4th step down to be 4 inches closer to the overhang) and resisted remedying the issue. They just ended up taking a sawzall to trim the overhang -- a joist -- which I just have to hope doesn't compromise any structural integrity! Further, they didn't even finish the stairs (sand and seal); "Test your staining skills," they said. * They ghosted before Phase 2. As the structural work was reaching completion, we were going back and forth on scope for Phase 2. However, when the structural work was actually completed, they just stopped communicating, left dirt and demo debris they left on our driveway for a month, then disappeared. There were lots of things they removed to get out of the way (like several segments of fence) but didn't put back. I could easily add 3x more issues and details, but this review is already too long.

They provided a very fair quote, but we ended up having to put the project on hold. When we were finally ready to revisit it, they were willing to honor the original estimate, which we really appreciated. This is our first home and the first major renovation project we've undertaken, so we were a little apprehensive going into the process. We ultimately decided to expand the project into a full remodel, and even with the additional scope, the updated price remained very reasonable and close to what we had originally expected to spend. Once the project started, everything moved quickly and smoothly through each phase. Communication was timely and responsive, which helped keep the project moving efficiently from start to finish. Tony, the foreman, and his team were extremely detail-oriented and did exceptional work. The craftsmanship really shows in the finished bathroom. Everything looks carefully installed and precise, and the tile work in particular is incredibly clean. My bathroom was very outdated and probably hadn't been updated since the house was constructed in 1960. I met with more than five contractors and from the start, Yovel proved he had experience, a point of view on what would work for us, and an easy going manner. LB's quote was fair and they were upfront about potential change orders or other costs that might come up (not surprising for such an outdated bathroom!). Throughout the project, Yovel kept me updated on progress and sought my opinion when different options were available on how to proceed. In one instance, he came up with a great way to cut the tile so I could avoid paying for a whole extra box. The updates were particularly important for me because I didn't stay at the house during this renovation, because this was my only bathroom.
