Quality of the pizza was average - typical boardwalk/beach pizza, but it hit the spot if you're just looking for decent pizza. - Cheese Fries were overly salty and, unfortunately, the cheese was on the side instead of smothered all over the top. + Menu was simple with 4 types of slices (cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushroom) and extra toppings listed for $4 each. They also sold 5 different 18" pies as well (tomato, cheese, clams, works and white). THE SERVICE ------------------- + No frills, quick ordering through a window. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Outdoor picnic table seating available right next to the pizzeria in an outdoor shed and also some bar seats to the left of the ordering window. - No private parking lot. Parking is strictly on the street. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Was busy EVERYTIME we passed by, irrespective of what time of the day it was. We came by at 12:45 PM on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and there was a consistent short line. At some points, the outdoor seating in the shed got full too and some folks had to wait. = When picking up slices, a gentleman will just yell your name out and slide the heated slices on a long pizza peel over to the pickup window, so be ready when they call you! = Red pepper flake and garlic powder shakers are located by the pickup window. read more

- Popular spot advertising the largest slices in LBI; there were plenty of customers lined up at the outdoor ordering window when we stopped by on the Sunday before Labor Day - Outdoor patio seating is available in the pavilion setup to the right of the ordering window; it was pretty busy during lunch, so you may have to wait for a table; the seating area wasn't the cleanest, but it gets the job done if you want a place to sit and eat - Service was friendly and no-frills--order at the window, then wait nearby for your order to be ready for pickup; whole pies are visibly kept ready behind the window, so the process moves along pretty quickly; unfortunately, they did forget one of our slices, so we had to go back and remind them that part of our order was missing. - Pizza was pretty good overall, though the toppings were a bit skimpy; the hand-cut fries were perfectly cooked, but unfortunately, they were way too salty; I also would've preferred to have the cheese smothered over the fries rather than served in a cup on the side read more

The service was fine, when you order your slice at the window, there's a rack with 15-20 pies getting cold and waiting to be served. The pizza man puts the slice in the oven for about 35 seconds and with his pizza.peel, slides the Pizza onto the counter from his pizza station. All fine and good if the pizza had any taste. Minimal amount of tomato sauce and minimal amount of cheese, so after 35 seconds of reheating cold pizza in the oven and taking the first bite was extremely disappointing. you're eating a piece of cold spongy pizza dough for five bucks. I feel like this place comes and goes with different owners managers and workers. A few years ago this pizza was the bomb big slices cooked a perfection you sit in the little gazebo. Look at the bay. Say how great your vacation is going. This trip 2024, the pizza was crappy. It was dry, lack flavor in the sauce and was just a general letdown. In a state that has the best pizza in the world, Bay Village Pizza finds a way hang with the best pizza parlors in North Jersey. Went to this little walk up pizza shop while visiting some family in LBI and was not disappointed! I only got the fries but they were so crisp, salty, and well-done! Bay Village pizza might easily be one the best za spots in jersey. There's always a line so be prepared. It moves quick and the staff is definitely hard working. They offer fries and pizza. Their fries are magical. I always get the hand cut and it comes with a perfect side of ketchup. They're perfectly fried and seasoned. The pizza? Huge. Delicious. So thin and crispy. I mean it's definitely one of my favorite slices ever. One of my favorite things is that they call out your name for the order and serve you your food through a window on a huge pizza paddle. Only a had slice of pizza here just to check it out and it's just average. Crust had an ok crisp sauce was ok, could not see any oregano, basil or marjoram flakes but they make some spices available on the Togo shelf so I added some oregano and garlic. The place is great for kids and teenagers that lack a discerning palette although at just about 5.00 a slice they might go broke. They have outside covered eating area that looks to be shared. Go here for large slices of pizza. Typically, I'm a big fan of this pizza establishment because they usually offer cheese fries which are great fresh and delish. They sell two things, pizza and fries and they typically do it well so we plan to eat here at least once during our LBI trips. However, after waiting in line for 30 minutes we get to the front to grab a quick bite to eat and they ran out of cheese fries and the wait is 45 minutes for a pie. Two of us were extremely disappointed because there went half our order. We had to run to a show so we just grabbed a couple of slices. My order included peppers and mushrooms but a rando slice of pepperoni snuck on there. I wiped off a dirty table and we ate our fast food and ran. Still can't believe they ran out of 50/% of their menu product so very disappointed in this experience this time around. Even though we come to LBI every year, we had never been to Bay Village Pizza. The day we arrived this year, we were starving so stopped to grab a couple slices. I got the mushroom and all I can say is YUM! I love a good reheated pizza slice that gets a little crispy on the bottom. We had some more later when we went to Ship Bottom Brewery. This is a pizza place with a window to order and pick up. There is an outdoor area which has seating unfortunately it was not maintained and every table was dirty and the floor covered with litter. We ordered 2 plain slices, 1 sausage, and a basket of Fries. The pizza was ok, the fresh cut fries were very good.
