I feel like this place comes and goes with different owners managers and workers. A few years ago this pizza was the bomb big slices cooked a perfection you sit in the little gazebo. Look at the bay. Say how great your vacation is going. This trip 2024, the pizza was crappy. It was dry, lack flavor in the sauce and was just a general letdown. In a state that has the best pizza in the world, Bay Village Pizza finds a way hang with the best pizza parlors in North Jersey. Went to this little walk up pizza shop while visiting some family in LBI and was not disappointed! I only got the fries but they were so crisp, salty, and well-done! Bay Village pizza might easily be one the best za spots in jersey. There's always a line so be prepared. It moves quick and the staff is definitely hard working. They offer fries and pizza. Their fries are magical. I always get the hand cut and it comes with a perfect side of ketchup. They're perfectly fried and seasoned. The pizza? Huge. Delicious. So thin and crispy. I mean it's definitely one of my favorite slices ever. One of my favorite things is that they call out your name for the order and serve you your food through a window on a huge pizza paddle. Only a had slice of pizza here just to check it out and it's just average. Crust had an ok crisp sauce was ok, could not see any oregano, basil or marjoram flakes but they make some spices available on the Togo shelf so I added some oregano and garlic. The place is great for kids and teenagers that lack a discerning palette although at just about 5.00 a slice they might go broke. They have outside covered eating area that looks to be shared. We got takeout from Bay Village yesterday and it was very good. We got one cheese and one pepperoni pizza. It was slightly dried out but it could've been because we had to drive it back to the beach house about 10 minutes away. The cheese mixture and sauce were a great combination. Go here for large slices of pizza. Typically, I'm a big fan of this pizza establishment because they usually offer cheese fries which are great fresh and delish. They sell two things, pizza and fries and they typically do it well so we plan to eat here at least once during our LBI trips. However, after waiting in line for 30 minutes we get to the front to grab a quick bite to eat and they ran out of cheese fries and the wait is 45 minutes for a pie. Two of us were extremely disappointed because there went half our order. We had to run to a show so we just grabbed a couple of slices. My order included peppers and mushrooms but a rando slice of pepperoni snuck on there. I wiped off a dirty table and we ate our fast food and ran. Still can't believe they ran out of 50/% of their menu product so very disappointed in this experience this time around. Even though we come to LBI every year, we had never been to Bay Village Pizza. The day we arrived this year, we were starving so stopped to grab a couple slices. I got the mushroom and all I can say is YUM! I love a good reheated pizza slice that gets a little crispy on the bottom. We had some more later when we went to Ship Bottom Brewery.
