Yeah no. Sorry I love the chegg but this is not a pizzeria. It's Costco style pizza...doughy and undercooked crust. I can't even call this football pizza. I think kids will like it but growing up in NJ this was the kind of pizza you saw when visiting other states outside of the northeast if you know what I mean. After it's cooked, your pizza is cooling off for you on a metal rack when you pick it up so beware it might not be piping hot. 2 pizzas pepperoni and buffalo chicken was $52 including tax and credit card surcharge.

Being on the island during off-season limits the options, so we decided to give Lorenzo's a try. We ordered three slices, each with different topping combinations. Overall, the pizza was good, slices were big. We would've preferred that green peppers and mushrooms not be sautéed prior to being put on the pizza. My husband isn't a huge lover of cheese, and was happy with the amount, meaning it wasn't too cheesy. The crust was average/thin. They have lots of specialty pizzas to choose from. i'm sure they'll do fine once the season starts.

Pizza.

Pizza is excellent. Great late night hours and so local to all of the bars for a slice of pizza at the end of the night!

One of the best buffalo chicken pizzas i've ever had. Tastes just like chegg. Super thin and crispy crust. So good! Must try!

Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? It's all yours anytime of the day. We opted for breakfast (although they…read moreare known for their wings). The young man who was our server was very friendly and helpful. The decor was seaside diner. Ordered at our table...a large western style omelette, fluffy and full of the extras, a French Toast egg sandwich (clean plate club), a plate with a pancake, over easy eggs, home fries and toast, all cooked perfectly. I had the triple decker grilled cheese with bacon and tomato (I think it was called the Happy Waitress), so good, bacon perfect. Recommended!

Stopped in at Chicken & Egg while in LBI with some friends. I ordered the Redneck Benedict, which…read moresounded like a fun twist on a classic, but it ended up being just okay. The flavors were a little bland and the chicken was cut too thick, which made it less enjoyable to eat. The home fries that came with it were also disappointing -- they seemed reheated rather than freshly made, and just didn't have that crisp, flavorful kick you hope for at a breakfast spot. My friends had different dishes, but their reactions were similar -- nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. We all left feeling like the food was a little underwhelming overall. The bathroom was serviceable but not especially clean, and while the service was fine, it wasn't anything that stood out as particularly attentive or warm. On the positive side, the decor was pleasant and gave the place a nice atmosphere. Honestly, that was probably the highlight of the experience for me. If Yelp allowed half-star ratings, I'd give it a 3.5 just for the vibe. All in all, Chicken & Egg isn't a bad place, but it didn't really impress. With so many options around, it's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but I wouldn't call it a total miss either -- more middle of the road.
