Great pizza HORRIBLE service…read more Came this evening and ordered 6 slice and a pie. Everything was ordered together. Slices came out in 5 minutes. The pizza after 20 minutes of waiting asked where it was we told still on the way there were tickets in front. Asked to at a minimum get a slice for our 1 year old and 6 year old and was ignored. Threw tickets in my face showing me other pizza that were put in at 6:27 and ours was at 6:31. I explained how he further proved my point as those came out of the oven 5 minutes earlier. He continued to not care and decide to open the public trash is as customers and how wrong we were. A shameful respect for customers.

One member of our party suffers from severe Celiac disease and it's always a challenge trying to find meals she can enjoy that have the least risk of cross contamination. Many restaurants have limited gluten free options or can only offer suggestions on which menu items can be made gluten free. But they rarely have dedicated cooking and preparation areas nor do they fully understand the disease. Wally's has actual gluten free menus! Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus! Each has a large selection of 'normal' meals that are made with gluten free breads, rolls...everything! Not only are the meals gluten free, but their preparation is so perfect (gluten free items such as breads need special attention to get the best taste, consistency and flavors...they can't be prepared like regular bread items). The gluten free meal was absolutely fantastic! All of our meals were fantastic! Delicious, plated wonderfully and perfectly proportioned. Our server Aydin was exceptional! Pleasant, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His recommendations were perfect. Aydin took wonderful care of our party and made sure each order was perfect...with special attention to the gluten free meal! Aydin was a pleasure and his service was excellent! Nicole is the manager and she came and introduced herself. She is the perfect example of what a manager should be...friendly, engaging and gracious. Nicole showed us the importance Wally's places on providing excellent service and personalized care to each and every customer! Her knowledge of gluten free food preparation is extensive...and very much appreciated! Again...this was our first visit to Wally's and we can't wait to return. Consistently good pies…read more The dough has a wonderful yeasty flavor. This is our go-to place when we want to call for a pie for dinner. They have two locations on the island and the food is consistent at both. Good hot subs also. Also, if you are a weekly renter waiting to get your keys at 2pm on a Saturday, this is a good uncrowded place to wait.

They had Singo Bingo one night, then live music the next. Stayed next door so it was super convenient. Honestly though, I'd come back even if we didn't stay next door. As an NYC resident who enjoys fine dining, I can genuinely say I've never seen ANY fish dish get near $50. More importantly, the waiter got super pushy with us challenging us twice when we decided to grab a bunch of appetizers and a few mains, rather than a main for each of us. After this, he was basically none existent the rest of the meal, which was still over $300 for 4. We had to flag down others to get things like new silverware between courses or dessert. Overall, food is great, so if you want a good meal don't care about mediocre service at best and overpaying, then give it a shot.
