We went to Wally's the other day and had a great breakfast! It was surprisingly busy for the off season, but we were able to be seated right away. We all enjoyed our dishes and they had great portion sizes. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were very fresh. We will be back again soon for more breakfasts in the future!

Wally's is easily one of my favorite breakfast spots on LBI. There is a huge variety on the menu and they always seem to be making updates and additions to keep things current. On top of the food being great, they also have delicious coffee that is serving piping hot every time. The service is friendly and everyone always makes you feel like they are happy to have you there. On top of the breakfast, they also have some great clam chowder! And although I've never had it, their crumb cake looks incredible. They have to go portions available for purchase and I'm always tempted. Overall, Wally's is a solid family friendly spot that I would recommend to everyone.

Came in for a quick Sunday breakfast at 11am, the place was recommended by a local in the area. We were greeted and waited about 10mins, the lovely server got a table in the open patio area. I ordered eggs benedict with cornbeef hash and potatoes. Came with a side of fresh fruit. Right to the point, the place is packed, the use of restrooms, you get on the line and wait. The size of this restaurant, needs more bayhrooms. There should be another restroom in the patio even if its only urinals. Restroom needed a bit of love, but it was ok. We parked right outside with little or no wait. Food came out pretty quick, my wife wanted a blue berry muffin. Apparently they ran out of them, got a corn muffin but it took about 15 mins to get the muffins with her sunny side eggs. Bummer. Having to wait. Overall a pretty good experience, now we know for the next time, friendly staff and good food.

Amazing amazing amazing. Was not expecting such good food, especially during the off season months, but this spot blew us away. The staff was amazing and welcoming and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty and exactly what we were looking for. Perfect spot for any meal and any type of family.

The Gluten-free fruit crêpes are the best! For all who avoid gluten, I highly recommend it here. They have a full gluten-free menu with so many options unlike other places that only have two or three items. Our server was attentive, pleasant, and super nice.

Stopped in for a late breakfast on a Saturday in late September. We were seated right away. They were definitely busy as most tables were full. For being busy it wasn't terribly loud, which I really like. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and my friend had the creamed chopped beef, which she thought was great! They serve coffee from a local company. I like when local businesses support other local businesses. I had a cold brew that was great!! Next time I'm in Long Beach Island I'll be back!!

Good food at this busy spot in Surf City. It's a standalone building on Boulevard. There's outdoor seating out front and also in a central courtyard. 2 indoor dining areas to the left and right of the entrance. Parking is at a premium since the on-street parking accommodates beach-goers in addition to patrons of the restaurants and shops in the area. Reservations are helpful for dinner. Our party of 15 people (!) was accommodated with a flourish - clearly this spot sees plenty of big families on vacation down the shore. Kyle was our server, with the help of a platoon of help. Thanks for a great job - all of the orders were delivered as ordered, simultaneously. No easy feat with that many people. There are a few items on the specially annotated gluten-free menu. One that we tried, the shrimp tacos, is really really good. 3 tacos to a serving. Bed of lettuce, fresh diced Jersey tomato, salsa verde, red onion and shredded cheese with a couple of plump, perfectly sauteed shrimp and topped with a lime crema sauce. Shrimp was delicious, veggies fresh. Yum. Also tried Ahi tuna. A plump fresh tuna steak is sprinkled with sesame seeds and seared, served with spinach mashed potatoes and sauteed veggies. To me, tuna steak is ideal when it's very rare - a sear on the outside and raw on the inside. This entrée was a little overdone for me, with the steak closer to medium. It was tasty, but not as good as it could have been. Maybe 3 out of 5 for this one. A fun place to go while you're at the beach - good food, great service.

One of the classier places to eat in LBI, this was a meal that was delicious and the service matched in pleasantness and friendliness. We hate a lighter lunch and everything came out as ordered and they took special care to feed and give a drink to our daughter first. You may sit either inside or outside depending on availability and umbrellas and canopies will protect you from the sun. Prices were fair for the quality of the food and the beach-flair dining experience.

The cheese steak comes with thick-cut fries, and the crab cake main had coleslaw on the side, which was crisp and served with a light dressing. Looking forward to dining again soon.

We weren't 100% sold because of some of the reviews, but still gave it a shot. We made a 6pm reservation online and were able to park in the lot adjacent to the restaurant. We were seated immediately and the hostess gave us a table by the front window. Nice, out of the way, allowed us to chat and people watch. We were initially shocked at how empty the place was for a 6pm reservation, but by the time we were done the place was packed. Out waitress came over and took our drink order (she never introduced herself, which always kind of annoys me). I ordered the Barrel -aged Manhattan (it came on the rocks though I ordered it up) and Wifey ordered The Maverick - gin, Aperol, lemon, Ginger, mint. For starters we had the Steamers special - in a white wine garlic butter sauce with grilled or charred shallots and Chargrilled oysters with spinach, panko, cheddar, and hot sauce. For our entrees Wifey had the NY strip with seasoned potatoes and I had the Crab cakes. Steak was excellent...the crab cakes were small for the price, but full of meat. Delicious Cole slaw. Appetizers were also great - my steamers were different than I've ever had because the flavor of the shallots really added a ton of flavor. Drink prices are ridiculous (they are everywhere on the island, but especially for the size of the Maverick. Food was great, service was ok (though our waitress wasn't very enthusiastic), you'll pay Island prices here, and place gets VERY loud so be aware.

Ben came straight over and introduced himself and told us some of the specials and allowed some time to peruse the menu. We knew that we had to get the children their food first for us to enjoy our meals and we ordered pasta and flounder for the girls and a cheeseburger and fries for the little boy. It's hard to imagine that a restaurant can be very classy while being at the beach and a very casual atmosphere but people were mixed in their dress with those of us who were more casual, but somewhat dressy and others who got dressed to the nines to enjoy their meal out with friends or family. We decided on the advice of Ben to get some duck confit and also some tang tang shrimp and also Nice chopped salad which was fresh and crisp and also some tacos and then we were off to the races with our entrées. We all decided to choose something different and give a little bite to each of the members of our adult party. While I had seared sea scallops my buddy had salmon. My wife chose a salad with some grilled shrimp And my buddies wife decided to have a plate of muscles that she enjoyed immensely. The staff was fantastic in that they took away dirty plates and replaced them with new ones and made sure that the kids had everything that they needed for us to enjoy a quiet and adult conversational meal. Compared to Long Island, NY the prices were really very fair and the quality of the food was very very good. My scallops were excellent and the other plates that I tried all were cooked perfectly. I want to give a special shout out to Ben, our server, for being very friendly and his demeanor while explaining the menu and offering suggestions. I really do look forward to our next trip back

Whether we were dining with a group of 9, an extended party of 16, or just enjoying a casual dinner at the bar, the service was consistently excellent. The staff handled everything with ease and professionalism - especially impressive given that our groups included anywhere from 3 to 6 children. They made sure the kids' meals came out quickly (a huge plus for us), and their attention to detail was excellent, even with the larger parties. The food was solid and well priced across the board. We tried everything from burgers and sushi to flatbreads, chicken, and the raw bar, and everything was fresh and prepared well. Drinks were also a strong point - reasonably priced, delivered promptly, and followed up on without us ever needing to ask. A nice touch during our visits was the live music - it kept the kids entertained and added to the laid-back, fun atmosphere. Even our evening at the bar stood out - we enjoyed the same great service and were able to take advantage of their happy hour specials. The updates that have been made here have only enhanced what was already a reliable, welcoming spot.
