Mario was by far the most responsive of the 6 quotes I requested for my worry about bark beetles. Most did not respond and he responded 3 days before anyone else. He was ready to schedule for the next business day at a time that worked for me. Communication was easy. He came on time, was very honest with me that he believed my redwoods would be fine in spite of the downed branch with bark beetle holes and chewings I found and patiently walked to different parts of the yard to look at various things. I would reach back out in a heartbeat and they'll be top of my list. read more

Mario was very responsive to the quote request I made here in Yelp. He outbid all other companies so he was the least expensive. When his guys got here, they were very courteous and even helped me move some heavy bags of soil. They trimmed the tree exactly to specification. Cleaned up as if there were never here. It took them about three hours. read more

Prompt and efficient service from skilled technicians at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

We worked with Mario to coordinate tree trimming & removal of another. Communication & schedule were a breeze. They arrived on time and were able to trim 3 trees and remove a failing pine. During the work we realized we forgot to note one to trim and Mario & team made it happen anyways. They cleaned up all debris & made our yard look great! A great service and a competitive price. Highly recommend! Emily & Patrick read more

Within two hours of posting my job on Nextdoor (the day after Christmas), Bay Area Tree Pro had the job done. I had a large broken branch on a big Monterey Cypress dangling precariously over a fence and my neighbor's yard. They rigged the branch so they could bring it down in a controlled manner, so as not to damage anything on the way down, and left the place looking cleaner than when they arrived. The cost was more than fair. I will definitely call them again! read more

Mario was the first to reply to my request. Very friendly and easy to work with. They did a wonderful job removing my mulberry tree. The work was done quickly and professionally. Fee was very reasonable. I will definitely hire Bay Area Tree Pros again! read more

Reached out to Bay Area Tree Pro for another service as the previous one was great. My mother's house had some overgrown citrus trees and oleander. They were reasonably priced as the previous tree removal so why not go with someone you're familiar with. The trees look great and are not obstructing the solar panels and don't look like a mess anymore. Definitely will reach out again if needed. read more

Excellent job done by Mario's crew (Joel, Javier, Noe) who worked tirelessly to cut 3 trees and trimmed a huge pine to look more like a real christmas tree. The crew were efficient and focused on their work and responded positively to my comments on changes. They cleaned up all the debris and left my front yard as clean as if no tree cutting and pruning were even done. I wil gladly refer their services to anyone who need similar work. read more

A tree nearly touching the house had come to the end of its lifespan and its trunk had split. Bay Area Tree Pro took down the poor old tree and hauled away the remains, leaving no trace except the stump. Mario responded quickly, was easy to work with, and electronic payments are accepted. read more

No nonsense. Did a good job. Communication was a little difficult due to language barrier, but it was ok.

Wonderful service. Listened to my wishes for the pruning. No displays of male arrogance!

While chatting with Mario I found out his company offers other services. They do landscaping and fencing. I was in need of someone replacing my front fence and Mario and his crew delivered a great job. The team is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this business. read more

Mario was amazing! He got back to me quickly, communicated often and showed up when he said he would both for the quote and the work itself. Him and his guys were done in a flash and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely hire him again! read more

They arrived on time, They did the job in one day and cleaned up afterwards very well. We Removed a large tree from our front yard and ground down the stump, by the time they were done you couldn't even tell that there had been a tree there. Also I received multiple quotes and his bid was the most reasonable, we will be using this company again. read more

Mario was very accommodating when we contacted the company for an estimate. They guys showed up on time and did an excellent job on our three trees. They cleaned up afterward and left everything in great shape. We would definitely use them again. read more

Mario was very kind and professional on giving us an estimate and connecting on our proposed project.

Fast responses. Quick and easy scheduling. Flexible availability. Arrived early (aka on time) on the day of the job. Took great care to protect so as to not damage our brick retaining wall and the neighbors driveway when felling this huge thick palm tree in between our properties in the front yard. They completely cleaned up all of the debris - and I mean ALL of the debris - that resulted from cutting down the tree and grinding the stump. In the end, I was very satisfied with their work and tipped them $300 over the quoted price. Would 100% definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a tree removed. read more

This will be the fourth time I use Bay Area Tree Pro! They never let me down. We had a lot of yard work to get done at my father's house, he passed away and the yard got out of hand. Like always Bay Area Tree Pro made it possible to see me for a quote on a super short notice. They showed up on time and their work and service is worth every penny they charge. They have all the professional tools needed and their workers are very respectful and pay close attention to detail. I was an awe in how fast just two of them worked to get such a huge job done! I highly recommend them for any yard services you may need! You will be surprised at the services they offer and how great they are! Check out the before and after pictures!! read more

I am so enjoying my view after the services of Bay Area Tree Pro! Mario and his crew were prompt, skilled, and very attentive to my needs. All the crew were professional, friendly, and efficient. They carefully pruned my Live Oak tree for aesthetics, view, and future health. They removed old fronds from the palm, and reduced the size of the neighbor's gingko tree, and pruned my redbud. I can't offer a higher recommendation for tree services. You'll be glad you called them too! read more

i called Mario on the morning after the storm hit. I had concerns of a large tree in the back yard falling and doing damage. He came in sooner than I expected to evaluate the tree and quoted me on the spot. it was very fair and I agreed to the work. His crew came in the next day with a wood chipper and promptly cut the limbs bit by bit and it was a tough task as it was in a corner that had wood fencing. no limbs ever hit the fence on the way down. My neighbor remarked that it was entertaining watching them skillfully work to get the tree down. I highly recommend Bay Area Tree Pros for any tree removal. Excellent work fellas!! read more

Called Bay Area Tree Pro, received an extremely reasonable estimate to have 13 Palm Trees removed in my rear yard. (I received 3 in person estimates). Was given a 2 day job estimate, but was completed within 8 hours. Mario and his workers were very professional, courteous, and efficient! Everything was hauled, swept, blown (including neighbors yard where sawdust flew over) , gutters cleared, and patio cover. All their YELP reviews are 100% accurate. Had this company come and trim the trees in my backyard. Amazing. They did a perfect job and cleaned up. Top rated. Most definitely suggest using them for your arbor needs. read more

We recently purchased a house and we have a huge tree in the front yard that is growing over the power lines. I contacted pge to come cut the branches or trim the tree but they said I was responsible for it and that they would only trim the branch if it grew to the 3rd lines. The 1st line was communication lines and good luck getting any of them to trim the half dead tree. I took it upon myself to get rid of 3 trees on the property. Stumps and all. The plum tree was very close to the house potentially getting very big and causing drain issues with roots and the other 2 old big trees in front and back that were decaying. I called and got estimates from 5 companies. Mario is licensed and had the best pricing for the work and his team worked very efficiently in getting all 3 trees cut, stumped, chipped, and hauled away in a day. They cleaned up everything afterwards and now the house is much brighter without the tree in the backyard, yay! read more

I contacted this business to remove a small-ish street tree that was leaning significantly after last winter's severe wind storms. Probably gave it longer than I should have, because they were able to remove it cleanly without using a grinder. The pricing was competitive, and the wait time for the project was only a few days. While the actual work was professionally done, I was rescheduled at the last minute from an 830 AM start time to between 2-3PM (same day). I was able to manage this change in my schedule, but it suprised me and I wish I had known in advance that they had a schedule conflict. read more

We needed a palm tree w no branches removed and branches from a neighbor's tree to be cut off. Mario was very responsive through the entire process. He offered a very reasonable estimate. Although, the estimate was the same as another company, I chose BayArea Tree Pro because they have over 45 positive reviews vs the other company have only 10. On the day of the appointment, They did run a little behind schedule but Mario communicated with me beforehand so it was not a big problem. They came in three vehicles, a pick up, a wood chipper and one w the thing that lift u up. They were done and cleaned up everything in less than 1 hour. I wish everything was this ez every time I have to deal with a contractor or service company. I will definitely recommend Bay Area Tree Pro and use them again if necessary in the future read more

Honesty I was skeptical because of the competitive quote and I just had a bad experience with having my queen palms pruned. But, Mario and his team were exceptional. On time, fast, really fast. I had a 20-25' queen palm and a shaking Aspen removed and stump grinding. I greeted them showed them the trees, went inside to have breakfast then went back out to see how the work was going and they were done. And left the area cleaner than when they got there. I think the difference was Mario showed up with a legit team of men to get it done fast, clean and efficient. The guys that disappointed me was just two guys one of which was just a young kid who was still learning left from right. read more

Let me start by saying Mario and his crew did an amazing job! I started doing my research and got a couple bids from other companies. Mario gave me a great bid and was available during my desired date/time. It took them about 2-3 hours for the project.
