If you are coming here for the FedEx drop-off, may the saints guide you, because the store certainly won't. There are zero visible signs indicating where to leave your packages. I eventually discovered that "service" here is a theoretical concept rather than a practiced reality. I spent enough time standing around waiting for a human being that I nearly developed a patina to match the floor. Speaking of the floor: it is impressively dirty. For a place that sells cleaning supplies, they seem remarkably hesitant to use them. The aisles are packed with merchandise, yet the store manages to feel abandoned--like a cluttered monument to corporate indifference. If you enjoy scavenger hunts in dusty, unstaffed showrooms, this is your Mecca. If you actually want to ship a package or be acknowledged as a breathing entity, literally anywhere else in the Richmond would be better.

I made multiple attempts for 11 days where it sat outside my front door to have it picked up, and they never picked it up and never returned my money. I had someone come and take it to the dump. Attached are photos of it sitting outside my front door and a photo of the file cabinet when it was in the truck when it was being taken to the dump. You can see the dent on the right side of the file cabinet when it's lying down in the back of the truck.

And in our case, it was well-deserved. Eun Soon greeted us and after letting her know what we were looking for, showed us some really interesting items. She showed us a sleeper from Finland which met all our needs. It was a Luonto Nico King sleeper. It would take a few weeks to get in. Semi, the other half of the store staff, was our contact after this point and she really delivered. After the sleeper was delivered, we noticed there was a 3cm gash in the corner of one of the arms. It matched a gash in the bubble wrap so probably happened in transit. Anyway, the manufacturer was not the most responsive in getting this addressed although they filed a claim with the freight company. After the Christmas holidays, we contacted the manufacturer again who then told us they could not give us information directly and we would have to work with Furniture Innovation. Bummer since it's been weeks since they were notified. We then got in touch with Semi, who promptly put in an order for the arm, which could be replaced instead of swapping the entire sleeper. The replacement part did not match the original so a new part had to be ordered. Instead of us waiting another few weeks for the replacement, FI removed an arm from one of the same sleepers they had in the store and had the repair team come back on the same day and swap out the arm. They knew we already waited weeks for a resolution and worked out something out so we didn't have to wait even longer. We very much appreciated the extra effort on their part to make sure we were taken care of. Also, much kudos to the delivery/repair team who also went above first noticing the part was not an exact match, then came back the same day to do the repair. We would definitely go back to Furniture Innovation for future purchases, which we're already thinking about. Great people to work with.

Downtown San Francisco has blocks and blocks of different businesses. It's hard to find lots of businesses in SF which had its start within the 1800's ( not the address number but the years of the 1800's) in San Francisco. My childhood apartment in San Francisco in the Mission was my backyard and shared the same backyard with the Elixir ( one of oldest bar in San Francisco established in 1858) .When it comes to the years of technology companies which have been in business for over 20 years it seems more like 20 dog years which is the equivalent to 100 human years. There a few businesses which are over 100 years old in San Francisco and fewer that are over 150 years old in human years. There is a family owned business in San Francisco which started over 150 years ago and still exists on Market street and it's called Patrick & Co. Walking down Market street the vibe of downtown San Francisco is a blend of vintage and modern with a mix of the future. Walking past the See's Candies and The Paris Baguette and inside Patrick & Co., you will see lots of office supplies . You will also find many fun items like calendars , cards , journals, stationaries, and interesting books. You will also see anything from Hello Kitty bags to stickers of animated animals and food. This is a good place to pick up some original design greeting cards along with the pens and markers. This place is over 150 years old in San Francisco and the business feels timeless. Although she was the only person working at the counter, she multitasked efficiently and still took the time to help finalize my business card. She remained patient, calm, and professional while assisting four different customers at the same time as I worked on enlarging my font size. The final product looked great. I left the store at 2:00 p.m. and will return after 6:00 p.m. to pick up my order of 250 business cards. The $10 design assistance fee was absolutely worth it, along with the order of 250 business cards. I highly recommend Mee P. to anyone visiting the store for help with their projects.
