Despite this, they showed up with a truck that was not large enough to fit all of our furniture and items. This caused us to have to make a second trip in which we had to leave even more behind than we anticipated. They damaged a few pieces of furniture (including our couch and dining room chairs,) they scratched the floors moving out of our old residence, and they damaged a wall moving into our new residence. Management has failed to adequately address the situation despite promising they would multiple times now. If you are looking to move in the SF Bay Area, I would not suggest using Truket.

I thought l needed to buy a new printer. Once Broadreach was installed, the printer works perfectly. In addition, the Broadreach installation was easy and customer service has been convenient. Also the price of Broadreach can't be beat. I ditched the xfinity internet and TV and replaced it with Broadreach, hulu and a couple other streaming services (more selection than I had with xfinity) and I am saving $100 per month! I am a disabled woman who needed help with packing, moving and unpacking. Unfortunately my apartment wasn't ready and it took a month for me to schedule a move. When the movers get to my place of residence tall skinny guy who runs his mouth like he the owner of Dependable Movers complain about how much stuff I had and the four of them wasn't able to pack and move everything and said I needed more movers. He then calls Frank we agreed that to more movers were needed, because I do have a lot of stuff (a two-bedroom apartment and down sizing to a one bedroom. About 2:30pm I asked the tall skinny guy what time will he be finished packing and loading up the truck? He says by 3:30pm. I said okay. I left to pick up keys to the new apartment. Dependable Movers charged me 30 minutes of overtime that I did NOT agree to. So now my stuffhas to sit in a truck overnight cause its past 8 hours. Frank tells me that I owe $6000 and another $3000 to unpack my belongings. Not realizing that I went over my bank limit I have money to pay however I'm having trouble accessing it. So the next day I get a cashier after speaking with Frank my total is now $8000. Now I feel like I'm getting raped and financially violated. I didn't want to pay the check until the job was completed, however Frank stated we can't unload the truck until we get the check. The tall skinny guy is still complaining about how much stuff I have, so I asked about my smartwatch and phone that I left on the bed. Skinny guy says you're talking about the watch, phone and the two purses, I told you not to leave your things laying around cause they will come up missing. I asked about my bed sheets and blankets that was on my bed we found them to late realize that they also stole my two new weight blankets. I asked when they were going to unpack my stuff and the skinny guy and Frank said I would have to pay more money. I am 5'4 Dependable Movers stack the boxes so high that if i move one box from the bottom all of the boxes will come crashing on top of me. They also left cardboard boxes and plastic in my neighbor's parking space she called the property manager on me. Renewal didn't…read moreactually chase us, but they came after they were recommended by another ambulance chaser, and in the middle of our stress and worry and their assurances that "Don't worry, insurance will pay for everything," they ended up taking clothing that was going to the Salvation Army anyway and rugs that were destroyed by the water damage of the firefighters anyway, and charging us for it all. Our bill was in the tens of thousands, and they wouldn't return anything to us to inspect the damage until after we sent the check. Once we realized there were thousands of dollars there of damaged goods that they should have refunded, we never heard from them again. It's true that insurance did pay for it, but insurance didn't pay for all the damaged area rugs and other things we needed to replace. A lot of the bigger rugs came back smelling vile, of mildew, because our house restoration took more than nine months before we received back the rugs, so I don't have pictures. We threw that stuff out immediately. All in all I would say that this company owes us about $7000 that we'll never see again as, despite my emails and phone calls, we never heard back from them after they got our check and delivered the last of our stuff. If you ever have a fire, think about going to a fabric cleaner you know, first.
