I tried to cancel the order due to this deceptive practice and they refused. Their prices are two or three times higher than everywhere else I found but I ordered from them because they said they were in the US and I knew I would get it quicker. I'm not looking to wait 3 weeks to receive a battery. I would have just ordered it from China at the cheaper price myself had they not been deceptive. Do not order from this company!

Owner just hung up on me. .... I bought (for $4400.00) a golf cart last fall and it never ran…read moreright. I never did take the cart for a test drive..I trusted him...my first mistake! We called and let Mike know right away. He claimed he wanted to make it right but we don't live in the area so it was difficult to return the cart. Over the winter we did let the batteries die which we know is our fault and we would have had to replace them anyway ($950.00). Since replacing the batteries the cart RUNS GREAT! albeit slow. I called him to see if he was willing to do any thing, left several messages and he never called back. So I just called him again after some time went by and spoke to him. I made him uncomfortable enough - never raising my voice or getting angry-to have him hang up on me.Now, I feel like he knew he sold me a cart with bad batteries to begin with the first time I called him to let him know the cart didn't run right from the very beginning...... I acknowledge I made mistakes, the first one was trusting that I was buying a sound product----" let the buyer beware" ( I know I know)....bottom Line I expected he wouldn't reimburse me for anything-but I did expect him to return my phone calls and hear me out without hanging up on me. Sure, go online and I'm sure you can find places to get the same batteries about the same price from a dozen places, so how do you know where to go? You to the place that goes ABOVE & BEYOND what any customer should/would expect to provide A++++ customer service. Remember the days when all locally owned businesses had that "small town/everybody knows your name" type of service and relationship with their customers? It's MORE than that at Battery One. I needed to get replacement batteries for my motorized scooter before I flew out of the country early the next day. The batteries I need aren't normally in stock at battery places so I was relieved to find they had them, but would be closing in an hour. GPS said it was a 45 min drive, so I jumped in the car but it was rush hour so traffic was bad. When I called from the road, they assured me they'd stay open until I got there. I finally arrived right at closing time and bought the batteries. Because I had never put in batteries before, they kindly offered to do it for me even though they were now closed. He got some tools, took out all the screws in the battery case but it wouldn't open. We both looked to see if there was a screw he missed, a secret clasp or some trick that he/we missed but no luck!!! The only thing he thought might work was to drill out the screw holes in front so it would release, however, he didn't have a drill in the store. He said the Home Depot, which was about 10 mins away, would probably do it for me for free and that he'd even wait for me to go there and back since I was in such a bind. I almost wept! By the time I got to Home Depot, got help and came back, another 30 mins had passed. As he patiently changed out the old batteries, we chatted casually and I found out he wasn't the owner but he knew that the owner wouldn't mind him keeping the store open to help. He also said he was supposed to be playing at a softball game right then but he didn't mind being late. Wow. I felt terrible. But SO impressed by his kindness. After he put the batteries in and made sure the cover was back on the best he could, he even waited for me to take a quick ride around on my scooter to make sure everything was working before he helped me load the scooter back into my car. It was an hour and 15 mins after closing, but he gave me a warm friendly smile and wished me a safe drive home. OMG! You'll never get this level of care and service from a box store or Walmart. Like I said, batteries are batteries. But this kind of service is unheard of! Thank you Battery One. THANK YOU!

I was previously informed by 2 other repair shops that I needed a new battery. It is still under warranty, so I returned to Battery One.
