On July 11, 2013, my Dell PC was dead. I had turned it off the night before without showing any…read moreproblem. I worked in the computer servicing business many years ago. I suspected the power supply was the issue. I landed on the only computer service store in Gettysburg, PA: iNet Technology Group 233 Buford Ave Gettysburg, PA 17325 RE: Invoice #1088 7/11/2013 (cost $39.75 for worse-than-nothing)... Their diagnostics was: "The motherboard is dead! The power supply is OK! Your best option is a new PC (we will pay for your hard drive as it can be used as a replacement!)" I took my PC from iNet to Sunrise Computers in nearby Chambersburg, PA. The techies at Sunrise Computers figured out the real problem -- the power supply. As they showed me expected business honesty, I also wanted them to upgrade the RAM of my PC to the max. They certainly did a professional job, as I use my newly fixed PC for this communication. Evidently, it is my duty as a citizen to bring this issue to the attention of government agencies as well. I can only think of families with kids, when children's' computers go bad -- and they need a fix quickly and reliably and honestly... I do NOT believe iNet should be in business... but Sunrise Computers deserves to be in business... Ion Saliu, Honestly At-Large SALIU.COM PS Of course, emailing to iNet is disabled...

Came in and worked with Dave. Apple MacBook with the dreaded key caps falling off issue after a…read morecouple of months. Full AppleCare+ on the device. Made a reservation through Apple. When I arrived they wanted to charge me a $99 diagnostic fee, and told me it would likely cost me $300 for a keyboard replacement as AppleCare doesn't cover keyboard defects. This is even before looking at the issue in depth. Called them out on it, and the person helping me was a little too "grippy" with my device after I asked for it back. Got the device back into my hands navigating the awkward not letting go of my device, and called Apple immediately after. From some other reviews looks like they overcharge for covered warranty work, in hopes of getting a lien on peoples devices and selling it. Whatever their shady motivations Watch Out! Apple said absolutely covered under warranty and AppleCare+ accidental (if not a warranty repair) and would be $99 if it was damaged caused by me regardless of extent of damages. This place is a bunch of scammers, came here to support a local business instead of going to the mall Apple Store. I can only imagine what they do to older and less informed people. **UPDATE**: As expected, Apple shipped me out a box next day, shipped device in, and it came back next day. Keyboard fixed, no cost.

I didn't know what to expect from some calls she had made to other places before finding Scott & Co~ They treated her many questions with kind consideration answering them all and took the time to explain things about the pieces that we were not aware of. All the staff that we happened to see were genuinely kind to us and it wasn't that we were "rich" or looked so as we aren't and didn't it's just how they treat people. They are HONEST, fair and knowledgeable and that's what you want in a jewelry store. We will gladly be back for anything our families need in the future and we 100 % recommend them with all confidence to you!

My husband and I moved to the area not long ago. We've been looking for a jewelry store to have…read morethe same type of relationship that we had with the local jewelry store where we used to live. Scott & Co was hosting an open house gathering that gave us the chance to go in and meet the staff and see the shop. My husband collects gems and would take them to the other shop to have them set. This could result in a couple hundred dollars after the setting and service. We like when all repairs are done in house (which Scott's also does). Brock was super helpful and tried to go above to help us. The prices to have 2 items repaired was very reasonable. We were not however impressed at all with their gemologist. She was very stand offish, and unwilling to see the relationship that we were trying to build with the company as a whole. The other store we used, he could go in and the gemologist was willing to look at the stone(s) and quickly check them to advise if they were worth putting into a setting or not. She was able to give a ballpark on value before setting. Nothing was in writing or official but it gave us data needed to proceed or not. This relationship gave the store the business of setting our stones and then if needed, we'd pay for the official appraisal. This relationship lasted over 10+ years. What really was irritating was the receipt stated $45 for the appraisal, mapping, etc. this gemologist said that the price didn't include the appraisal because that's $100. The $45 only included mapping. First, it seems they need to amend their invoices to properly show the service because when I see appraisal, mapping the comma indicates it's both. He tried to explain the relationship we had with this other jewelry store and she wanted no part of it. They have the right to conduct business how they want. I get that, but she came across as "I won't do this" or "I won't do that". She never consulted with a manager or the owner to see if this could be something as a company they would do. I'm not so much faulting the decision as much as how snooty she was about it.
