My car battery died at the most inconvenient time at 1am in the morning. So this morning I got my car jumped and went to Battery Bill to replace my battery. From start to finish of figuring out what battery I need, filling out paperwork, and getting it to replaced was less than half an hour! I don't know their names but the lady who answered her phone, the guy who filled out my paperwork, and the other guy who changed out my battery were amazomg. Excellent service and very friendly staff! 10/10 would recommend to everyone. Thank you!!!! read more

Service is not great! Dont even try waste your money on this shop. Battery is POS workers are POS too!

I purchased a NorthStar battery from them 3 years ago. The "best" battery died and I had to go back. The salesman couldn't believe my battery died and wouldn't hold a charge. But after the test it showed that the battery was dead and they fully warranted it and gave me a new battery. Sears would have minus the years I used the battery. read more

I needed to replace the battery on my generator before Hurricane Douglas approaches Oahu. Went to a couple places with no luck. Thankfully Battery Bill not only had the battery I needed, but the worker who helped me gave me step by step instructions on how to attached the terminals so the battery would work at max capacity. Never disappointed with Battery Bill. read more

Fast awesome service and will install battery while you wait also. Would highly recommend this place for battery needs.

Did two battery changes with them for both of my cars and they were very helpful. You're able to return the core for the $10 discount and made things easy as long as you had a mask. read more

Called this business on two occasions to see of they have a particular battery. Phone just keeps ringing. Terrible customer service. Why even have a phone number. read more

Great and awesome service! Needed to get my battery changed and they were able to do it right away. May not be like that for everyone, but they do provide sincere and great service. read more

They have everything I've need in stock, easy parking, and very helpful. I will return!

Great place to find hard to get battery. My laptop is over 6 years old can't find the battery in the store. But here it is they got them. Staff is super helpful, our power wheelchair battery not that old, seemed strong but did not test good. They had it in stock and the price was good even when checked online stores. They got lots of solar chargers and excellent deep cycle lithium. My place to go to find emergency supplys for power my tech stuff. read more

Great service and employees. I came in for a replacement battery for my 2005 BMW 3 series. I purchased my last battery through them and wasn't expecting it to be under warranty because it had been over 4 years and it was a 4 year battery. The person helping me insisted on searching their system and found there was an extended prorated warranty to 7 years, so I got a 40% break on my new battery. Their prices are also very competitive. read more

Great service! Knowledgeable about my car and manufacture and yes it did make a difference in my discussion on which grade battery I purchased. They were quick in changing the battery and they did it without losing any of my settings! read more

My experience was great, the customer service was great. They took my old batteries, and suggested new batteries for me to use. They even were able to make new connections for my wires for my new batteries. Thank you read more

My boy needed a new battery and one of the connectors replaced on his truck. He was a first time customer. They did an awesome job of being available, having what was needed, being knowledgeable on installation, and not trying to upsell the unnecessary. Very reasonable pricing. Excellent service. This is a first rate shop. read more

I had walked in there with the intention of getting something rather expensive. The salesman there was extremely helpful and actually guided me to something that was substantially less in price that would work much better for my intended use. I thought the selection was really good. Prices were fair. And the service was fantastic! read more

This was my first time going here. Went to see if they had a replacement battery for my GoPro Hero3 since the original OEM battery got swollen and could no longer be used. Thankfully they had it in stock and the sales clerk assured me that it would work even though the model number differed from the original, and if it didn't, then it could be returned. Happy with the service and prices and Battery Bill's will be my first local "go to" shop when I need a battery for anything! read more

After ignoring the "low key battery" notifications for a bit too long, I found myself in urgent need of a new battery yesterday or I didn't think I'd be able to unlock my car again. A quick Yelp search brought me here and I was literally in and out the door of the store in less than five minutes. Literally walked in, told them what I needed, had them change the battery for me (which is good since I can't for the life of me open the thing myself), paid and went on my merry way. Best part of all? One battery cost less than any where I've purchased before. Super happy with the customer service, pricing and location. I'm sure to be back next time I procrastinate to the point of almost needing to break the glass to get into my car :) read more

Perfect! Had a house alarm battery that died and needed a new one. Looked online and they wanted almost $100. Amazon wanted $40 for the replacement. Went to BB and they didn't have it, but said they could build one. Thru called me a couple of days later with one that they built and it fits and works great. It was cheaper than Amazon and anywhere else i looked read more

My Prius 12v auxiliary battery died with no warning. There's no Sears in town anymore, Costco and Sam's didn't carry my battery. Then I remembered Battery Bill and that catchy jingle with Mel Cabang. Long story short, battery installed before I returned from walking down to Liliha Bakery. Was less than 15 minutes! And I just searched on the web and Battery Bill's price was 99 cents less, assuming the company would ship to Hawaii, which they don't. I'll be back when I have a battery problem. Battery Bill is totally awesome!! Added: No appointment needed to install battery but they stop installing at 4:00pm. read more

I needed a dyson battery but wasnt in stock. Clerk was very helpful. Took down my contact info and they got it in within 2 weeks. Awesome!!!

Because a dead battery always happens at the wrong time, amirite? I was lucky to be in this neighborhood when my battery died. Someone gave me a jump and I decided to come here based on some recent Yelp reviews. They didn't have the battery I wanted in stock, but they gave me a discount on the more expensive one. It wasn't the same price, but they saved me $20, which was nice of them. (I think they could tell I'm poor.) The service was quick, easy and professional. I have a 6 year warranty so hopefully I won't be needing these services again anytime soon but I would definitely recommend them and would come back for a battery replacement anytime. read more

Whenever my car battery starts coughing and wheezing during startup, I try to get it replaced right away. In the past I 'd gone to Sears Ala Moana for convenience, but since they no longer exist, I had to find another vendor. After doing a quick search, Battery Bill 's came up as recommended place, so I gave them a try. I'm so glad I did. I called ahead and they were able to confirm immediately they had my car battery. I walked in during lunchtime and was in and out of the shop with a new battery installed in 10 minutes! They charged $10 for the labor and double-checked to see if my alternator was still good. They also warranty their car batteries for a year. Cheap, fast, and good! Rare you ever find all three. I'll be back to check out their other batteries too. read more

I came to Battery Bill's a while back for my battery for my Pride Jazzy Zero-turn battery no longer charging. They fixed it with new ones (original ones were on their last breath, lol). This time my charger for my Triaxe Sport scooter stop charging? They fixed it too! (ware and tare). Definitely recommend them for any battery isses! Thanks again Battery Bill's! read more

Been battery shopping for a few weeks, 1. Since my battery terminals kept corroding ( sign of battery leakage ), 2. Battery was a few years old, 3. Lazy start ( may be due to corrosion, but i never personally load tested the batt ). A few places i looked into had not so well known brands, some had Interstate ( which i lost faith in from them having problems years ago), i decided to stop and see what Battery Bills had to offer, they had Interstate and their own rebrand which the sales person was very knowledgeable on ( not just specs, but even what brand of battery it is). A big plus in my book, honesty and knowledge!! When i went in i told them "i think i need to replace my battery", the young man told me what size i need and showed me how much are their batteries, i decided on trying the Battery Bills battery, for the price with installation and disposal, it was comparable to me just picking up a battery. Replacement was quick less than 10 minutes, battery and radio settings was not reset ( another plus). Now the reason for the 4 stars, not to grumble (i've been an auto mechanic for over 25 years) but public awareness. When i pulled my truck up i offered them the keys - they denied it, they replaced the battery, clean and sprayed teminals, all good, but i think they did not load test the battery, and i know they did not check the charging system - because i had the keys at all times. I know all is good due to my automotive background, but imagine if it was someone else, unaware, maybe their charge/alternator indicator bulb in the dash burnt out........ Just my 2 cents, not to bash, just public awareness or constructive criticism for the business. read more

Time to revise my review way downwards. Last March the interstate battery failed; since it still had 2 years of (prorated) warranty left, my wife brought the car back to BB. First, they hassled her over whether she counts as the purchaser for the sake of the warranty (she had all the paperwork, has the same address as I do of course, is the nominal owner of the car, etc.). Second, they didn't have an Interstate that fit; she had to get one of the Battery Bill "Charge" no-brand batteries, for which they just gave her a couple of dollars off for the warranty. *That* terrible battery failed spectacularly this week, after only 7 months. I tried to call to see what my options were, but they didn't answer the phone. Finally, I gave up on BB and bought a good US-made battery from the local NAPA shop for only slightly more than the BB price. They even installed it for me. read more

I've been going to Battery Bills for what seems like all my life. Every few years when I buy a new car, the stock battery lasts 3-4 years. When it craps out, I go to Battery Bills and buy a new Optima battery. That Optima will last the life of the car. Battery Bills always has the right size in stock. I'm in and out with my new battery installed in less than 30 minutes. Why only 4 stars? Their prices are not cheap but they are fair and competitive. If you are the kind of person who shops around to find the very lowest price, do not go to Battery Bills. If you are looking for excellent service at a competitive price, i recommend Battery Bills. read more

Love this place for affordable batteries and always great service. One of the last little local shops with knowledgeable and friendly staff as well as great bargains on batteries. They also have hard to find batteries at deeply discounted prices. They go out of their way to find you what you need and do it with a smile and great customer appreciation. Nice that they have another convenient location! read more

Battery Bill's - Battery Stores Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Batteries Plus Bulbs is closer to my home, but service was lacking. I came to Battery Bill and my experience was significantly better! Customer Service was awesome. Prices are also a lot better. I definitely will come here from now on! My only wish is longer hours, even by a half an hour longer on week days would help because my work day ends at 4:30 and I can't make it to either location in time. This only leads me weekends to go down unless I take time off of work. read more

Mahalo to Rocky for replacing my truck battery! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I might have spent a little more here than if I went to Sears, but I'm certain that I'd have a lot longer wait and not much to say about customer service. This was my second auto battery purchase here, and I will return. read more

I like these guys. My problem - dead battery - was temporarily resolved with least cost $35 used battery with one month warranty so that I could drive away and decide on where to buy new battery. My quandary as I drove up to store and before I knew that subsequent start not possible: new battery or car jump starter. Assistant thankfully tested battery cells and determined that 2 were defective. It was the reason that a subsequent start while at the store was not possible, I bought used battery -- $35, not bad. I still wanted to know about car jump starters. I commend the manger who was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful on telling me that my best bet -- NOCO B40 then not in stock as opposed to another jump starter in store -- was not slated for delivery for 6 days because the ship would not arrive for another 4 or so days. Because of my desire to purchase the NOCO (notwithstanding my other battery needs), he put me on "priority call" list. read more

I walked in to Battery Bill's this morning (love that the are open on Sunday) for a new car battery. I had phoned earlier asking if the battery I need was in stock, and was told YES. When I arrived, the battery was sitting out and brought to me within seconds. The staff provided very fast service, were polite, and explained to me the warranty that accompanies the new battery (1 year full warranty and pro-rated warranty throughout the remainder of the 6 year warranty). If you want them to install the battery for you, it's only a $10 charge (I walked out with mine and installed it when I got home, but if you're in need of someone to install it, it seems like a fair deal. Hey, Bill, recommendation: batteries are quick and easy to install, why not make installation a complementary service for those who want/need it?) All in all, I was in and out within a matter of minutes with my new battery. I feel that Bill's prices are good, and my battery was FRESH (May 2015). I'll definitely come back here in the future. read more

Battery Bill's in #1 in my book. They were honest, quick, knowledgeable and friendly. I wanted my battery terminal changed and got an expensive quote from a service station in Aina Haina, in addition the station said they had tested my battery and it needed to be changed $200+ and when I didn't want that they were going to charge me $75 to replace terminal. At battery Bill's they tested my battery, told me it was still strong and then changed my corroded terminal in minimal time. They are the Best! Convenient location too! read more

My car has a keyless entry/ignition fob that needed the battery replaced. Of course it's recommend to take it back to the dealer but its a 3 day weekend and no one was open. A friend said to call Battery Bills because they sell and can replace the battery for you. Of course they do have a disclaimer in case of damage, no different than replacing a watch battery but i didnt need to worry. Cyrus was so delicate and careful opening the case and showing me how to do it because i wanted to replace my other fob at home. It was the best $2 I've ever spent! They even tested the battery they pulled out which was definitely below recommended. Wonderful customer service on such an insignificant purchase. I am telling everyone to come here for their battery needs! read more
