Incredible customer service. I came here years ago to replace a Macbook's bulging battery, which was replaced same day. I came back for an issue in Feb 2020 with my Royal Enfield Classic 500's battery problems. They checked the battery, and recommended a replacement. Cyrus helped me check on the manufacturer's website for warranty coverage to find a lithium battery that's both better and under warranty. I came back two days ago because I left my motorcycle on by accident, draining the battery, left it at the shop to charge, and picked it up the next day, all free of charge. To top it off, I paid on $59 for my motorcycle battery. Cycle city quoted me over $180 for the same motorcycle battery. Commercial is great for drawing you to their business. Except when you get there, they do not have the battery in stock and have to order from the Mainland. Also you must know a little about electronics because the battery terminals are not in the same location and you have to modify your device's wiring which not everyone can do. Once I took my automotive battery charger to them and they were bragging how they can change the battery for an additional $20.00. Then they said they cannot do it today and to make an appointment to have it changed. I made an appointment to purchase the battery and have them replace it. I went down to Mapunapuna from Kaneohe and then they said we do not have enough staff. I left, went home, ordered a battery online that was an exact fit, and was cheaper than the battery they were trying to sell me. Save your time and money and just order online from the beginning to save you the frustration dealing with this company. The battery comes to your door saving you $10.00 you would have had to spend on gas. Online battery was $20.00 cheaper and comes direct to your home. If you have to change the terminals, then you must have enough knowledge to unscrew the back and change the battery yourself. It is amazing how this business stays afloat. Doesn't meet supply and demand, and cannot do what they say they can. I see them disappearing in the future like Sharper Image, Sears, As Seen on TV. You try and buy local and support small business but why buy from them if they have to order online only to mark it up 20% + to sell it to you. The mark up is for having the battery on hand on a shelf and factoring how long it took before the battery was sold. Most people want instant gratification. A overpriced $24.00 battery that takes up less than 30 square inches of shelf space that online cost $16.95 and shipped directly to your home saving you $10.00 in gas money. While having my car serviced at Servco Toyata at Mapunapuna, I was informed that my battery's charge was only at 25%. They offered to change it for about $220. I decided to go to Battery Bill's. It's just a block away, next to Wholesale Unlimited. Got a new battery for about $125. $30 of that was to have the mechanic replace the battery. Every one there from the lady at the service counter to the mechanic and his assistant was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Battery Bill's. read more

Normally when we have car problems we bring it to Cutter Ford where it was purchased. The last time we brought the car in for service we were told the Battery was weak and that it wasn't taking a charge but we were quoted something like $280 to fix it. While I'm not well versed in the costs of maintaining a car even to me that seemed well over the top so we decided not to get it done then. Fast forward to last night and there's crud on one of the connectors so we decided it's time to change the battery. I check on Yelp and at the top of the list for car battery replacements is Battery Bills and as I learned, for good reason. I gave them a call and they quickly quoted me a price, $100 for a new battery which included installation and disposal of the old battery. On top of which they offered an extended Warranty for the battery good for 5 years for just another $20. I went on my lunch break today and they got it done in like 30 minutes, that may seem like a while but the mechanic needed to clean off the corrosion from the contacts so it took a little longer. Still though, the final bill was around $125 for the new battery, installation, and disposal of the old battery. Less than half of what we were quoted at cutter ford. Great service, good prices. Cannot go wrong with Battery Bill's. read more

Best service-- the technician was very thorough and explained everything he was doing which I find rare at any car service type place. He answered my questions and didn't try to push/sell the more expensive options. Wait time-- faster than getting your food at sit down restaurants-- seriously. Purchased a battery for my car two years ago and went to get it checked a few days ago and they told me that the battery has a low charge. I'm wondering how can my battery be low charge when I never play music with the engine off so that's weird. This also makes me wonder if they're selling faulty or recycled batteries. They gave me some kind of warranty that gives me 45% off a new battery but I still ended up paying over $100. Ohhhhh how I wish I could give a 0 rating for customer service!!! After calling to make sure that they had the size battery I needed for my alarm system, I drove to Iwilei from Kailua. I requested the battery, Jay brought it out and before he completed the transaction, I showed him a picture of the battery to confirm that it was the correct size and voltage. He glanced at the picture and said "Yea, I think so". I'm not an expert, I don't work in the battery business, heck this was the first time I had to change it myself so I trusted his reply. I've known of Battery Bill's for many years now but never bought anything from their stores. This weekend was rare where two of my car batteries went bad. Having one of my car batteries go bad on a sunday gave me some time to do some research and found that Battery Bill's carried the one that I needed for my car. I've been doing the big box thing at Costco and Sams for years and picked up and changed my own batteries. I decided to drive my car in since I know Battery Bill's had a installation service. Upon my arrival, I drove right up to the service bay and the two techs asked me what I needed and got started right away. I was done with new battery installed, charging system checked, paid and completed in less than 30 minutes! The techs were very helpful and professional. Buyer Beware: Their return policy is not outlined on the receipt and different service people will tell you different things. Also, you will likely get a generic battery for the same price as the brand battery that you are seeking a replacement for. I purchased a $100 battery, was told it had a 30-day return and 90-day warranty. I should have asked for more details but I assumed it would be on my paperwork. I also incorrectly assumed I was getting a Dyson or comparable-quality battery. The battery was a cheap knock-off and does not hold a charge. Because of Covid and not being able to reach someone by phone, I tried to return the battery once I could verify they were open. At this point, I was told that the return policy was actually 7-days and either way, returning was not an option, only a replacement. Unfortunate for me that their business does not have allowances for Covid, and that I was given incorrect sale information. So I have a replacement battery that I will try but I will never use Battery Bills again with a 7-day return policy. A company that is supplying a quality product, wouldn't need to have such strict turn around times and contracts of sales would be printed on their receipts. read more

I came in to look for a power cord on my day off for a power brick and the associate behind the counter didn't even bother to look at it, he just straight up said in a sarcastic way "We don't sell that.!" which is ok if you actually took at the power block and confirmed that you actually don't sell it. Another younger associate was going to help me by trying to tell his coworker that all I need is the cord to go into the power brick, but the older associate again just said "Yeah I know, but we don't sell it.!" this guy has no customer service skills at all.! He didn't bother to look at my block or even look at any catalogs to see if he could even order the part I needed.! I'm sure it's not a uncommon cord. And even if it is, maybe if he put in the effort to try and take a look at it and do some research then at least I know I can walk away knowing that battery bills did what they can to service me. Now I can't and definitely won't recommend my customers to battery bills at all. I work in the automotive field and a lot of times if I dont have a batter for a certain application I would try to do a outside buy to service my customer, I've purchased a few batteries in the past from battery bills for my walk in and commercial customers. But won't be doing so anymore, I'll just buy from other vendors like interstate and batteries and bulbs. Thanks for nothing battery bills.! They are a wealth of knowledge too. Helped me with my Honda FOB and saved me money even from the best online price. Helped me with a spare laptop battery that no one would send from the mainland. I have previously reviewed Battery Bill's but wanted to add a new experience. This is a STERLING company that it makes doing business a pleasure. 18 months ago my boyfriend and I bought these great little batteries that are supposed to charge your cell phone and can also jump start your battery. We bragged about them to everyone and starting buying them as gifts although they cost about $100 or $120 each. I only used mine a handful of times but it stopped working and was visibly swollen or bent in the middle. My boyfriend checked his and it was also bulged in the middle. So we took them back to Battery Bill's and told them what happened. We did not even have our receipts on us but they looked up our records by last name and immediately replaced them with a different brand of a comparable battery without any hassle or wait. We walked out confident that we will be safe on the road. For $200 they have gained two CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE! I worked with a different company in another field recently who seemed absolutely determined to recoup a few hundred bucks off a job where there was what we will call a misunderstanding. Although they were in the wrong, they would just NOT let it go. They lost $1,000 a month for future decades over less than $700 in imaginary labor costs.
