After having a horrible experience at my local Verizon store, another Verizon customer stopped me as I was walking out to my car. She had overheard the transaction inside the store and suggested I tried Batteries Plus Bulbs to see if I can get a replacement battery for my current phone. I took her advice and headed over to the nearest Batteries Plus Bulbs. The two gentlemen inside the store checked their computers to see if they were able to replace the battery for my particular phone. Unfortunately, they were not able to order a replacement battery for my phone they only had accessories available. However, they did suggest I try another local place that works on all types of phones called Fixoid. That will be my next stop. Overall, I really appreciated the friendly and welcoming service and options they gave me, which left me feeling hopeful :-) read more

Worst experience I have ever had with a return the guy James and the manager Jeremy shouldn't do customer service I brought my battery in that still has 8 months left in warranty to swap out because it wasn't holding a charge anymore James stated they don't carry these anymore in stock and they wouldn't Be able get them And was super irritated about the lithium battery stating no of the places in the northwest like to deal with them cause they have had so many come back! When I called the next morning the manager Jeremy was super rude over the phone and told me the same thing my battery didn't hold a charge and they couldn't do nothing for my because they don't carry the battery anymore witch is a lie because the one on 82nd Street in Portland was able to order me one with no issue. As I was walking out I let Jeremy know about James terrible customer service instead of trying to talk to me he just recorded me I have attached a picture of both of there cars if you see either one don't go there they'll just give you the run around try the 82nd location they actually help you! read more

To whatever corporate powers that may be that check yelp... What the fuck is wrong with you? How can you miss the mark so bad? Your company is Batteries, + bulbs... Batteries, plus lights. How do you not have ANY battery powered colored or string lights? Fred Meyers has em... Home Depot has em. Lowes has em. The place that specializes in Batteries and bulbs? Nah. They got dog toys though... and ballasts even. But battery powered lighting? Almost no inventory past a flashlight. Consider this my application for CEO of this short sighted company. read more

My husband wanted a new battery for his iPhone 6. They would not sell him a battery insisting they needed to replace the battery in-house themselves. $100. Husband was capable, he's an elec engineer. The replacement failed, phone stayed on silent mode. Back it went. Each trip for us is 150 miles round trip. Today, now the flash and flashlight do not work. Back it goes. We should have taken them to small claims court. A third trip is necessary, hoping the damn phone will function. Terrible way to treat a customer. read more

I will not buy from them again. Battery purchased for my key fob died within 6 months. Paid $16, whereas my Energizer battery purchase for $5. is still working fine after 2 years. Not worth buying from them. Must be old batteries. Customer service was non existent. Said the battery is only good for 6 months. read more

E side of NE Highway 99 slightly N of NE 88th St. This is definitely a place one should consider for all battery, charger, or bulb needs. They have a huge selection and a very nice staff. If they don't have what you need then there is a pretty good chance they could have it in store fairly quickly. I've been here a couple of times for various needs. They have lots of parking available here in this Strip Mall lot. read more

Do not get your screen replaced here it is incredibly overpriced it shouldn't be almost $200 to get my front screen replaced. And they aren't transparent at all I said I wanted both the back and the front fixed they just did the front and it was $189 that's atrocious. read more

Order battery for Ipad Pro. They called me when arrived, told me it could take up to 72 hrs. OK. I brought my pad down: First I tell him who I am. He says are you sure you have the right store? Second he walks away with my pad, goes in back snd comes out with pad and new battery. Tells me it will be shipped somewhere else. ???? Third he says- your pad is bent ???? We can still do it but no warranty. I left. The pad sits completely flat on both sides. How do you bend a pad when It went from box to cover immediately. Frank, my pad is not bent. How would that even happen? What's the deal with not knowing you even ordered the battery. Then it went from 72 hrs to not sure how long it would take and no warranty. read more

Spoke to a manager, Troy, and he clearly couldn't give a s*it, which is a good sign of how they would respond to any post-repair problems. I won't roll the dice on an expensive repair at this place. read more

Avoid, bought a "simple snap" screen saver for a note 8, cost $35 and was highly rated by the salesman, it chipped and cracked within a week without being dropped... Called batteries + and was told it's a warranty issue, checked with simple snap and its $9 for the "free" replacement... Reviews on f/b show others with the same problem... Granted batteries + doesn't make these items but they do sell and recommend them, then, refuse to stand behind them read more

They worked hard to replace the batteries in my power chair and the store was very busy. Every one of the staff seemed to give personnel and good customer service to all the customers in the store. It took longer than expected for my chair, because it was older, but they were very nice. read more

The customer service here is terrible--not helpful at all and never ask you if you need help or offer any help. I came here to recycle some AA batteries (about 30) and the man working was so rude when I asked him, saying that I needed to buy something or else I'd have to pay per pound of batteries I recycled. I understand the policy, but he wasn't even polite about it. Not impressed. read more

Went to this location in search of a motorcycle battery replacement. Dropped by here on my way through town to see if I could get replacement batteries for my cellphone and laptop. Although initially confusing on the amount of time it would take to fix my phone, Jeremy came through with flying colors and gave great customer service, fixing the speaker on my phone in record time, less than 10 minutes from the time I walked into the store, to the time I walked out of the store, thanks!! read more

I bought the lifetime battery replacement for several watches (5-6 years ago) and have been going there since then. I was there today with six watches and have never been treated so rudely. Came here after taking my friend's iPhone 6 to Apple for a screen repair. They refused to service the phone because I had replaced the battery with a non-Apple product. They said "take it to Batteries Plus or somewhere like that." The service we received at Batteries Plus Bulbs was so professional, and they were so helpful! We were told it would be about two hours for the repair, and if they couldn't do the repair, there would be no charge. Feeling hopeful, we left and had a wonderful, leisurely lunch nearby. We returned after about two hours, and the phone was returned to us in perfect working condition!!!! Can't say enough good things about this read more

I walked in this store on Tuesday to drop off a couple of devices to have batteries installed. One couple at the counter working with a person at the cash register, and one person looking at shelves. I get in line and after 5 minutes, out come 3 people from the back of the store. The first one walks up to a couple that just walked in the store, and the other 2 go to the shelve loiterer, who must have talked to him earlier. A few more minutes and I finally get to the front and announce the the 2nd is obviously last here! I dropped of my gear and came back after my dental appointment down the road. This will be the LAST time I ever walk in this place. The people were slow and rude, and if the fellow who skipped me me for the new couple had that happen to him, I'm sure he would have cried discrimination... I still spent $30 bucks here for a battery I could have had delivered to my house in half the time for half of the price... They think... it may be in in a couple of weeks. What a JOKE! read more

Can't award zero stars, so 1 star will have to do. The tech who "helped" me was a patronizing idiot. I told him about an intermittent problem I was having and what I wanted him to try. He refused to help me, saying I had either a carrier problem or SIM card problem. I spoke a tech at a competitor's store who said "yeah, that's probably a loose connection". Duh, that's what I said. I will never be back & suggest you look elsewhere for assistance. read more

One day at work i dropped my iPad and broke the glass. I chose this place because they were right down the road to where I was working that day and I was planning on dropping the iPad off and coming back at the end of the day. When I came back to pick it up, I had to talk to the manager because it was not up to may standards. The manager, Blake, agreed and had the glass replaced again. When I came back to pick it up again it looked fine but as over the next few days, there were problems and I had to take it back. At that point I felt Blake went above and beyond to make things right. He started making phone calls and shooting off emails to his bosses to make sure I was a taken care of. Blake made me a very happy customer, he was in constant communication with me. I never once felt that I was being taken advantage of of brushed off as being an overly picky customer. The situation was taken care of in a very timely and professional manner. They way I see it, it's not the mistakes that define a person or company, it's how they handle the mistakes. Blake is the reason why I gave 4 stars. Thank you very much for they way you rectified the situation read more

I bought four rechargeable batteries for my apple mouse. They say they are fully charged on the package. My mouse would not turn on. I tried two other brands of batteries in the office and they worked. So I put them on the charger overnight. They still would not turn the mouse on. I bought these in mid December before leaving for vacation. I went in to get a different brand of battery on Jan 9th and brought my mouse with me. I showed the salesman how they would not turn the mouse on. He tested the batteries and said they were fine. I put another set of batteries in the mouse I brought with me (different brand) and they turned the mouse on. Showed the salesman the mouse was now turned on. While I was looking for my receipt the salesman asked when I bought them and I said mid December. He said he was sorry that they have a 14 day return policy. I couldn't believe it, 14 days, they never worked. I left the store and the worthless batteries with the salesman. I told him I would never buy anything from batteries plus again. He started to say something, I was so mad at that point after being told there was nothing wrong with them, yet they would not turn on a wireless mouse I left with a few choice words. read more

So far so god with all my batteries needs. From cell phones to atv, they have it. A real no trainer and their prices are reasonable.

Do not bring your ipad here for battery replacement. After waiting for 2 weeks for them to get a replacement battery the battery was slightly bigger so the screen didnt fit quite as well. One edge was slightly raised but it worked fine and the battery lasted so i was fine with it until the screen came unglued even more and then the home button doesnt work because the screen isnt glued down anymore. I have their 6 month warranty so i took it in. Was told they have a new battery that fits better but of course it has to be ordered and of course it is back ordered from their distributor so I now have an I Pad that i cant use. I was told maybe in 3 weeks they might have one. Not really counting on it. I now can't take it to Apple since someone else has done repairs on it. Lesson learned-take it to Apple right away even if it costs more or is a hassle to mail or take to an Apple store. read more

I took in three wrist watches to have the batteries changed. The clerk was rude and abrupt with me. Told me they were busy and I should come back later. That was not convenient. He shrugged his shoulders. I said I would wait in the car. Read for a while, went back in and the clerk said he couldn't open one of the watches (even though the battery had been changed there before) He threw the watches on the counter and said the other ones are running now and walked away. Yes, the other two watches were now running, but he had not bothered to set them to the correct time. He was a jerk. read more

Very dishonest store. Tried to sell me a light bulb made by a company that's out of business. Touted the "lifetime warranty" that's worthless the minute you hand over your money. They mentioned the company, Switch Lighting, was moving back to the US. A Google search confirmed Switch might be trying to do that but another person confirmed Switch owed him $50k. Why would this store try to sell a product with a lifetime warranty knowing the manufacturer was out of business? Had they said they were on clearance or only had a 3 year warranty through them I would have bought them knowing the risk. I will never be shopping there again. read more

As their logo says "all of your battery needs" is not the case. I have a vhf radio that needs a new battery. A very popular brand of vhf. I also had a high end flashlight that I wanted to have a battery custom made for it. Neither request was handled. The staff was very stand off if there were any questions I had. After waiting for weeks for them to tell me if they could make or order the parts I needed they told me no. The store took my items and sent them out....to just get them back and tell me no. Once I received my vhf radio and flashlight back I went online to find and order the exact parts needed. Not only did I find them online I also found them at Radio Shack. How embarrassing to Batteries Plus that Radio Shack had their unobtainable item.....in stock! This was my third strike with this place and will not go back. For reference...Fred Myers and Wal-Mart have better prices on all batteries too. This place does not do good business and are very limited on there expertise. read more
