I showed up at the last minute, (4:59), and they helped me, an ordinary laptop end user, find a part and they also explained to me, what I had to do, in an understandable way. I am a writer (no, really I am!) and so my laptop computer is critical to me. The other day it started going black screen when I was doing certain things. I fiddled with it, ran some software to see if it could heal itself. Nothing worked. A quick trip to the Yelp app and there they were, Cutting Edge Computer Solutions, with great reviews. Bonus points, they were a six minute drive from my home. In I walked, laptop in hand, a sullen look of concern on my face. The guys listened to my tales of woe and despair and felt it could be handled quickly. Off I went to run errands, but my thoughts and prayers were directed to my Hewlett Packard. Four hours later they called, it was fixed. I was reunited with my laptop and it was feeling much better now. The bill was only about half of what I thought it would run as well. Another bonus. If I could give ten stars on this review I honestly would. This business is amazing. My husband tried working on his computer multiple different days and reaching out to various different resources to get his elgato up and running. My husband looked for different options just in case for shops by searching online and he came across cutting edge. We dropped off the computer Friday (today) at around 2 p.m. and they said they would try to have everything done by Monday. The man called at 4 p.m. same day saying he got everything fixed and running. Kind people, exceptional service and reasonable prices for various different services and they even replaced my husband's lost screw when he was tinkering with the computer. I was having trouble installing a new graphics card and found I just did not have the patience for it. I found Cutting Edge online, read their reviews, and decided to give it a shot. I called them at 9 am and dropped off my PC and graphics card a few minutes later. Cutting Edge had it fixed at 2 pm and at a fair cost. I've been in twice in the last year and both times these guys went above and beyond helping me. The first time, my toddler pushed buttons on my laptop and turned my screen upside down. It was an easy fix and they showed me how to fix it again should it happen, which of course it did! Little kids! Granted it was an easy solution, but they didn't charge me. Then just today I took my laptop in again because I kept getting an error message when transferring a video from my desktop to an external device. I had played around with it for about a month and never could figure it out. These guys were prompt in resolving the issue and transferred my video over for me. Super awesome service. I had been working on sending important information via Internet and after working 24 hrs on it and information continuing to be aborted over and over again, I brought all of my information to Cutting Edge Computer Solutions. Stan was able to send my video in 15 minutes (it was going to take 4 hrs. on my computer, except it would abort before the 4 hrs). I also had to send via the same email alot of attachments. I was in and out in less than 1 hr. with my information being sent successfully. The best part of this company is that the price was very reasonable! read more
