I was at the Home Depot on Madison in Murrieta when I called batteries plus. The voice message stated if I wanted to speak to a salesman to press one and I did so. This message repeated three more times with me pressing one each time in the hope they would finally answer. No sales person answered so I hung up. I waited a few minutes and called again getting the same message after pressing one three more times I began driving to the store. As I entered the 15 freeway I pressed number one for approximately the 10th time, after about 30 seconds, the call was disconnected by the recording. By the way, when I first called, the recording, stated what the business hours were for the day. I discovered once I reached the store location why no sales person ever answered the phone. There were no sales people at the location because the store was closed and empty of all product. There were signs on the door stating the business would be closing at the end of their lease, which was on June 30. I was there on July 1. Another sign on the door stated I could go to their Palm Desert store and it provided the address and phone number for that location. I try to support the mom and pop and small chain stores shopping there rather than the big box or on the internet. My battery need on this occasion was for a specialty battery I was certain Batteries + would sell. I had no intention of driving down to the Palm Desert store or even the Vista store because I would spend more money on gas than I if I bought it online. I did speak with an employee at the Palm Desert location voicing my about the voice message system that was still in play at the former Temecula store. I told him in my opinion the message should've been changed on the closing of the store advising that the location was permanently closed. This would save people from making more than the one call or driving to the location. The employee told me he would advise the owner. I called the Temecula store a few minutes ago (7-3-25) and found it was still a working number. I also discovered the recording had not been changed as it repeated the exact same verbiage that it had on the 30th when I called. I don't know if the employee I spoke to advised the owner of my call to change the recording or if he did whether the owner decided not to change it. In either case, one of the two dropped the ball. read more

My go-to spot for anything battery related because sometimes I need batteries that you can get at Target. The service here is always great, and I feel like they go above and beyond. They also have some pretty good flash lights in stock. If you need any hard to find batteries, try this place because they'll probably have it. read more

i was shocked. i was registered as a warranty customer. i was bringing in dead batteries, even after they were switched, all while this location knew they were closing. so now i had car fobs that went dead almost immediately and i'm stuck with trying to find another location. bummer! read more

My husband has come here before to get his phone screen fixed and he said they were quick and friendly. I find their prices to be on the higher end, you'd probably get a better deal even looking it up on Groupon. When it was time to fix another phone screen, this was the first place I thought of. Lance wasn't the friendliest off the bat, but he became nicer as he checked in my phone. I liked that you could easily make an appointment via Yelp plus you get $10 if you book online. He was extremely thorough when asking me about the phone and very professional overall. Phone screen was fixed in less than an hour ($92 after tax) for an iPhone 7. I was only here for a day to help my mom. I needed a new battery for her key fab. Went to AutoZone and there was only one guy working at the counter. He was very nice, but the line was sooo very long. Although, he helped me open my key, they didn't have the battery I needed. I then proceeded to Home Depot, CVS, and to no avail. I called Battery Plus, even though it was a bit further out for me it was worth the 15 minutes! Not only, did they have the battery for her key. Her second key I was able to just order here instead of the dealers that charge at least $100 more! The most nicest thing about this store was the customer care! I was waiting in line and it wasn't long, but the fact that one of the employees was observing and knew what I needed to get done - sped up the process by changing my key battery for me! I purchased a brand new Duracell ultra battery for my bike in December of 2023, but in April of 2024, the battery would NOT charge. I took it back thinking that in less than 6 months I had the battery they would give me a replacement battery. NO that didn't happen, I'm told we need to check it out and put it on the charger overnight. (okay) came back the next morning, got the battery home and it still does not hold a charge. will not do business with them ever again!!! read more

I would never buy another Battery from this place. I purchased a 12 V Battery from them with a 48 month warranty in 8/17 I took my dead battery in hand it read 2.0 volts on it so they kept it over night to charge it. It went up to 6.0 volts so since it's under 10.0 volts the warranty is voided. There are Other Battery shops that will give you replacement battery with no question ask. So never buy from them cuz there will sell something saying all good thing about the warranty it's a SCAM DON'T WASTE YOU money with that. I also bought a flash light that if you press a button opposite of the on and off switch that will drain the battery on the flash light. Ow this was the dummest flash light I've ever seen. I am very disappointed with my experience at this store. I had purchased a replacement battery for my I-Phone 5C back in December of last year. I went into the store yesterday because my battery has been discharging significantly over the past couple of weeks under normal usage. The representative of the store was professional, but told me that the purchase was out of warranty (6 Months for a battery). It was 7 months to the day that I made the purchase. Although I was offered about a $20 discount off the retail price for a replacement, I declined. I would expect that the battery life would be 18 - 24 months based on usage from research on the Internet. My OEM Apple Battery lasted for over 3 years with heavy usage for my work tasks. I would not recommend purchasing an aftermarket battery here for your I-Phone considering the lifespan of the "generic" battery. Better pay more for it at the Apple Store and get more use out of the battery. read more

The email had no caveats on it like the need to confirm by phone or other means to see if a tech or parts were going to be available. When I arrived, the part was not available. I have purchased my lights and bulbs here since they have opened this location. Come in every two months or so and stock up on AA, AAA and D batteries. Always pay around $5.60 a pack, come in today and they are charging 3 times the price. They have plenty of stock and I understand supply and demand but to completely price gouge because of the corona virus. Shane on them for taking advantage of a situation. I bought a jetski battery in July 2018, wouldn't hold a charge July 2019. Guy tells me "warranty only good for 6 months. No prorate." He tells me "it must have drained down too low."
