I walked in looking for a ipod battery. I was not greeted for a few minutes, then was told they don't have that type of battery. I will not come back if i need a battery for anything else read more

I don't usually go to this Batteries+Bulbs location, but stopped in because I was in this part of town. I have a rechargeable dog trimmer that wasn't working, and didn't know whether it was the battery or the device. Fortunately, Chris was there and helped me troubleshoot the problem. He happened to have a random battery on his workbench that fit the trimmer and worked. This confirmed that the problem was the old battery, not the trimmer! Problem solved! Thank you, Chris! read more

On January 10, 2024 I ordered 2 mobile wheelchair batteries from this store When I arrived on the 01/11/2024 to pickup my order I wasn't greeted for a few minutes than the person; who said he was the manager was rude and nasty to me. So, I asked him to cancel my order and he got upset, so I left the store and contacted their customer service line. The young lady I spoke with was unconcern with my problem, so I requested to speak to a supervisor. She told me no supervisor was available and she would have someone call me back within 24 hours. It's now 11/24/2024 and I haven't received my refund nor a call from anyone concerning my refund. read more

I went in to get an obscure bulb for a lamp...the guys were professional and hooked me up quickly. I accidentally left a small piece of the lamp that goes over the bulb. I live 3hrs away and didn't realize until I was back home. I called and spoke with the same guy who had helped the day prior, Connor, he remembered and had the piece..."It's in my office...I will keep for you until you can come and get...". Nice Job guys...they could have easily brushed it aside/'not my problem'...but nope. Attention to Detail makes Pros. read more

They fixed my phone battery very quickly and for a great price! I would definitely recommend.

My key fob stopped working and when I used the key to unlock my door my car accused me of attempting theft according to the dashboard message. The nerve! Anyway I went to Batteries Plus and in less than 3 minutes of being in the store I was greeted, my battery replaced, my register transaction completed and then out the door I went with a working key fob and restored trust in my vehicle that I wasn't a car burglar. I appreciated the very quick, very efficient service. read more

I would give them OVER 5 Stars !!!! I have never had a bad experience here !!! They're always nice friendly and helpful. For me they have always gone ABOVE AND BEYOND expectations And they have really helped me out of several jams. Highly recommended, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Chris, Abraham and one other employee help me out greatly. Highly Recommended. Alex R. read more

Great place to find unusual batteries and chargers.

I freaking love this store. Its awesometastic. So I hate brands. I'm not shallow enough to shell out thousands for some shi++y purse that, frankly, is the ugliest thing I've ever seen (Aimee, I know you hear me). But sometimes, and by sometimes I mean extremely rarely, a brand actually exudes quality. There are only 2 things in the world I insist on buying brand for. #1 for many reasons is Reef flip-flops, which I plan to be buried in. #2, of course, is Timex. Specifically my Ladies Expedition watch, which is on its third band and just now, after 4 or 5 years, ran out of battery life. I took my watch to the nice kids down at Batteries Plus, where they found the battery, meticulously placed it in the Timex, and charged me a mere $4 for the trouble. They have batteries for EVERYTHING. I recommend coming here if you need any weird-shaped battery for any device (unless you're super-techy and good at locating the battery aisle in Fry's). I found the prices reasonable, and they have batteries for every cell phone and laptop ever made. They blow away any selection I've ever seen. read more

They do shoddy work on cell phones and will refuse to honor warranties if there is even the slightest of ways for them to get out of doing so. I have brought in three different devices and all three of them either didn't function the same after leaving or within months needed warranty work, which they refused to do on two of three occasions. I expect better service after spending hundreds of dollars at a store. read more

I'll be the first to admit it, I'm pretty technologically challenged. That being said, I'm sure I've been ripped-off in the past because of this (much like Jiffy Lube trying to pull a fast one on the phallically challenged). Thanks Batteries Plus dudes for being totally awesome and honest! I called up Batteries Plus because I was getting ready to go on a trip and really wanted to use my digital camera (which had been out of commission for a few years because I lost the charger/dock and couldn't find a new one). I told them that I just needed to get a new battery and they assured me they had one that was compatible with my now old school camera. When I arrived, I was ready to buy a battery and go. Thankfully, the very helpful employees realized that, being the genius that I am, I thought that I could just buy the battery and bam my camera would work! They informed me that I'd still need to charge the battery beforehand and that my old battery was definitely no good. Because the only compatible charger was a multi-battery charger (and pretty pricey), they gave me a DISCOUNT!! Oh, and did I mention they're open until 8:00 on the weekdays?? I'll definitely be back for all my battery-powered needs! read more

Awesome customer service! First, I had a cellphone that couldn't keep a charge and was super hot right before I was going to be out of town. I got a new battery from them and it still didn't help. I had to get a new phone. I brought the battery back the next day with receipt and they issued a refund. Second, my husband got a new car battery from them and they installed it for free. Prices are reasonable, workers are knowledgeable, and customer service is superb. The guy who worked there offered to solder a battery on to my electronic item for free. As I was leaving, the guy also helped install car batteries in another customer's car for free. If you need any battery for anything, just go here. There's no need to go anywhere else. Chris, you rock! This has been one on my best experiences with any business. I went there to get my new key fob programmed. I was expecting to pay $30-$45 for the service. Chris was able to help me soon as I walked in the door. With a %50 discount coupon, it only cost about $22. Batteries Plus Bulbs in Addison, great job & great service! read more

I stumbled here to find a rare battery I had looked for at Fry's Electronics, 2 Discount Electronics, 3 Radio Shacks, and a Batteries Plus all in Austin, Texas. I came to Dallas for the holiday weekend to see my family and decided to try one more time. Amazingly enough, they knew the exact battery I had been searching for and had several in stock! The guys also gave me some good advice on a Sharper Image flashlight I had and helped me get two different sets of bulbs I sorely needed to fix up my Mom's house. An employee also helped point me to a Locksmith down the street I needed. This store and all the workers get a definite A+ Bravo! - Eric J. Wheelock read more

Had my watch battery replaced a couple years ago at the Sherman location and they offered me an lifetime warranty on the battery. It started to fade a little and this location replaced it at no charge and quickly. Well done. read more

This place doesn't deserve anyone's business period. My parents went this morning to get my mothers watch replaced and since this location is near by they went there. They were in line waiting behind a customer who was paying and then a couple walked in and were walking in the aisles looking around and that's when the worker walked to the aisles where the couple went and left my parents standing there at the cash register looking stupid all the because the worker ignored them to go help out someone else when my parents were standing in line the whole time. Does that sound right to go into the aisle when you have someone in line waiting for your help? No! Then my father calls and the man whoever it was who he was talking to was very rude telling my father's he's done with him not trying to fix the problem or apologize for the rude mistake they did. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want to wait in line just to be ignored. read more

If you are looking for odd types of batteries all in one location this is your place! They have anything from small watch batteries to car batteries. You can also recycle your old batteries on site. I'm not sure about the brand of batteries or how long they last. One of the battery backup type units failed in less than 2 years compared to the APC brand I usually buy. The prices are fair! read more

Recently my iPhone battery went dead. I called these fine guys at Batteries & Bulbs and they said they could put a new one in. I was surprised as I thought only Apple Stores could do this. They were extremely knowledgeable and courteous and I had my phone running in ten minutes. What a fine group of people work here. I recommend them heartily!!!!! read more

They were very fair and recommended Dr. Gold to help me with my watch. Great location and very easy to access.
