I can't really rate yet because I haven't actually been BUT I called today about their Mother's Day event (pictured) and didn't get the best feeling. I asked the person in the phone what time the Pilates started and she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about so I explained the flyer said 10:30-1 but I didn't know when in that time frame anything was occurring and she said to check the instagram page (um...that is where nothing is explained). So I asked if she could ask someone that might know, on hold for a while, and she came back and said around the beginning- so no definitive time. Red flags. Then I asked about the brunch and what type of food. She sounded confused and said there is no brunch (see attached flyer on their Instagram). I told her I saw that the flyer said brunch which I assumed was for purchase but she said there is no brunch, maybe some snacks. Then I read these reviews about the bait and switch and got more concerned. I thought this sounded fun for Mother's Day with my mom but don't want to throw $55 down the drain. If I end up going I will revise my review but based on the interaction over the phone not sure it's worth the risk.

I was glad I brought a pool bag to tote around an extra towel, water bottle and book. I don't sit idly well so I had to have a book.

A relaxing, very Austin-y adventure! I had a massage which also allowed us to use the facility, which was amazing. The massage was exactly what I needed: intentional, relaxing, and definitely tension-easing. Upon request, staff showed me around to the showers, saunas, standard dip pool, mineral bath, and cold plunge. She was specific to note to shower between each and gave me a suggested plan when I asked! I've never used a cold plunge before and that was shockingly different! They also had coworking and chill space inside. They had a drink vending machine for different types of NA beverages. No snackies (that I saw), so bring a snack if desired! Free water/cups to stay hydrated. I wish I planned several hours there, as it was unique and lovely. Parking was free and easy- grabbed coffee next door first and that was a great spot too.

Ashley gave me a lovely tour, nice facility east side to sweat out or chill. Looking forward to go to events as the space is great.

This place is amazing. I had been looking for a locate sauna studio. I was able to get a same day…read moreintro session and after my first visit I fell in love. The staff is super kind and helpful. I really love how you can put notes on each appointment you book for your preferred temperature, what you want to watch on the tv and even what color you'd like in your sauna room. This place is top of the line. As a CrossFitter working out anywhere from 4 to 6 days a week this has really enhanced and sped up my recovery, hands downs. I love it here! If you are thinking of trying Perspire out... DO IT!!!

I did so and specified that my budget didn't allow me to continue a membership. The male owner tried to ignore my termination and charge me for another month. (He also tried to tell me that I was wrong about my budget....) I emailed back, telling him to cancel and refund my membership, per his wife's and attendant's statements. He sent me boilerplate language I had never seen and that I was not asked to read at any point before or after signing, stating that cancellation must be made 24 hours before and and "received during business hours." The latter is patently absurd, as a customer cannot control when cancellation is "received." False, misleading and simply sleazy. Caveat emptor with this business. Follow-up: The business owner again tried to charge my card, 30 days later, with my cancellation unambiguous and in writing, and clearly received. Nowhere did I agree to an uncancelable lifetime membership - in case that is the owner's next absurd argument. These people are con artists. I absolutely would not give them your card information under any circumstances. If you've canceled, check your credit card statements.

Third Thursdays here introduced me to a third space that people are so often lacking in the 2020s. Ceremony is a social spa where it feels like a homestay with amenities geared towards wellness. It's not like those medical-inspired clinics where things feel sterile (albeit safe) and intimidating. It's inviting and warm to match their encouragement of conversation. I'm greeted by healthy plants, fresh pumpkin-apple-bread and a tour of the space. The main facilities are an indoor cold plunge, an outdoor barrel sauna (both pictured), an even colder outdoor cold plunge, and an even hotter indoor sauna. Showers and a restroom is available as well as other services relating to east Asian practices, massages, scrubs, etc. If you're feeling like you need a break, there's a few couches in a homey lounge to sit on. There was a tea event happening in one of the rooms as well. Despite coming for a scheduled event, it actually wasn't busy at all (probably because it's a come-and-go situation over the span of 3 hours). It gives way to organic conversation and movement around the space as you participate in contrast therapy. I recommend starting with the more mild temperature-d facilities before moving onto the higher magnitude ones. It's not a gigantic space, but it's something that you can only expect in similar cities like Austin where people are willing to make a space like this and are not hampered by extremely cold temperatures. Getting a pack of drop-ins is most economic option since you can get the price down to around $25 for usage of their facilities that day. They also don't seem like sticklers that make you feel watched or pressured about anything. I can imagine those that come here feel like they are friends with the people that work here. If you're looking to connect with people, your body, and yourself, this is a great place to try.

Love this place. Such a hippie vibe but what a perfect Austin spot…read more Got a full tour when we first arrived, love that it's indoor outdoor and perfect for a relaxing time. They have two saunas and two cold plunges and lots of spots to sit, chat, drink tea. Left feeling so relaxed! Definitely would come back and highly recommend to anyone!
