We recently had Bath Fitters complete a bathroom tub/shower combination to a full shower install in our home in Phoenix Arizona. Bath Fitters consultant, Art Roth, visited our home to provide a free estimate. Art was on time, provided different options and recommendations for our tub/shower to shower project. Although Art was friendly and professional, we felt rushed during our appointment. It was as if he needed to get to another appointment. Even though we are fast thinkers, we still had to review over all our documents and plans after Art left to make sure we had everything covered. We wished that portion of the process was less stressful. Bath fitters accommodated our schedule for the installation of our new shower. They stayed in communication by email from the confirmation of the contract until the Installation date. Prior to our installation date Bath Fitters provided instructions on how to prepare for and what to expect the day of installation. We are very pleased with our installer, Stephen. From start to finish Stephen was professional, friendly, reliable, and respectful of our property. He arrived on time and communicated with us throughout the process. Stephen addressed any issues that came up and resolved them immediately, staying on the job until it was correct and completed. Stephen kept the workspace clean and organized at all times. Stephen cleaned up all the debris from the job both in and outside of our home. Stephen took pictures throughout the installation process and forwarded them to us. Couldn't install on original date because of damaged supplies from shopping. Waited another week, and now we are left with an un usable shower because all the supplies weren't included and a main plumbing part was damaged. When you pay that much for a 1 day install and are left with something unusable it's ridiculous. They sent a single installer for the prject. The only reason it's 3 stars and not 1 is because what the installer did complete was excellent, he did a great job, it's just a shame they don't have a better QA process to inspect and inventory their items before starting a job. Update 11.04.25 And so the saga continues. After the original review was submitted, the local shop contacted us to schedule a time to fix all of the issues. That was to have been last week Thursday 10.30.25. The installer got tied up on another job and did not make it to our house until 2PM. We then had to reschedule to today 11.04.25. He showed up at just after 7am. When he started working to repair/replace the bad installation, he discovered that the wrap was badly damaged. We were told that there was another wrap would be in the warehouse tomorrow. He is scheduled to come back on Thursday. Is this ever going to end??? My next thought is that they measure to fit but magically have one of the same thing in the warehouse. Something is not right there. The wrap is off of the wall now and there are 2 other wraps still attached to the wall, so this will make it 3 thick. Everything is still in the base and the shower is unusable for at least 3 more days after they come an reinstall and we wait for the caulk to cure. This makes a large number of days for our shower in our master bath to be unusable. 10.19.25 Bath Fitter attempted to do our installation on 08.14.25 and today is 10.20.25 and it is still disaster with many issues still unresolved. The wall was rounded at the back of the shower. They replaced the shelves to hide that. There was caulk in places that it did not belong including outside of the shower. The shower head was not properly installed and it leaked. The entire unit had to be replaced due to creaking and still has issues. 2 months and multiple visits to resolve is unacceptable. read more

We then waited another week or so for the right part to show up.No one from the company called to explain or apologize for situation. Customer Service is obviouisly lacking. I had to call them to find out when the new part was coming. They should have called us straight away to explain and apologize for the inconvenience. No one did.This ruined our overall experience. We have been looking into options to affordably update/redo a small shower. We called Bath Fitter to attempt to get some (any!) general idea of how expensive such a small shower redo would be with this company. We were told there was absolutely no way any ballpark estimates or even cost examples could be given unless someone came out and did an official visit. We hesitated because we had a specific budget in mind, but were given no other option if we wanted to learn the price. The person came out to do an estimate within a few days and was extremely informational and polite. However, the price was dramatically higher than our budget (something we'd have known if given any indication whatsoever, and wouldn't have wasted the representative's time). The representative was kind when we told him it was not an option for us, but also told us that there is a discount if we book TODAY. He explained this is NOT a gimmick, it's simply an incentive because they are so booked up. Again, we can't do it. He told us the small shower would cost $18K to redo if we went with someone else. This is simply not true, but again - not going to get us to change our budget. The final plea from the (again, very nice) representative was that Bath Fitter representatives/salespeople will LOSE THEIR JOBS if they have lower than a 50% close rate. Are you kidding me? I wouldn't recommend supporting a company that sends salespeople out to give estimates to customers for whom the product is just not at all the right price point, and then FIRES them if they do not close the sale. read more

We started our venture with Bath Fitter in June. On July 1st, they came out and did the demolition. July 2nd was the day for installation, which did happen. The installer brought a set in handheld shower head holder when we ordered all magnetic holders. I pointed out the sales guy mistake and was told they would replace it ASAP. Twenty-five days later, they finally put on the correct holder. They also sent out someone to measure for the glass. I asked and was under the impression that I still had time to make changes and would receive a drawing of how the glass would look. That never happened. I got a call from Tru-glass and was told they are ready to install the glass. Still, I had not received the drawing. Obviously, there is a huge lack of communication. I would never have approved their illustration. I am still waiting for an answer about what they are going to do a month later. My next letter will be to the ROC to file a complaint. read more

Five Star remodeled my shower and did a great job! They communicated with me regularly throughout the process. There was water damage from the old shower to a wall outside the bathroom and they cut out the damaged area, sheet rocked the wall and readied it for painting with no additional charge to me. Contacted them in February for consult gave deposit and waited 3 months. Install comes and it doesn't fit. Was told they would call never called. We followed called them were told we have a "unicorn" tub. They came took manual measurements a month later they show up for install and it still doesn't fit. We're told they will call with next steps they never followed up. Fast forward to October we get our deposit back in the mail with no communication. What a garbage company read more

Bath fitter was the worst, none existent customer service!! When we got our bath and shower done, we were told they can can provide life time warranty and we can call them anytime if we have any issues. That's is A LIE. Ten months after the installation a slab on the shower glued to the wall that we place shampoo bottles on started to separate from the wall. It was last year December before Christmas time that we made the first phone call. We want to not just fix the slab but also order another new one to be glued on underneath the pre-existing one. After about 5 phone calls my husband finally talked to a life person. He was told once the new slab arrives they will call back to schedule the repair. And then that was it. We tried calling 20 other times throughout 5 months and no one ever answers or calls back. They probably figure this is a low number job and its not worth their business. Made the mistake of contacting them for 2 new showers. I asked them to email and not call because of my work schedule. I ended up getting 6-8 calls per day and finally blocked them. If a company cannot follow simple instructions then I cannot trust them to do the work that we are looking to get done. read more
