    Old tub rust part duex
    Enoch L.

We had a relatively cheap steel tub prior - it was so thin that it flexed when you stepped into it, and had developed a bowl in the middle so it never drained properly after use. The tub had started to rust out, it had been glazed before in the past and that was peeling up. Same with the shower wall tile - glaze was peeling and the entire thing was just impossible to keep clean. Worked with Bath Fitter of Livonia (shout out to Matt Mosely and Julian - our installer - who was just super professional) to get the old tub removed and replaced, and the shower enclosure lined. They began around 8:30-9 AM on a Wednesday... and were finished by 8 PM that same day! Just an incredible attention to detail - the side molding turned out better than I could have imagined, and the new tub and shower liner is just 100% classy! They even cleaned up after the job - extremely professional and just a pleasure to deal with. Julian was our installer, and I can only speak accolades about him. His supervisor (can't remember his name), did come by at the very end and lend a hand with some of the detail work, and he was very friendly and professional. I have been looking for a local company to do this sort of work, do it top notch, and do it at a great/fair price. Bath Fitter fulfilled all of those requirements, and then some. Highly recommended!!! Also, as a side note - I also took comparative proposals from 2 other companies which I won't mention by name, but one of them tried to tell me the inside of my wall had mold/mildew and was 100% humid (by using their humidity detector). I was fairly certain this was not true, as the wall is the rear shower wall and is almost never wet, is inside with no plumbing, and I had personally been in my attic and know there is no roof leak. Sure enough, when Bath Fitter removed the lower portion of that wall to remove our old tub, IT WAS COMPLETELY DRY AND DEVOID OF ANY MOLD/MILDEW. So if you have a company using a humidity detector to claim there is water/mold inside of your wall to sell a job, I wholeheartedly advise you to take that with a grain of salt. Dishonest stuff right there. Bath Fitter saved the day!

Do you do financing? Also do you do kitchen remodeling?

Hi Lyndsey, we do offer financing options but we do not do kitchen remodeling. We mainly work in the bathtub and shower area.

There are beautiful displays to help spark your imagination and the pricing is very large and clear so if you are working with a contractor with a per square foot price range you are in good shape. And, what they have on the floor is in stock (you can generally see it sitting there.)Product selection and availability are definitely not the issues. So, what is? Service. They just haven't figured that out yet. The person I feel for the most is the cashier. I have now tried checking out twice and the illegible UPC codes typically printed on the depth side (yeah like a quarter inch deep) are distorted and impossible to scan. Two out of two times she has had to either go get a legible code or stand there calling for assistance that never comes. I had to go run and get a couple different samples hoping one might scan easier. So, if one person is in front of you in line it will take no less than 10 minutes to checkout. And then on the floor, you have people very willing to help but you have to stand there as they go rushing by saying "I promise I will be right with you". So I am not saying the people don't want to help you, it's just there are bad systems and processes that make it really difficult for them to do it.

This store does carry all of the latest trends that people want to try, which is good. I am interested in some of the crystal candy, I do not always know where to get these products. The person working here did seem friendly. She did not talk to me, but she was engaging kindly with another customer having a lively pop culture conversation about a show. On the other hand this place is extremely overpriced if you know where to get your hot trendy products. For instance, they had the mango pealing candy for $4 or $5. I found the same product for $1.99 at Walgreen's. They have the carbonara noodles, which you can find for a lot cheaper. The other suspicious items you find here are the bootleg plush toys. I am not sure how stores like this or kiosks at the mall get away with selling bootleg toys, but the Hazbin hotel plushies are not original or necessarily licensed. Since I do buy the kids Vizipop merch, I always go to the official website. These items tags stated things like hotel pig and hotel spider. I also found them on Amazon that stated they were "inspired" by the show Hazbin Hotel. The official website is how the artist makes money, so I am not sure how the law works with the copies. I would go back to the store and the kids would like it too but I will try to only purchase official and licensed merch.

This company uses predatory business practices. They lure you in with their reputation and their…read morefancy show room and act super professional in the beginning - but the fact is they require $550 for an in person quote, and 50% down before starting... as soon as they received my 50% down payment (you should never do this, 50% gives the corporation far too much power) all of a sudden it's like a switch is flipped and they treat you completely different. That's because they have successfully trapped you, after that all promises of high quality, timely work, and project management that is supposed to be all of high standards, given the premium price points and additional costs of this "professional" establishment, stop existing. They then higher random 3rd party contractors for the bulk of the project for the cheapest prices - while charging you top dollar. They don't hold them accountable, and they don't care. You will have to beg to get them to show up, and beg for them to come back when round 1 ends up being such low quality work that you'll need a re-do. They do this on purpose because a lot of people want to avoid the headache and will accept the low quality work. Avoid this corporate nightmare, they deliberately will try to cut corners on you, they force you to manage your own project, and ultimately you'll realize you got completely taken advantage of. The time frame for the project they present is a lie. The high quality and professionals they promise it a lie. You need to beg to get their experienced pros - they will send you random workers they find who barely know what their doing for the first round - then give you the better workers if you complain. Get ready to get on your hands and knees begging for your project to get focused on while you try to compete with 10+ other people begging for their project to get done at the same time. They over schedule and don't care because all they care about is getting you wrapped up in the predatory contract and then that's it, you're trapped. Find businesses that don't have these predatory business practices, go directly to places and work with them directly. You don't need a glorified middle man to "manage" the project for you, it's nonsense - it actually overcomplicates the project and they don't manage anything anyways, they make you become a full time project manager or things will never get done - or be such low quality that it'll appear your premium priced project was a DIY job. If you respect your time, money, and soul, you won't use KSI corporate nightmare.
