We loved the class! the Chef kept a great pace so that we made 3 versions of sushi, even though there were 14 people in the class. The room for the class isn't very big. The class consisted of 3 tables of 8. Twenty-four people per class is too big. It felt too cozy. I've taken a Sur La Table class before but it's been awhile. I remember it being more hands-on. In this class, we barely did anything. The lobster was cooked and cut for us. We cut some herbs and mixed the dressing. Not very exciting. The potatoes were pre-cooked and one person from each table got to smash them. We were given all the ingredients for the pie and we threw it all together and into a pan. The dough for the roll was premade for us. We each took a piece and rolled it into the shape of a roll. The Rickey was made for us. I wouldn't take another class.

Despite contacting them twice about this issue and being reassured that it was a mistake in their system, we have now received another notice regarding the same payment. It is incredibly frustrating to be accused of not making a payment that we clearly remember doing. At this point, I am requesting urgent communication from the owner to address this matter. The customer service we have experienced has been extremely poor, and I have no intentions of returning to this store in the future. It took an entire year for our order to be fulfilled, and now they are claiming they did not receive our cash payment upon delivery. This lack of accou

I would not recommend buying anything used from there.

I am interested in some of the crystal candy, I do not always know where to get these products. The person working here did seem friendly. She did not talk to me, but she was engaging kindly with another customer having a lively pop culture conversation about a show. On the other hand this place is extremely overpriced if you know where to get your hot trendy products. For instance, they had the mango pealing candy for $4 or $5. I found the same product for $1.99 at Walgreen's. They have the carbonara noodles, which you can find for a lot cheaper. The other suspicious items you find here are the bootleg plush toys. I am not sure how stores like this or kiosks at the mall get away with selling bootleg toys, but the Hazbin hotel plushies are not original or necessarily licensed. Since I do buy the kids Vizipop merch, I always go to the official website. These items tags stated things like hotel pig and hotel spider. I also found them on Amazon that stated they were "inspired" by the show Hazbin Hotel. The official website is how the artist makes money, so I am not sure how the law works with the copies. I would go back to the store and the kids would like it too but I will try to only purchase official and licensed merch.

When we heard it was sadly closing down at the end of the year, we made a special trip just to stop in here. It's a beautiful store with more than just gardening supplies. We picked up some toys for our cats as well as some Christmas ornaments and postcards as memorabilia. And I especially love how despite Luis the store cat passing away over 10 years ago, you can still find lots of references to him around the store. Really wish there was a way to save this place. :(

No matter the time of year I love visiting Downtown Home & Garden. My previous review stated, "I love any store where I can get tulip bulbs, a new bird house, a winter hat shaped like a Christmas tree, a new cookie sheet and a loaf of Zingerman's bread" and all that still rings true. But these days I also add national parks merch, gear for my dogs, holiday decor, kitchen gadgets and cookbooks and, perhaps most exciting for a Polish broad like myself, a variety of Polish pottery pieces. In the spring and summer months I can be found perusing peony bulbs for my garden, hummingbird feeders, bird seed and squirrel proof bird feeders, planters, plants/starters for my veggie garden, pest control and fertilizers, plus a variety of lawn decor and sculpture pieces, etc. Some things can be kind of pricey but you truly get what you pay for. Even after years out in the elements everything I've bought for my yard here is still in amazing condition, my plants from here always yield the most delicious fruits and veggies, and the little birdies are so happy with the snacks we provide them from their bins.

I found the site through a Google search but was at first skeptical in purchasing because I had never heard of this company before. After reading a few reviews online about Williams, I began to peruse the site in detail. I was very pleased at their excellent selection, competitive prices and free shipping across Canada. The site was easy to browse and navigate. A live chat online customer service pop up box appeared and the agent was very helpful in answering all my questions about my replacement Vitamix container. He informed me about the various discount codes available for my purchase. He was pleasant and informative and I felt very comfortable in placing my order. The delivery was timely and we are now enjoying our new Vitamix container. I am very pleased with my experience and would definitely use Williams again in the future and recommend it to others.

I emailed the company to arrange a return and a refund and they said they won't take it back because I left it in the sink for a day. What do they think happens to bar tending equipment? Beware what you buy too, they won't return it if it's terrible quality (not that this was supposed to be, they claim it's stainless steel and sure charge for it as if it was). Terrible service.
