I wanted to buy a specific scent while the $5.95 sale was on, but the location near me was out of stock. I was in the Springfield area and decided to check the mall. I was immediately greeted when I entered , and asked if I wanted to test one of the new scents. I was on a mission, so I asked for the scent I needed. I like travel sized items and sprays. I have better luck with scented sprays than lotions. You can get the same body wash and match it with a spray. The candles make great gifts. There are usually specials (buy one get one, etc). read more

I got items for 75% off and one of them was free - using my birthday item gift coupon. Staff was immediately helpful. Carrot cake body spray was a nice & unique scent product. Will definitely come back to this store. read more

11/16/19 Halt, who goes there?" "Just another customer looking to buy lotions at $2.95." "Well shit, come on in then." And so we did. There were many types of lotions that were on sale for $2.95, but I only found two that really liked. If they had Country Apple, Sparkling Waters or Pearberry, I would have snatched those bad boys up very quickly...others would too. This store may have been doing a one day sale, but they were kicking ass and taking names. I don't know how much they made on the total sales of lotion alone, but with tax your looking at $46.90 for 15 items of lotion. The employees were working hard opening boxes after boxes to resupply the shelves of products. A lot of women were in the store, but men were also buying products too. It was a one day event, but Bath and Body Works were testing the waters to see how this one sale would do. This sale also included the body lotion too. If this was a huge success for the company, I hope they include some of the past scented lotions that are licked away in the vault like Sparkling Waters and Country Apple. I think Countey Apple in the Winter Time would hit the spot and people's noses better than the summertime... why? Bees and Mosquitoes. This was a great day for lotion sales in my opinion. read more

This is more of a discount Bath & Body where you won't find the latest selections but you will get GREAT discounts on a variety of products. Not a big fan, but today I decided to stop in to checkout what all the hype was about. Well organized stores and helpful employees. Almost all the items in store were 40-50% off. Not a bad deal by far on some great lotions, creams, and bath bombs. A great place to quickly find a gift without breaking the bank. I managed to find a men's cream I liked for $6.50. Sure it's a bit more expensive but at least you can rest easy you're getting a high quality product, which is important for something that I'm putting on my skin. read more

The worst experience I have ever had in any retailer! I had Sheryl and she was dreadful. To make the long story short, I was returning old products without a receipt. Did you know BBW has a 100% guarantee on their products? Best return policy ever! Unfortunately, Sheryl thought she owned the place and had such a nasty demeanor and attitude. She spoke loudly and tried to embarrass me. Isn't that sweet? My friend was a past manager and recommended I call the company to file a complaint. Done. They resolved the issue. So this is my go-to chain for all those basic Bath & Body supplies. I also love this chain for the perpetual deals on various cherry blossom creams: buy two get one free. These body creams make for the perfect spur of the moment gift for just about any woman who seems to need a special pick me up. Yeah, I like to keep an emergency stash of such gifts at my house, because you never know when you will be invited to a birthday bash, need a gift for Secretary Day, or just need something for someone who has been especially cool. Yup, love the chain, but not so much this location, for the selection seems a little spartan, and the customer service needs some work. I realize that most sales clerks are bound to suspect my ability to make sensible selection, but this clerk seemed to think I was a caveman or something. Ugh, Look I got this, Ms Clerk, and this is one Fred Flintstone whoknows all about exfoliation and moisturizing, so move aside an let me show you how to shop. The Springfield Mall Bath & Body Works is A-OK. I am a fan of a number of the B&BW products. I like their wallflowers as well as couple of their signature scents. I was not happy to find they had recently stopped one I like as a day scent all and while they still carried products in another of my favorites they did not have the perfume option anymore. So I am giving a new scent a try and going with Beautiful Day (yes, I am that much of a U2 fan that the song began playing in my head as soon as I saw the name). Here is hoping... The women working the store were nice and the place was pretty well stocked as well as organized and clean. read more

Let me start by saying I'm not a big fan of overpriced overwhelming smelling products. My daughter likes to go and browse so I'm forced to go along. The staff usually leaves me alone however one sales clerk seemed to think there was something for everyone here and wouldn't leave me alone. I buy unscented products as a rule so bbw is just not my cup of tea. I don't want one bottle or buy 10 get 20 free either. 6 hand soaps for $25. I don't have 6 bathrooms and feel bad for anyone who does. Thanks for trying but I don't need to help spending my money. Let me start by saying my only experience at this store was on Black Friday.. but all that means is that my tolerance for this store was much HIGHER because it WAS Black Friday.. Walk in, crowded (obviously), totally understandable.. Find my stuff, stand in line.. and start that Black Friday wait.. again.. totally understandable. There are three of four registers open. Still fine. The problem. There were two lines formed at the registers. Two of the three cashiers were checking out one line, while one poor lady was checking out the other line--the line I was standing in. So while about 7 customers went through the line next to me. Only 2 got through my line. I stand in line for 25 minutes. Watching person after person checkout in the line next two me. Finally I'm next in line.. so I jump over to the middle cashier (a cashier who had steadily been checking out the other line).. Yay its my turn.... nope. Social distancing was not enforced and masks were not required according to the Store Manager, a HORRIBLE woman named Sheryl. Yesterday I was in line to purchase foam hand soap and noticed an entire family (husband, wife and 3 children) standing about 2 ft away from us with no masks. When I brought this to the attention of the store manager (Sheryl), she told me they didn't have to wear masks and if I didn't like it, I could leave. I tried to get a security guard to help me but he refused to enter the store. Corporate told me the would "get back to me" when I filed an official complaint. read more

Nice location this store was a little smaller then the one in Potomac mills that I usually go to but they sell a lot of stuff. The staff was amazing and the cashier was really sweet and gave me coupons for my next visit. It smelled great in there but not overpowering. I bought some hand soaps and some lotion. Today was my first time in this store located in Springfield Town Center, because I wanted to exchange a brand new lotion that cost $14.50 with something else. I also had two other items I was exchanging as well. There were only two people at the store...older woman and young guy. He exchanged the first two items perfectly but when we got to the lotion, he was trying to give me $10 for the lotion :/ Then...he gave me some jacked up answer that didn't make sense, so I took it back. He was annoying as hell to even when I was trying to look at things. I don't freaking get it? That particular lotion was all over the shelves for $14.50! Why the hell am I only going to get $10? I liked this Bath & Body works. They let you try the soap and everything in a sink. I am glad you can test the products. No one really said hi to me when I entered the store but I was so distracted with the smells. I think the products are way over priced though. read more
