Last time I was here (mid-October 2025), I was looking for an oracle card deck at the suggestion of my therapist. I asked one of the staff members, a younger person, for help. Instead of offering help, they judged my lack of knowledge and seemingly scolded me for looking for something I "knew nothing about." The people here seem to have a dislike of anyone coming in, given they stare at you as you walk in, don't acknowledge you at all, and then seem rather bothered when you have questions or are ready to check out. Don't bother going in if you're new to this and have questions, they have little to no interest in helping you or taking you seriously. Whenever I visit, I always find something that simply must come home with me. One of the best parts (to me) is that there is a wide variety of items made of different materials, stone, metal, pottery, fabric, and wood. There is a good supply of herbs and oils as well as candles and books, too. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. 9/28/21 Upon coming here, I saw that my last review on this establishment had been erased by Yelp. Nevertheless, I have decided to write another review on this place. I noticed there was one guy missing from this building when I was here last. A guy I saw the last time I was here. I did not know him personally, but I saw he had tragically passed away last year in 2020. I saw there are many new age stuff my wife is onto, but did not see anything that caught my eye this time around. I did see the owners cat getting a massage by guest of the store. The cat wasn't happy the massage eventually came to an end. The atmosphere here was pleasant, but no employee really asked if you needed help. I told them about the nuumite, they did not believe me (you can do a basic search and see instantly they are selling fakes, not a complicated process, or you can get them appraised). The young lady who sits at the table was fairly angry and they gossiped after I said something to them, and another staff member reeked of alcohol (this was the very kind one). I went there several times before I was educated enough to know. I did get the angry vibes from the brunette who stays planted at the table every time I went. I hope this can help someone else, there's something wrong with that place, I'm not complaining to complain, it's not a good place. Really. Beware the "reader": I find this store to be well-stocked and organized. A new employee was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. I will chalk up a general coldness from one of the staff behind the counter to her having a hard day. Maybe she's an introvert...? While shopping for malachite and selenite (they have a very nice selection!). The staff is ok but with their reader in attendance, I would have thought they would want to keep things quieter at the table across from the register... but not that day I guess; the readers don't need silence...? I decided on a whim to have a session with their reader/intuitive, a self-described Native American gentleman. This session should not repeat itself -- if S&S plans to have him back, they need to enforce the sanctity of what they purport to endorse: mysticism, Wicca, crystals, spirituality, shamanism, higher good, etc., then they must require he 1) smudge the area 2) cleanse the cards 3) offer and request permission from MY guides to his for the highest good of all 4) wear a mask 5) sanitize his hands, the cards, anything that he and a querent would mutually touch, the table was very small. Then the reading. Meh. HE CONSULTED A GUIDEBOOK SEVERAL TIMES DURING OUR SESSION!! Then the closing -- no benediction, meditation or expression of energetic gratitude. I have no idea if he cleansed the space of my energy (frustration and offense because I felt he was a sham from the outset) after me; we walked out the store together for him to get a stretch and fresh air. Just avoid him. Anyone can look at your hands, ask you about an injury you may have experienced as a child and then tell you with a raised eyebrow "it could've been worse you know..." -- duh! I'm going to say this.. When you step into any "metaphysical" shop it should be a great experience, and the vibes should be loving/positive. When I came in this shop yesterday there were two women working. One woman with short hair behind the register, and another taller woman with long hair on the floor. Both were occupied having personal conversations with other customers/friends. FINE. I was in the store for about 15 minutes and I watched them offer to help friends they were speaking to, but no one even greeted me at this point. I could feel the woman behind the register leering at me so I asked her if she was the owner of the shop. She told me she wasn't, and I mentioned how unsettling it was that I had been the shop for about 20 minutes and I wasn't greeted. She replied, "oh sorry" and continued to look at her phone. She still didn't offer me any assistance. MY GOODNESS. At this point I was very upset. Who wants to pick out stones when they're upset?! Unfortunately I did.. I wish I didn't. I felt VERY uncomfortable. After I received the "oh sorry", other patrons walked into the shop and were immediately greeted and offered assistance. I can't help but take this personally at this point. I should've left and took my business elsewhere. After I was in the shop for about 35-40 minutes, the woman behind the register asks if I need help with anything. I was ready to pay and leave at that point. There aren't many shops like this in the Northern Virginia area, this shop has a nice selection, but I feel that most items are over priced because of the area (Fairfax). You can bet your bottom dollar I will take my business somewhere else going forward. read more

I love this store. I've bought plenty of my spiritual tools here. Every-time I go in, I meet such kind people from all spiritual ways of life. It's so cool to hear folks talk about how they practice their ways. Just recently when I visited I was shown how to use a sing bowl. Though to chicken to try, I watched everyone stay with the distance needed for Covid and play. It was so balancing! I bought my first oracle deck from here as well in January. Nice selection of incense and tumbles. I found everyone I was looking for minix moqui balls (which is understand bc most places never have them in stock). Their palm stone selection was descent and well priced. It was fairly quiet went we arrived but didn't stay too long because it got crowded quite quickly; most were mindful about social distancing but the aisles were a little tight so we hope to be back soon during a less busier time to employee for a longer amount of time. read more

Walked in with my husband and 2 daughters to find some crystals, tarot cards and whatever else I could find. The shop itself was nice, and they do have a variety of selections. The atmosphere and vibe was way off. I got stares, nobody seemed friendly or even welcomed and greeted. The lady at the register with short hair just sat there and stared me down. There was a group of people at a table, who were loud and obnoxious when there was suppose to be readings that day. I only got one crystal that I really needed and won't be going back. I loved how they had candles to honor the Orishas, Agua de Florida, herbs, shells & bells! They had a nice variety of tarot cards too however I didn't find a deck that spoke to me. Loved the little black cat that was nappin in there too! wish they had more statues of Oshun, Yemaya, etc but they did have a nice Egyptian collection that my lover was compelled to! Came by this place last week with my friend - so happy she brought me! It's a little difficult to find per my GPS (aka Waze) but it's in the back of Lee Hwy by the Peruvian Chicken place...PS the chicken place smelled super yummy (maybe another time) LOL The vibe when you first walk in is VERY inviting and peaceful. The lady working was so kind and helpful. There are tons of things to look at. They had jewelry (lots of beautiful jewelry - honestly beautiful!), stones, oils, candles, cards, books, clothes and a good selection of Tarot Card sets etc. etc. etc. I loved the choices she had for incense; the typical boxed incense you can find in most place (made in India), some other options (made in Vietnam) but my favorites were the ones by "Wild Berry" - they are a little more expensive but truly not by much and well worth it. They are handmade (USA) and have TONS of smells... I'm in love with Ocean Wind, Magic Garden, Fresh Rain and Egypt Cotton. The smells are so clean and burn really nicely! They even sell some of the scents in oil - I will be back again this week-end! Even if you aren't into anything hippy-dippy, new age or spiritual this is still a really cool place to check out. read more

This my favorite Spiritual Store in Northern Virginia and the DMV, I've been coming in here for years. It is about time I do a review. As a person that falls under the category of BIPOC, I appreciate everything the stores carries to help those journey on their respective spiritual path. Some other stores have not been as universal. The staff and patrons here are always helpful and give great advise when needed. Also if there is something you can't find keep going back u will either find it or something equivalent there. It is always great how the magnetic energy of the Universe works in this manner. The store also holds classes on various subjects and host various readers that can give you to further insight on your journey. Books, decks, crystals, herbs, candles, oils and more are there, just find what calls to you; and sometimes you might want to go just to hang out and soak up the loving environment.
