A memorable boat cruise on the Seine capped with a delightful dinner on the river while docked in front of the Tore Eiffel. I am glad I booked this river cruise as I truly enjoyed the whole experience, the food was alright, great presentation, if they could work on intensifying the flavors then it will be perfection but the experience itself nevertheless - seeing all of Paris's magnificent buildings and the architecture while cruising the river Seine is something that I will always remember. Again to reiterate, the inclusive 4 course dinner was ok, it's not bad and having the Eifel tower behind you while enjoying a glass of French wine truly for me was enough, it's the perfect night cap to end a long day in the city of lights. read more
As part of our Paris City pass, my partner, his family and I were able to take a scenic boat ride with Bateaux Parisiens docked at Eiffel Tower yesterday. This one hour tour took us down the Seine River past Notre Dame showing us various historic buildings and under bridges. This gave us a layout where most visited places are and how to plan the rest of our visit. Bonne journée à tous. read more
Just pronouncing the name of a tour company takes work and research. And we've seen frustrated road-weary couples and families travel 5000 miles to fuss over a few euros, travel directions and blistered feet. On your second or third day in the city, save your strength, energy and patience to reserve a Seine River lunch tour. The high quality service, food, and views are worth the pampering. You'll purchase it online a day ahead, of course and show your saved e-voucher. The difference in price indicates your window proximity with views and menu accoutrements. The staff throws down a pretty good four course lunch menu for over 300 guests in two hours which is very organized and impressive. This includes ample wine and coffee. Will you get a better meal off the boat for less $/€? Sure, but deal with cigarette smoke and let us know how that was. The really great quality musicians on board and our server was hustling the entire time. You'll get enough attention to leave a tip. You'll get a photographer to take a 15€ photo, but Vive le France! read more

mediocre food (the haddock was bland and duck breast was u remarkable with cheap mashed potato). the music was okay but amplified it sounded like the radio, and liter put my wife to sleep. wish we had done something else our last night in Paris. I recommend doing a cruise but eating in a nice restaurant like Tren Bleu. read more
We treated a friend to a birthday dinner cruise & it was so much fun! I picked a table by the window & ordered a birthday cake for him which came out at the end with a big sparkler candle on top. Food was good (not the best I've ever had, but can't complain). This is a great thing to do as a gift or a special treat when you have guests in town. read more

Do this on your first day in Paris! My family and I went on this sightseeing cruise (without dinner) for 1 hour, and enjoyed it. For $17 USD/person you can cruise along the Seine River and see the major highlights like the Eiffel Tower, Musee D'Orsay, and Notre Dame Cathedral. There's also live commentary including several different languages. Because it was so cold the day that we went, the interior of the boat was warm and had an additional audio guide you can access from your phone or next to your seat. I'd recommend that the cruise to our friends, and we just found our own dinner afterwards! read more
We had a great dinner cruise with our party of 10. The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was impeccable. There were three courses, starter, main course and dessert. The cruise also included a bottle of wine for 2, or each person could choose juice, soft drinks, water, etc... There were at least 4 choices per course. For the starter I chose the chicken and dried plum terrine in pastry crust with a pear geliee. This is a cold appetizer and was very good. They also had leek and potato soup with smoked fish, and another choice was prawns in this wonderful sauce on top of cream. My app was really, really good. Second course I chose the soy glazed pork belly with potato gratin... absolutely fabulous. Some other choices were chicken supreme, a veal choice and pan fried salmon. I tasted most of the others and preferred mine the most. It was succulent and delicious. All the others were good also, just preferred mine. For dessert I chose the Pot of Hazelnut cream with a wonderful crumble and some other stuff I can't remember. Finished off with some good French coffee, this was the perfect ending. The best dinner cruise experience in Paris! Bateaux Parisiens exceeded all expectations, from the dining experience to service. The 1.5 hour dinner cruise started at 6pm and departed near the Eiffel tower and made it's way east past the Notre Dame Cathedral. The menu is a pre-fixed 3 course meal where you can choose from several items per course. My wife and I were given a full complimentary bottle of red wine, which was a perfect pairing with the meal. Coffee and dessert to conclude the dining experience, whilst soaking in some incredible views of the city. Definitely a must do in Paris with your significant other - Best, Charlie read more
This review is of the lunch cruise with Bateaux Parisiens. The lunch cruise is truly the best way to experience the Seine in Paris and was one of the main highlights of our trip. The cruise isn't so much of a sightseeinf cruise in the way that someone is explaining the entire history of everything, instead there is a prerecord audio that occasionally points out the sights. There is an info card provided with the menu for your review. Onboard there is a live singer who serenades the crowd. Her voice was amazing and she really works the entire boat sothat everyone is able to enjoy her music. The food included several courses. We started with rosé and bread. We had to request butter, it wasn't served. The second course was a salad followed by our entrees and then a cheese course and finally dessert. The portions were huge. They did top pesto on the shrimp so I had to send that back but our server brought out a replacement in record time. Each course was served with accompanying wine. Our server was a really amazing man named Twi. He was super attentive and humorous. He was also generous and helped to make our time spent on the cruise memorable. The lunch cruise is definitely the way to go. It is identical to the dinner cruise except you can actually see the surroundings instead of sailing in the dark. This is a MUST while in Paris. Do not skip!! I will be doing this again on my next visit. read more

My review is for the one hour sightseeing cruise with audio commentary. It was ok, but most of the audio commentary headsets did not work, and the commentary through your phone wasn't much better. Eventually one of the crew announced a few of the sites manually, but it was inadequate. Get a better cruise. read more

Being that this is the City of Lights, what better time to do this cruise than at night. It's an hour boat ride that starts and ends at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. You can book your tickets in advance for a minimal discount but if you want to be flexible, I suggest buying it at the counter when you get there since there are trips almost every half hour. No need to rush. Prices are €15 for adults and €7 for children ages 4-11. I would come early if you want to pick good seats on the upper deck. Sitting at the very front or very back would be nice to avoid folks standing in front of you taking pictures. Bring a bottle of wine and some snacks to make this experience more enjoyable. It was such a treat taking in beautiful views of the city from the Seine River. It's a totally different perspective especially with all the bridges and buildings lit up. Sitting on the lower deck has its perks. It's less crowded, covered, near the bar, and you will hear the audio tour. I wish you could also hear the audio from the upper deck. It's a simple no frill boat ride you should definitely consider when you're in Paris. You can choose to include dinner but what for when you can dine somewhere else with better food in the city. read more
The boat ride I did was part of the Paris pass. This is really decent for a boat tour. It was an hour long and getting the tickets took about 15 minutes due to a line. If you do not buy the Paris pass, then I would suggest looking at multiple companies. This way you can see all the options plus some options include dinner or drinks boat rides. This is a huge boat and was pretty full, but it was comfortable seating. While in Paris, do a boat ride. The views are great from the water. They do a great job with the audio sets to get a feel of what you are passing and a bit of history of Paris. My favorite part was passing all the bridges with beautiful sculptures and art. There are more than 30 bridges in the city and each is detailed and fun to look at. All in all, worth the hour.~ read more
I went on my first true Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise in July. This was my second experience with Bateaux Parisiens this summer. Both experiences were excellent! The first was a cruise with my students. We enjoyed a 3 course meal in the "restaurant" and were then moved to a boat for the boat ride. It was very nice though it was hard to hear information while in a boat full of people. The food was very good, and everyone was pleased. The second trip was for a dinner cruise with a friend. It was fantastic! We were seated at a table with a great view of the Seine and monuments we would pass. We started with a champagne cocktail, and an hors d'œuvre. We then selected our Entree, main dish and dessert. I had the salmon for the entree, steak for dinner and the chocolate cake for dessert. All were perfectly prepared, and delicious. The entree was served with white wine, and the main dish with red. We definitely had everything we needed for a good time! I would highly recommend a Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise-it's well worth the price, and you get back just in time to get your picture in front of the Eiffel Tower lighting up! read more

We did the lunch cruise (2 adults, 1 child). The setting is beautiful! The service was a 4 out of 5 The food was a 3.5 out of 5 ( nothing specifically for children to eat ... same menu) The setting was a 5/5 The experience, overall, was worth it! read more
What a great time! We did the dinner cruise of the Seine. We booked the front of the boat, premium, with the birthday package. We were a little disappointed with the table we were originally given, we weren't right at the front, but more to the side, and not by the window! We asked to be moved and were moved to a window seat and were pleased with that table. The service was a little slow, we had to keep asking to have our wine refilled (we would have done it ourselves but our bottle was in the same bucket as 2 other tables and we didn't know which was whose). Otherwise, the food was excellent. We had a delish cold asparagus soup Amuse-bouche. They had vegetarian, meat, and fish dishes. We were very happy with our food. There was a live singer who was excellent, and near the end of the evening, she came and sang my husband happy birthday. Overall, it was quite nice and we would gladly do this again read more

A 100% tourist thing to do while in Paris BUT an absolute must do in my opinion. You are in the city of love after all! This is a perfect romantic night out. I would definitely not suggest this as a family outing. We knew when we got to Paris we wanted to do some kind of river cruise. There are so many choices with different prices and departure locations. We chose this one because our hotel concierge suggested it and they left from right near the Eiffel Tower (and our hotel). We were able to make same day reservations without an issue. You can book online but we had our concierge call for us. Everything from food to service was amazing! I really wasn't expecting a good meal but our food was delicious. We also didn't realize the service we booked gave us champagne and two bottles of wine! We chose to sit near the windows. You will pay more for these seats over the middle of the boat seats. After seeing the inside of the boat, you really can't get a bad seat. Definitely a fun, romantic thing to do while in Paris. read more

So what if it's a tourist trap? This was FUN. A very Paris booze cruise with sophisticated dining and lots and lots of wine. Pre departure, we received a glass of bubbly, then they took our orders. They had menus in nearly every language which was a great help. I really enjoyed all of the dishes served, except the cheese course. I'm sure it was great, I'm just not into super soft cheese. There was live entertainment, and since we took this cruise on the first day, we were able to gauge the locations of things in the city so we knew where to walk the days after. Live music on board, yummy food, clean bathrooms and very easy to find the dock. Loved it! read more
A must do while in Paris. We planned this cruise around our last day in Paris before heading to the train to London. That way, we'd be definitely full, a bit intoxicated and ready for a nap. The service was great. Super attentive and quick with anything we needed. I swear each course came with an entire bottle of wine. Yes, you heard me right- the entire BOTTLE. Not just a glass. When the waiter noticed I stopped drinking wine and requested a coke, he was nice enough to bring me a baby carafe of coke. Bonus points for him! The food was delicious as well. Timing was great with so many different diners at different places in their meal. The couple next to us were a step ahead since they had boarded a little before us. So more brownie points for our waiter for keeping t All in all, it's pricey so I get that. But think about it as a paid entry fee for a tour. Most places run like $40 just to enter. The cruise along the River was beautiful and also passing Notre Dame right after the fires has taken place was just idk how to explain it. Then add a full blown multi-course meal with all the wine you could drink and you've got this tour. I know when I was looking dinner was even more expensive which is why we compromised on a window seat (upgrade) but at lunch time. read more

As this trip was my first to Paris I wanted to explore it all VIP style. I booked most excursions through Expedia so it made things much easier since I was traveling with my 6 year old (now 7). For the experience you select your meal in advance which is great for people that may not be able to read a French menu. This way there are no surprises and they have many different options including vegetarian, which I selected. I thought the dinner cruise would be the perfect way to see Paris at night! Also being a foodie I really wanted to a dinner cruise instead of an ordinary boat ride. The dock was easy enough to find using an Uber from our hotel. We arrived in plenty of time to walk the short distance to the boat and stand outside so I could have 1 last cigarette before we boarded. The dock was a bustling with cars and people on a perfect spring evening. There was a line boarding but it moved rather quickly. We had the skip the line so we were seated rather quickly. Our waiter came over immediately and poured me a glass of champagne and I couldn't have been happier. We had seats next to the window and took a million pics as we waited for the remaining passengers to board. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! We saw all of Paris as the sun was setting. Being there only a few weeks after Notre Dame caught fire it was awesome to see the scaffolding already up and work beginning on this historic landmark. Of course Paris did not disappoint with the views and the service was top notch. We met lovely people sitting around us including a couple from Texas. The music was great, I even grabbed my son for a little dance towards the end of the evening when a few other people got up to dance. I would have given this experience 5 but I was not that crazy about the food. Don't get me wrong, the food was better than food in the States but I wasn't thrilled with my meal. I wonder if I had selected a different dish if it would have been better. It was fresh, beautifully presented and tasted good, it just didn't curl my toes. The wine was delicious and was paired perfectly for each course. I would recommend this experience for anyone looking for a VIP evening out. read more
I really enjoyed my lunch cruise with Bateaux Parisians. Check in was quick and easy and we boarded on time. We paid a bit extra for window seats and it was worth it. Unfortunately, it rained during the entire cruise. But I was able to make the best of the situation and took pictures anyway lol. The menu had variety and the food was average..not necessarily a bad thing. The service was spectacular and the best we had during our entire time in Paris. The live singer was the best. She sung a variety of songs and her personality really shined during each song. I'd love to experience a night cruise and even another lunch cruise (minus the rain). read more
If you are on a budget to see Paris, this is a must. We got the Paris city pass and was worth it being able to see Paris from the boat tour. They explain things we are seeing and little odds and ends. Seeing the same monuments from a boat view verse the bus view is pretty cool, get different chance to take water level view. It can get a bit windy, but worth it. I did really enjoy this tour. read more

If you're in Paris, this is a must do. We decided on the lunch cruise with live music since we had already booked a private evening tour in a vintage car. Everything on this lunch cruise was perfect. The views of all of the landmarks, the impeccable service, and the food very good. We booked the table for two with a view. In my opinion, this is the way to go, as you are seated directly by the window with no one obstructing your view. We were greeted with champagne in a lounge area when we arrived, and were able to socialize with other travelers until boarding time. We received a warm welcome from staff and were boarded and seated on time. It was an overall great experience. Romantic and memorable, especially when the live singer went around to our tables singing "La Vie En Rose." It was magical! We would definitely take this tour again when in Paris. read more
Some friends and I booked this excursion for vacation in April. We loved it! We were pretty bummed that we didn't get to see the city at night but our 6pm dinner cruise was nice! It was $80 a person. 4 course meal. Worth every dollar spent. I wish the ride was a bit longer than an hour and a half but it was nice. I wish we knew it was casual dress, we were in dresses and heels and there were people in jeans. A bit overdressed but we didn't care The beef dinner was very good, we really enjoyed every course we had. The view was amazing it was really nice to see all the architecture along the river. The servers were very nice and helpful when choosing from the dinner options. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting Paris. Night or Day would be perfectly fine! read more

We took this cruise at 10pm on our last night in Paris and it was the highlight of the trip! Floating by the Catedral de Notre Dame de Paris while gorgeous pipe organ music plays.... Chills! We noticed many people sitting by the Seine drinking wine and relaxing. It was finally dark enough for the Eiffel Tower to light up around 10:30pm. At 11pm, it started twinkling. Our boat was positioned for the perfect view. What an amazing experience! read more

Here is the list of the best foods: Starter : Bourguignon-Style Snails .. if you don't like snails choose the Scallops (it needs a little salt but a great second option) Main Course: roast sea bass (this reminds me of a New Orleans étouffée) you will love, so hearty and flavorful Upgraded cheese option is ok but not necessary. Dessert: BOSTOCK BRIOCHE is excellent .. I almost licked the bowl. The best second option is Exotic Mango (it has a refreshing mango flavor) Ask for Raeed he was very knowledgeable and was right by our side to get us anything we need. Definitely recommend this dinner cruse- come early if you get the Etoile Service so you can get a window seat. There is 1 bottle of wine per table .. we chose red and enjoyed it .. also 1 glass of champagne is provided. read more

We did a lunch tour leaving from the bridge near the Eiffel Tower on the last day of our visit in Paris. For the cost per person (about $55 U.S.) this was such an amazing experience. We had a reserved table, 3- course delicious meal, a sparkling wine, white wine, and a bottle of red. There was some narration of what we were seeing and live entertainment. It was the only way we could see Notre Dame after the fire. This was worth every single penny spent and more! Do it!!!! read more
