Florida rain isn't rare, but when travelling here for a weekend, it can be a downer (no pun intended). We googled something with bottomless brunch near by our hotel just to get out of the rain, and found this little gem. We arrived at 10:30am, and although the restaurant doesn't open until 11:30, the kind staff allowed us to get seated early (we had a cranky 3 year old with us as well). The food was delish and the mimosas kept flowing! I would have loved to check this place out for Sunday Funday as it has a great vibe. read more

I only went here for beer, not food. It's a bar attached to a Hampton Inn, near the line, and near a lot of stuff so good location for meeting friends. Each table had a keg built into it which we were excited about but we learned from our waiter than none of them worked and they just sat there. That sucked just because it was in the middle of your table so blocked the ability to see people on the other side due to it's size. And we couldn't even use it! The beer I got was good but the options I felt were lacking, they didn't have simple bar beer like Miller Lite. The place was packed and made service hard (the table keg would've fixed that), the staff was nice, the bathrooms dirty, but my company was great. Average place so I gave it 3 stars. read more

Very good. Came here today for lunch and I was impressed. I like the menu and the atmosphere. Cool place to grab drinks or watch a game. I ordered the fried chicken sliders with fries. I thought it tasted good and was reasonably priced at $10. Will be back again. read more

I went to Batch last weekend with a group and unfortunately had the worst experience of our 3 days in town. Our waitress barely spoke to us and seemed annoyed by our presence, never came to check on us once food was served and never refilled water or asked if we wanted more drinks or other food/desserts. Not once. Never asked how things tasted or if we needed anything else. Our checks came, she took our cards, jumbled them in the holder and 30 min later came back asking us to sort them again after stating that WE messed it up. There were discrepancies with the charges on those and we simply asked for it to be explained, not complaining about the totals necessarily. Drinks and apps were on the wrong checks but to avoid anymore time spent there, we just Venmo'd each other. One girl provided cash and did not get correct change back. No apology after it being addressed. It just left a very yucky taste in our mouths and we're not hard to please. The food was just ok and we most definitely would not return or recommend to friends and family. Especially after the manager stating "have a nice night" and walking away in the middle of us trying to explain our experience. read more

I arrived to Batch on time with a reservation and my service dog. I was told I needed to choose between a table in the corner (facing the wall) and an outdoor table (it was humid). I asked to be seated at a better table when I was told that the other tables were reserved. I mentioned multiple times that I too had made a reservation and specifically to watch a fight that was being shown. I went back and forth with the manager and hostess until my server was able to better accommodate me. Service animals are supposed to be treated as a wheelchair in establishments. BTW - the food was trash. There's only 6 options for appetizers & entrees on the menu? We ordered truffle fries which came out without any truffle and a bunch of random seasoning/un-melted mozzarella cheese. I dont know who the douche running this place is, but there's way better places in Miami to spend your money. HARD PASS. read more

Best pork chop ever. Seasoned well, moist, great flavor & nice portion. Excellent. Side dishes were great also. Terrific happy hour too. Wish I were in the area more often read more

The environment this past Sunday to watch the NFL games was fun; however, this review is based off of the cleanliness of Batch. My brother and I ordered several pints of El Jefe. The beer tasted normal for the most part, but it wasn't sitting well. We both got sick less than an hour after we left and had to go to the urgent care. Either the draft lines or the beer pints in this place are disgusting and will make you sick...beware. read more

Visited Batch Gastropub for dinner and to watch the game on Thursday evening. To drink I ordered a few draft beers, and for food we selected the Bavarian Pretzel Bites, Boneless Buffalo & Blue Chicken Wings, and Mac Attack, which were all on the limited Irma menu. Quality As a gastropub, Batch definitely puts some extra effort into its food that a typical sports bar may not. Unfortunately the hurricane left a limited menu, but the food we ordered was still pretty tasty. My favorite item was the Bavarian Pretzel Bites, soft pretzel pieces that came with beer cheese and a special formula mustard. Although I would have probably liked the cheese warmer, it made for a great bite. I was a bit worried when the Boneless Buffalo & Blue Chicken Wings came out because they did not look great. However, the chicken was tender and the sauce was solid. Only the carrots and celery were bad, but very excusable considering the limited fresh food supply at the time. The Mac Attack, while not my favorite mac and cheese, was a very fun interpretation. Heavier gnocchi surrounded by gruyere cheese and topped with a crunchy topping made for an interesting twist on the classic. I found it rich and almost too much, especially after already eating a bunch of other food and beer, but my girlfriend seemed to love it. Quantity The two of us ended up sharing three dishes that I would categorize as appetizers and we left more than satisfied. A few beers added on definitely help out on that front as well. Value Expect to pay more for food and drinks here than at a typical sports bar. But at the same time expect a larger variety of beers and higher quality eats. They also have happy hour and all sorts of other specials that run throughout the week and during games. Ambiance Batch is located in Brickell, about two blocks over from the central Mary Brickell Village. It is a sports bar, but it focuses on higher quality food, beer, and cocktails. It also can't help but incorporate the flavor of Miami, with many tables and a bar counter that glow different neon colors. They have a small covered outdoor patio, but the majority of seating is found inside. They have a massive bar in the center of the indoor space and then tons of other seating weaving throughout the remainder of the large area. A unique aspect of Batch is even if you are not at the bar they have taps set up on many tables and high tops which allow you to pour your own draft beers or draft cocktails. It seems a little silly to me, but in the past I have seen some people very excited about it. Televisions are spread across the bar with a large screen towards the back and a concentration directly above the bar. During the game they played the commentators audio in the background, but had a DJ ready to put on jams during the commercial breaks. This is only when bigger games are on or crowds form, usually you will just find music on. Crowd Batch always tends to have a crowd, especially when football is on. I believe it is gameday central for UF alumni, so be aware of that when looking for a spot on Saturday. But it is definitely more than just a sports bar and different things like brunch, draft cocktails, and gourmet food tend to diversify a sports heavy crowd. Service The bar was definitely understaffed when I visited, but it earns a pass because of the situation. The bartender was definitely doing his all, but he was responsible for a nearly full bar and that is no easy task for a single individual. Parking When it comes to Brickell, if you can avoid bringing a car that is your best option. Street parking is limited and parking lots and garages tend to overcharge. The bar is super close to the metro or you can always use a ride sharing service. Extra Even with the limitations due to the recent hurricane, I still had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at Batch as I have had many times in the past. It is an easy going sports bar with enough televisions to allow many games to be shown. The prices are a little higher, but the quality matches it. I will certainly be back again, likely during football season. read more

Really great spot in Brickell, I had the chili wings and truffle fries which were both great. The truffle fries came with like a creamy acv sauce which I'm always a fan of the sauce. I've had the gnocchi mac n cheese before too and its also a great pic, just a little heavy though. What brought us here is their ladies night on Friday, I think starting at 10 ladies get to drink for free which is amazing to find anywhere in Miami! read more

Batch is the perfect place for happy hour, to catch a game, and for brunch. TVs galore for all the sports fans. A great menu to keep you feed. And a beer and booze list extensive enough to make anyone happy. Even better are the bartenders like Jose (the best) who keep up the fun conversation, learn your name, and make sure you're never empty! A Brickell best! read more

I met up with a couple of friends for brunch here and had a nice time! I had the chicken & waffles because they looked so good in the pictures I've seen. They were good, not the best ever, but good. I think the best part of my meal was the service though; the place was pretty packed but my server, Giani, was awesome! So sweet and patient and tentative!! I think I'd come again, just not for brunch. read more

The place is intimate and feels great!! The food is absolutely amazing! We ordered the burger, wings, truffle fries, and more. All the flavors were spectacular!! What sets this place apart from all the rest is the tap self service at the individual tables. Great concept! However, the tap service is not calibrated correctly and there are over charges on drinks that you don't even purchase or drink. We were using the beer tap and were charged for shots on the liquor taps. When we discussed this with the owner, Kevin Danilo, he was convinced that his machines were not wrong and would not take the shots off our tab. We ended up paying an extra $30 in alcohol that we did not drink. Because of this and the fact that Kevin would not adjust our bill, WE HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT GOING TO THIS PLACE!!!! Great service but awful owner!! He was accusatory and challenged us to testing the machine. Not only did we not drink alcohol charged but the beer that did come out of the tap was warm and full of foam!!! If you go to this place, go for the food and ask to have your drinks served. Don't drink the beer because they do not know how to serve a cold beer. You will get it warm regardless if its served from the bar or at the table. Thank you, KEVIN DANILO, for your amazing service and accommodations!! Shayne Black 714.483.6641 We look forward to being invited back to your restaurant! read more

I live pretty close to this place and have been twice before. The first time we went for dinner was pretty decent. Food was average except for the duck nachos which were awesome. Then I went for beer and football with some friends on Sunday which was fun. But recently I went for brunch with some friends. Both the service and food were pretty bad. The waitress messed up 3 out of 4 of our orders. The second time one dish wasn't right again. The brunch food was pretty mediocre once we finally got our correct food. The only saving grace was the perfectly spicy bloody marys. I wish this place was a little better because of its proximity and atmosphere, but I think I'd just stick to Batch for beer and bar snacks on game day and that's it. read more

Well, after my 1st failed attempt with this restaurant. The owner was nice enough to apologize and sent a replacement meal (at no charge). I got my Mac & Cheese Gnocchi and they're freaking awesome! I am glad to have returned here after a disappointing experience 2-3 weeks ago. I was promptly greeted by Rebekah, who proved to be a champ at customer service. This time I never had an empty glass in front of me and the service was friendly and periodic. Truth be told: I was relaxing after a harsh day by bsing with my cellphone; however, she found the right balance of service and privacy. Thanks to the Yelp Check-In I received a free flight of Shock Top's delicious pretzel-flavored beer! (Such a treat!) I tried the Grouper Tacos this time since it was Taco & Tequila Tuesday. The three tacos were accompanied by a bean/corn salad and both were light -yet bland- for my taste. The cooking team seems to have room for improvement. I recommend this place for drinking and snacking. They still have to work on the "gastro" part of the pub. read more

The food here is awesome, my favorite is the chicken wings with Nashville hot and the chili glaze with the dorito dust is pretty good too! Being Mother's Day I knew things were going to take longer then normally. But the food was awful. Being a server In the past I never return food, but the steak and eggs here were the worst I've ever had. The "ribeye" steak was horrible. Straight charred fat no beef. Not to mention the eggs were barely cooked. The blueberry basil mojito was straight juice and my moms eggs Benedict had to be returned because they were no where near cooked. Luckily our servo uyo was understanding and very embarrassed for how the food came out. read more

I hate to write negative reviews, but I feel this one is warranted. A group of our friends decided to go out together for the first time since restaurants began reopening. It was a group of 7 of us. We made reservations online for 8 pm and decided we would eat dinner and then stay for trivia/video games afterwards (advertised on social media). When we arrived we were told we would need to sit in two separate tables, which we understood, as the COVID guidelines don't allow more than 6 people at a table. Before we sit we are told we have an hour and a half limit in the restaurant. What?? Our group came from very far from different parts of the city to get together- Kendall, North Miami. We had already paid for parking across from the restaurant and this totally put a wrench in our plan. Hour and a half limit is not advertised anywhere on the website or social media, where Batch is screaming from the rooftops that they are the only open late spot in Brickell. We assumed since they are advertising being open late, we would be allowed to stay late. I asked the hostess if this would apply even if we kept ordering and she stated yes. At this point I asked her what is the point of being open until 5 am if customers can't stay more than an hour and a half to which she replied "to accommodate other customers." Mind you, it was 8:30 at this point and the restaurant was nearly empty. Also, I can't imagine anyone showing up to Batch to start drinking at 2-3 am. We decided to take our business somewhere else that wouldn't rush us out as soon as we finished eating. Ended up at Barsecco and remained there for four hours without being rushed. Needless to say our entire group was annoyed as we had to entirely change our plans. This is a bad approach and if management wants to enforce it, it should be posted on social media and website for transparency. read more

So I came here for the bottomless and one sip of it I cancelled my entire order My appetite was ruined so I informed the hostess who then informed the waitress who was understanding as I was leaving some guy who name I did not catch tells me I have to pay and Bc I ordered and I advised him no sir I cancelled it and he said you still have to pay and I said no sir I'm not bc I don't want nothing here he said well we cooked your food I then advised him that I canceled prior to you delivering so it's not my fault the staff did not advise the kitchen.. bottom line not a great experience at all.. the guy called the police bc I did tell him to and the cops told him he can not charge me for the food but for the mimosas which I told the cops I would pay for and they agreed. In the long run I did NOT PAY FOR FOOD BUT I DID FOR my mimosas which I was so cool with since it was my suggestion. Try to avoid this pace at all cause!! There are other places in the area. I'm not a racist I date interracially but i think the manager was racist.. ONCE AGAIN I WAS THE ONE WHO ADVISED THE MANAGER TO CALL COPS AND I PAID FOR MY DRINK AND NOT MY FOOD AND AS THE POLICE ADVISED I WAS NOT LIABLE TO PAY FOR A MEAL THAT WAS CANCELLED AND THAT I DID NOT CONSUME read more
