This was recommended to us by the hotel we were at and I am severely disappointed. The food was poor, the cost was high, and the service was slow. Hey, he ordering process took nearly twenty minutes with an almost empty restaurant. Once our orders were placed the food took an additional fifteen minutes for even appetizers to arrive. Then ten minutes after that only three of a party of nine got served. A little less than ten minutes later everyone but one person had gotten their food. It took close to fifteen minutes before my cousin received his food as it was brought to the wrong table. Members of the party complained about food being excessively hot (this, however, is understandable) while others were complaining of their food being too cold. Many agreed that the food contained too much salt and was overall unsatisfactory. There was also a consensus that the menu did not accurately describe the food items served. Personally, I was indifferent about my meal which should not be the case considering the cost. The food price was excessively high and it was not reflected in the quality of the food. Overall, I would not go back to this restaurant and I would advise you not to as well. read more

Second time here and it was just as great as the first. Great consistency with menu and service. If you have the pleasure of having Maria as bartender consider yourself lucky! The rest of the staff was on point as well. The hangar skewers were amazing as was the mac and cheese. Any form of sliders as well. Highly recommend! read more

We were wandering around and trying to decide where to get lunch on our last full day in Miami. I had been craving a burger for a few days, so we opted to come here. I'm going to start off by saying the service was shockingly slow considering we were on the patio with one other table and I could see that other than a handful of people at the bar, there was only one table seated inside. So, not many people, a whole bunch of staff running around, and somehow we waited FOREVER to get waters, another forever to place our orders, another forever to get our food, and another forever to get our check. Thankfully, I had my card out and ready to give to the server the second our bill came. There was no way we were going to sit there another 20 minutes waiting for the server to even take our payment. My brisket burger was pretty good. It wasn't the best burger I've ever had (I'm not a HUGE fan of brisket burgers), but it wasn't disappointing. My husband got pulled pork shepherd's pie and he definitely won the "order the right thing" competition. I don't even eat pork and I would say his dish won. So, despite having pretty great food overall, the service here definitely was a letdown. Not sure I'd return because of that... read more

The Mac Attack & pulled pork sliders were DELISH!!! Our server, Marcus, was fantastic! I asked if he had any recommendations for family friendly activities in the area. He had a couple suggestions & came back a few minutes later with a list - super nice of him! Great atmosphere, great food, great service - highly recommend!!! read more

Batch Gastropub - American Near Me - Miami, Florida

It's a pretty place, but kinda fake feeling. It's attached to a hotel after all. The server was pretty nice, but the food was pretty blah. Nothing to write home about, just enough to write Yelp about. Flat line. read more

The owner Kevin reached out to me right after my experience & apologized whole heartedly about my experience. He assured me this was not the norm and offered to make it up to me. I could tell he was sincere & said I was willing to give them another shot. It took a few weeks , but I went back today with some friends of mine. I have to say Kevin went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience. The service was good, drinks were great & food was exceptional. Not many establishments in SFL will try and make up for their mistakes, so I commend them for it. I will come back again because of your efforts. read more

One of the worst places in the Brickell area if not all of Miami. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! The manager completely ignored a long standing/credit card reserved reservation because of a soccer game (Colombia vs Chile) that seemed endless. The person who was supposed to be our server for the party was very upset that our/her table was just given away. Our party was standing up waiting for our "reserved table" for almost 2 hours. The manager could not have cared less. He did not seem like he had very much experience in management or customer relations. He was very concerned about the game and checking out certain patrons as they were passing by. The place was unruly and messy. The Brickell area has so many well done and classy places to go, choose ANY OTHER PLACE WITHIN A 5 mile radius and you will thank me. This place was VERY TRASHY and is a typical Miami SCAM TOURIST TRAP bar that serves you cheap liquor even when you try to order top shelf. THE FOOD IS ALSO HORRIBLE!!!!! SALT SALT SALT . One positive was that our waitress when she finally got our party seated she was very quick and efficient, but that was no help from her manager. The hostess was actually keeping things calm with the crowds very well, and also helped our waitress very much when we were finally seated. Great team work ladies. Kudos to the waitress and hostess. They should re-train the rest of the staff. The response from management is a great reflection of a total lack of hospitality education. Spend your money anywhere else. read more

Attempted to have lunch and watch football. We walked in and said we will probably sit at the bar. The hostess responded with "well the whole restaurant is reserved so that is your only option". I'm sorry how were we supposed to know the whole restaurant was reserved? We had heard good things about this spot but after the attitude of the hostess and the fact that the entire restaurant was empty but we weren't able to sit anywhere we will not be back. read more

After reading the reviews on Yelp, I was excited to try Batch last night. The cocktails were amazing! I will definitely be back, especially since Batch is practically in my backyard. However, I have to say that I was less than impressed with the truffle fries that I ordered. Within literally one minute of the order being placed, the fries arrived at my table. Clearly, the fries were not cooked to order, but had been sitting under a warmer for a while! Now, I didn't complain because I had a friend with me, and quite frankly we were just wanting something to snack on while we chatted. But seriously though, I could have gotten better fries from Wendy's around the corner. So, the next time I go to Batch (and I will be back) I will request that the fries be made fresh. read more

Wow. Poor service. Received a DIRTY glass cup. Non-welcoming place. The servers were no help either. Waited almost 1 hour for my ticket to close out. Food was good but will not go back to a place that has dirty cups, dishes etc. and poor customer service. read more

This review is based on two visits to this establishment. Both times I had very good service, the atmosphere is typical of a bar/sports lounge. I've had the pizza here on two occasions and it is quite delicious. The selection of craft beer is pretty decent. The one of a kind Pecan Jameson is insanely amazing and delicious. They offer the Pecan Jameson on draft at certain tables and if you feel adventurous you can buy a whole bottle of it. The setup is not bad, there is an open seating area when you first walk up to the bar. Inside there is enough seating for large and small groups. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, pretty much every beer is $7.00 for a craft draft or bottle. I would recommended this place has a friendly hangout or even a first time date. read more

Went in during lunch. I got a margarita pizza which was yummy. A little over cooked. I also got an appetizer for free I got the hummus and pita chips which were also pretty yummy. It's not extraordinary it's just pretty good read more

It was the first time here for most of our party and we didn't know what to expect. I liked that it was a low-key place and very casual with lots of big screens to watch various sports. The menu didn't have typical bar food, which is why we picked this place. A few of us ordered the gnocchi mac attack which is similar to mac and cheese but with gnocchi, instead of noodles. It was rather good, a little more liquid than I would have liked but the truffle oil made up for that. I also had a side of the seasonal vegetables. It could have used about 5 to 10 more minutes of cooking because the brussels sprouts were still on the hard side, so I give this dish a 2 our of 5 stars. However, my husband got the steak with potatoes and veggies, and he enjoyed his food very much. Our friends also enjoyed their entrees of tacos and the mac attack plus the giant cast iron cookie with ice cream for dessert. The food for me was 3.5 out of 5 but the atmosphere and vibe is a solid 4. They had reasonable prices and our server was nice and recommended several dishes, plus he seemed rather knowledgable. The hostess staff were also sweet and warmly greeted us and also addressed us as we left. I'd go back again. read more

Went tonight for taco Tuesday and was expecting way more from it than what I had heard about it. The service is great and the girls at the bar are fab, so that's why I'm giving them three stars. We waited an hour for fries and tacos. I know this a ridiculous time to wait for simple food being that I worked in the industry and its unfair to the servers because they are going to get snubbed from tips because of this. For waiting so long and patiently I would've at least expected a comp on our fries or something simple. We spent a good $80 + tip and left disappointed. Would I go back? Most likely not. Overall, great concept, decor and friendly bartenders but poor delivery in food. read more

Where to start.... I was very excited to try out this pub yesterday for brunch for my friends birthday. So many things went wrong with the service and the food. The food took an hour and a half to start coming to our table after we ordered. The food was cold and not flavorful. The food was overpriced for the value and portion size. The staff that waited on us were rude and expressed that they were annoyed with us. Bad customer service and bad, cold food. read more

This was a great spot for our group of 20. I ordered the elk burger here, which was quite good. They also have a good selection of thin-crust pizzas as well as beers on tap. The atmosphere is quite lively in the evening hours. They are trying to promote more nightlife/drinks at the bar, but with so many nightlife options in Miami that is a difficult task. A solid meal with a decent atmosphere -- definitely worked well with a large group, but nothing special. read more

This place looked promising but ultimately ended up being very disappointing. We had the pork belly, Mac gnocchi, and truffle fries. The pork belly chunks had a nice crispy skin and the flavor was good but it was more fat than actual meat. If they work out the proportion of meat and fat, it's a promising dish. It came with a pumpkin purée which was very bland, it seemed like it had come from a can and had not been prepared at all. Next, we had the Mac gnocchi. It had too many spices and not enough cheese. The chicken we had ordered to go in the Mac gnocchi was all dark meat and had skin, so the textures were not any good. The truffle fries were good but that's pretty hard to mess up. The drinks we ordered were also lack luster. I don't remember the name of the first drink we ordered but it was very sour. My friend ordered an old fashion that I didn't try but just by looking at it, I could tell it wasn't done probably. Instead of using one large monolithic ice cube, they used regular ice. They also added a cherry, which is unnecessary. Real old fashions don't have cherries. The decor is cheap and overall, to me, it just looks like a disguised chili's or some other generic chain restaurant. On a positive note, I thought the entire staff was really nice and cheerful. I also like that there are tables outside and very comfortable bars for watching sports. I think if they just get a good chef and good bartender, they'll improve tremendously. read more

My order is based off delivery; I've never eaten at the actual location. However, the delivery is nothing short of amazing. It's open late and there's no comparison to the other options in the late night category. Aside from that, food is high quality and tastes great. They use great ingredients and don't settle for cheap. Pizzas & truffle fries are outta this world. read more

Came here to watch the UFC fight and the Gators game happened to be on before. The place was packed so I had to wait about an hour for a table, understandable. When we finally sat down they would not serve us their special of the day for Jameson because the game was on. No where did it have a disclaimer about games or fights. But they still had it advertised all over the bathroom and table. Had the owner come to our table as well and tell us they couldn't serve us the special. They don't serve you as they advertise. Terrible customer service! Not to mention I spent $100 at the bar before even sitting down. To top it all off $15 drinks were served in tiny plastic cups I mean come on if I'm spending the money you better have a mug for my Moscow mule. Not coming back again. Very disappointed read more

I hadn't been here in a long time. Last time I was here was when it had just opened and I remember the food being good. I came back tonight in hopes that the experience would repeat itself, but it was quite the contrary. The sodas were flat, the truffle fries tasted like if they were cooked in Robitussin and the Mac & Cheese attack had 3 gnocchi's and it looked more like a cheese soup full of grease than a pasta dish. I was so disgusted by the entire experience, definitely never coming back here again. Sucks! read more

It's unfortunate bc the vibe here is great. The food is alright. The beef on the skewers we had were still rare. Not exactly my kind of beef. The truffle fries are good! The service absolutely blows though. We waited 20 min at a table as numerous servers walked by with not so much as a hi. I finally went up to the bartender who told me to have the host get us a server. I told him the host is the one who seated us. We finally got got our food almost an hour later. We won't be coming back. Service is a deal breaker. Especially when my friends who I came with have been here before and said the same thing about shitty service read more

Had the pulled pork Sheppards pie and it was disappointing. I wish I had ordered something else.

The best thing here is the big burger. The service always sucks. I wish the service was better.

Fun bar at night and pretty good food for appetizer after work The environment is away really nice.

Never coming back not worth the money or the drive. This place essentially is a bar with a dance floor right in the middle. The DJ was terrible! He was putting the group to sleep. This place is expensive for no reason. A pint of beer $7, cocktails $13 for a water down drink. The beer was not even cold. And our waitress was never to be found, she would check up on us after if been sitting there for 15 mins to get another drink. Never coming back, DEFINITELY not worth the money just go to Duffys always have excellent service there. read more

A group of friends and I went there last night for the BCS Championship game. The decor and place look great and once they get the big screens working it will be a great place to watch sports. Service: I had called earlier in the day to reserve a table for 10. When my party got there, they had lost my reservation and had to scramble to find a place for us to sit (the place was empty at the time) and took them close to 20 minutes to seat us. Seemed like a lot of people running around and very disorganized. Food: While the food we had was all good everything was priced about $2 or $3 higher than most similar places offering the same type quality dishes. The place must be careful with it's portions and pricing. $10 for 6 little wings?$6 Miller lites?! Charging $2 for ice in a scotch?! $9 for some shishito peppers? I really want make this a regular place for me to go, but right now this place is in danger of pricing itself from regular go to spot in Brickell to a special occasion place. read more

I was at Batch this Tuesday for Taco Tuesday night which is 15$ for all you can eat tacos and 5$ margaritas. The pork belly tacos are definitely my favorite! Been back here a few times since my last review (5 stars in Feb 2014), and it's only gotten better! We were impressed again last night by the incredible service we received from our waitress Leah and the manager. This is a restaurant that takes the dining experience seriously, and it shows. Atmosphere is really comfortable and welcoming, and all of our food was absolutely delicious. Really grateful to have Batch in Brickell! The food is really good, but the drinks are as bad as the service. I'm guessing they understaff because you can never find your server.

Overall my experience at Batch was pleasant. The drinks were good, the food was tasty, and the bathrooms were clean. I was extremely impressed by the mouthwash dispenser in the bathroom. The only problem I had with Batch is that their Nashville Hot Chicken wings were by no means hot, but that's not unexpected since we aren't in Nashville. Four out of five because it was good and worth the money, it just wasn't so impressive that I'll go back. read more

I'm very surprised at how bad the service this place provided. One would think that they would try to impress their customers in the first week, but the service was very slow and an lackadaisical. The staff got orders wrong, never stopped by to check on our drinks, and took ages to get our drinks when they finally got our orders. On the positive side, the location itself is pretty good. But I'm not going back anytime soon read more
