It was bumper to bumper traffic. This driver stopped on the middle of the highway parallel next to me with his blinker on blocking traffic behind him. As the traffic began to move so do I as I have been in this lane for already 20 mins waiting to exit and this driver began to merge into my lane as he was right next to me. He started to get into my lane parallel next to me. I blew my horn to alert the driver he is about to crash into me and he blew the horn aggressively back. He continued to merge into my lane causing me to swerve and almost hit the car in the lane to the right of me. He almost ran me off the road. I have called several times to Michelle and Laurie leaving them a message and I still have not gotten a single call back regarding this safety issue. I would not recommend this tour line as the drivers on their website states they've taken safety classes which is an obvious lie. They are not safe. They will drive you off the road not caring whether there are children in the vehicle or who they wreck into. I had my two 1 year old twins in the vehicle with me and they could have been injured if I wasn't driving safely and proactively against this aggressive bus driver from Gray Line bus tours. I will also be reporting to the better business bureau. This is a safety concern. Drivers are not allowed to stop in the middle of the highway and before merging lanes must be clear. This was NOT the case! Someone could have been injured but this reckless arrogant driver.

We rented this bus for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday party and it did not disappoint. Sound system was great as we rocked out to our personal Spotify playlist. Absolutely loved and utilized both stripper poles. Probably not wise considering all of us were in our 40s and 50s. Once in a while, you gotta toss caution to the wind and just go wild. They had plenty of water and ice on board and they greeted us with birthday balloons and a carpet for the birthday girl to enter the vehicle. There were only 10 of us along with a cooler that we brought and some food but it could've easily have accommodated 18 to 20. This business could not have been any easier to deal with. They responded to all of my questions timely, and sent pictures of the party bus when asked. Jacob Transportation, thank you so much for making our day absolutely memorable! Birthday girl was happy and so were we!

We had a 6:25 bus for a college aged family member to get back to NAU from down south. Checked the status before we left south Sierra Vista "On Time". Show up 6:00AM. 6:15... no bus. 6:20... no bus. Check the app: "On-Time". But this time we check the bus's location... "it's in El Paso?". No... that can't be right. The bus can't possibly be over 4 hours away. It says "on time" and we haven't gotten any delay notification. Call 1800 number. Get told it's on time. Call BS as it's already 10 minutes past pickup. Try again. Oh it's behind, you'll need to wait. How long? "We don't know." Then I got on the phone "Where is the bus?" "Oh my system just updated... it's 364 minutes behind schedule" my fellow yelpers: that's 6+ hours late... but multiple systems say it's "on time". They knew this bus was already 4 hours late before we left our house at 5AM. They chose not to tell us. Why? I'm guessing it's their refund policy. They won't refund unless a bus is more than 2 hours behind. If *you* reschedule or cancel before then: no refund. Even if you miss a connection. Even if you're going to sleep at a bus stop. They won't refund. And if you want a refund with the "agent" all they can do is give you a voucher. You want a real refund? You have to go online and "ask" for it and wait several days. I had to drive the family member to phoenix to catch another service. 8 hours of my day burnt. We are going to just go the small claims route. They can see us in middle of nowhere AZ justice court or we will take default judgement.

We appreciated the small, rather rugged, touring vans. That being said it is worth every shake and bump. CBX is a GREAT crossing. (I recommend staying in San Diego rather than Otay Mesa as there are very limited services, like restaurants, available.) TIJ is a beautiful, modern, efficient airport. LMM is also a fine airport and the guide(s) had us on our way in no time. The guide and drivers were knowledgeable, personable and professional. Full of details and history each excursion was a delight. Helpful and concerned, our guide followed up and worked through a medical emergency in the group. It was not a foodie experience. The included meals were adequate though uninteresting for the most part. We enjoyed the whole experience.

Below is my description by email to CCMS after the trip. Their response was I should have read the fine print which gives them the right to change anything on the trip. I want to clarify that a phone call was made 3 days before the trip and were assured that the travel days would be in a luxury tour bus with a restroom. I also want to clarify that every person on this trip complained about the van from day 1 until the end. From my email: The description of the trip clearly states that we will be traveling on a deluxe coach bus for the duration of our trip (except for train travel days). Instead of a deluxe coach bus we were traveling in a small Sprinter van with 15 people on the tour, a tour guide and a driver. It was crowded and very uncomfortable. Some of the seats didn't even have access to a window so these people were not even able to see the scenery. My husband, who is 6'3", couldn't fit his legs between his seat and the seat in front of us. He had to sit sideways with his legs in the aisle sometimes for 8 hours at a time. The Sprinter was also a very rough ride. All of the people who wore step trackers were "tracking" thousands of steps while sitting in the van due to the bouncing and rough ride. My personal best was 17,000 steps while never actually walking. Also, being in a small van versus a deluxe coach bus meant we didn't have access to a restroom. Of course, this was uncomfortable and stressful since we never knew when we would be stopping for a restroom break. Our guide was not proactive in planning stops. We normally had to ask and then it could be an hour or more before the stop was feasible. My husband and I had been planning this trip for years and were very excited. The travel in the Sprinter van basically ruined this trip for us. We were uncomfortable in the seats. Uncomfortable not having access to a restroom. Disappointed in the false advertising for the trip transportation descriptions. The group complained about the van from the very beginning of the trip. We were told the night before we were to leave that we would not have a bus but would be in this small van instead. As you can imagine, everyone was upset and was asking for answers to why this change had been made. We never received an answer but were given some vague promises of a deluxe coach bus being delivered to us somewhere along the route. Guess when this happened? On the very last day after we crossed the border. So we were on a bus (which was wonderful) for about 3-4 hours. I estimate we spent 40-50 hours in the van. Our tour guide also suggested that we "switch around seats" after stops. Why would this help? All the seats were horrible. All were uncomfortable. Every other tour group we crossed paths with had a deluxe tour bus including another CCMS tour group. It became a joke to stand beside other tour groups buses and talk about how wonderful their trip must be compared to ours.

FliXBus is a good option for getting to the PHX airport. When you buy a ticket you can hop on at any other scheduled stops on the way (UofA, Downtown). It makes a stop in Tempe and then the 44th Street Station. There is a rail line that takes you right to the terminals. The driver was on time, courteous. He didn't seem to have an issue with the drink and sounded like he encouraged it. My only complaint was that the motorcorach a[ppeared to be ready for a retrofit on the inside. It was not a branded bus and the FlLiXBots (see what I did there) let me know ahed of time. I am not sure what it is like leaving from PHX back to Tucson but worth a try as an affordable solution if the timing works with flights.
