But when I got home and tried it again it was a mess. I brought it to another tailor on Fulton and it fit fantastic when they were done with it. If you know exactly how you want your tailoring done this shop would likely be an OK option for you--the prices were fair, they are very friendly and the turnaround time as promised. If you're looking for guidance on fit you would likely have better luck elsewhere.

This shop is amazing! I brought three dresses to be altered. One had a beaded straps that needed…read morerepair and the owner fixed It to be stronger than It was made before. The other two dresses were a bigger task. One was a dress size 16 with a side zipper and the other polyester and size 14. She was able to bring both dresses down to a size 10 taking in about 6-8 inches on each dress. These dresses were hemmed and fit me perfectly to give a perfect shape. I feel comfortable and confident in these dresses that I was once drowning in. I am so happy with the work and the owner and her daughter are so kind. The work is done well, It is priced fairly and the family is wonderful! I will be bringing all of my alterations here in the future and you should too!
