I paid $200 for this dress to be hemmed completely uneven!!! Also was not ready by the discussed date on my ticket. Now I have to go get it fixed somewhere else with very little time. So upset. UPDATE: I brought this dress to be fixed by another tailor and he was absolutely beside himself over what was done to this dress!! If you are looking for a quick and inexpensive place, this is a great option. My coat was on the nicer side and needed a little more craftsmanship when altering and repairing. Pius did the job well but used the wrong color thread. In addition, when closing the lining, it was a very messy job. Details that you can only see when you look close but I paid good money for this and would have liked to bring it to someone who pays closer attention to detail. On the other hand, the short and pants I had him hem, perfect. I just wouldn't bring your nicer items. read more

Very sweet owner, and does great work. Unfortunately, he completely messed up the sleeve of my suit jacket and when I asked about it, he flat out lied, insisting it was originally like that (and that he didn't touch the sleeves). I ended up bringing it back to the suit store. They took one look at the sleeve and knew it had been tempered with. The seams no longer lined up and it was sewed shut in a way that didn't match any of the other suits in the store. My jacket sleeve had to be deconstructed and put back together. He did a great job on everything else, but I'm very disappointed that he didn't fess up to his mistake. read more

I am usually not one to leave bad reviews but after eagerly trusting the great reviews, I felt a need to warn others. I brought my dress to be taken in slightly a week ago. The owner told the cost would be $85 which felt high for the amount of work that would be required but I was willing to accept it for the level of exceptional service these reviews convinced me I would receive. The owner told me my dress would be ready the following Saturday but when I arrived on Saturday, the dress hadn't been touched. He told me to come back on Monday. When I came back to pick up my dress I had asked for a $10 discount considering the dress was 2 days late and I had to pay for additional Ubers on my wasted Saturday trip. The owner told me that he never promised Saturday and that he told me it would be ready by Monday. I pointed out the date written on the receipt and he argued that was only for his personal records. Not sure why the Saturday date was important for his personal records and meant something other than the promised pick up date? I am most disappointed in his inability to acknowledge the error on his end. I do not intend on coming here again and encourage you to consider these sub 5 star reviews when making your decision as well. read more

I was surprised at how inexpensive this rush job was, and I was happy with the way I was treated, so I provided a tip for his work. The next day I picked up my suit. Everything looked great! I had read previous reviews had wrong thread color or bad work, but that wasn't the case with my suit. Everything was clean and the threads matched well.
