Baskin Robbin's has some of the best ice cream in my opinion and on that front this location does not disappoint. I especially love the cherries jubilee and nutty coconut. My daughter loves trying a new flavor each time--most recently she had cotton candy and loved it. My mom is a devoted pralines n cream fan and my dad is a fan of butter pecan. The last two times we visited the employee was so sweet and friendly. Helpful, thoughtful, kind. Other employees have been lackluster but this woman is great. Kudos to her! Sorry I don't have her name. Now the space itself. This is where this location needs some serious, serious love. I don't think it's had a good deep cleaning in years. The bathroom is icky and the tables and chairs have served their time. Just needs an overall cleaning and updating badly. Badly. Really badly. oh my gosh. we stopped in last minute for ice cream and saw this little graham cracker honey comb concoction they've got going on and I knew she'd be mine. i got one scoop of oreo (a classic fave) and one scoop of this GRAHAM CRACKER HONEYCOMB and oh my god it changed my life. it had mega thick swirls of graham cracker and various little crunchy bits of chocolate and honey comb oh i wish i got double scoop of THAT it was so good. i didn't even finish the oreo, she couldn't compete. you gotta try it. the girls were so nice as well, very patient with us while we looked and super prompt to serve us with a smile when we were ready. will definitely tell all my friends about this flavor, i'm obsessed. that one will keep me coming back FASHO. read more

we ordered an ice cream cake from the La Cholla/Ina location for my kids birthday this past weekend and it was absolutely horrible! I haven't had a BR ice cream cake in many, many years and they are not what I remember. The main (yellow) frosting tasted like really bad cool whip and I am not exaggerating when I say there was a 1/2 inch (more in some areas) of frosting on top. almost as much frosting as cake. Nobody liked it and it was a complete waste of money. Not sure if it was the location, the person who made it or if this is just how they are now, but I am NEVER getting one of these again! read more

Not mad about it but I don't appreciate it. I came before they close at 9:55 when I stopped. There were two girls working in there and one of them was taking the trash out. I was trying to be polite but so I asked if they're still open and she said we're closed. I was looking at the closing time on the door and it's still not the time. The door was unlocked so I asked the girl inside who's the skinny (there's no other way to differentiate between the way they look) and she said we close at 10 it's okay. She was nice the whole time and I kinda took some time to order for my wife and I. She was working on the sundae, and the other one came in she looked irritated that I'm in and asked me if I needed anything else. I asked for three scoops. there was a big difference between her service and the other one. The course she gave me looked like half scoops. I intended to leave a leave a tip because the one inside was nice and doing well but I honestly didn't and I regret paying money for that amount of ice cream and service. We like Baskin-Robbins but the service is what makes the difference. read more

My grandma and I stopped in after having dinner next door. The two girls working had absolutely no customer service. They were so rude. When we walked in, we weren't greeted, they were hanging out with a blonde friend who was in the lobby and chattering away even though they turned and looked at us. All girls looked like they were in high school. The two girls 'working' were both brunette, one shorter and plus sized while the other had glasses and freckles. Even as my grandma and I were making our selections they just stood there, didn't offer any samples let alone say a word. We might as well have waited on our selves and scooped it out selves. I got a waffle bowl and that thing was nasty! It tasted like a bitter gingerbread cookie. I don't know what spices they season it with but, YUCK!! I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. The ice cream was mediocre but the experience was totally a buzzkill. We got our order and went to the car to eat it as we felt we were interrupting something. It's Baskin Robbins. Some of the best ice cream there is. They put out a consistently high quality and delicious product. They reek of high quality in all of their ingredients, products, and presentations. They also come out with new products that are high quality while keeping their tried-and-true offerings. I've been enjoying their ice cream now for about 45 years, ever since my Dad started bringing home hand-packed quarts of their delicious ice cream. Great memories. This Baskin Robbins was your typical skinny-store variety. It was clean and had a clean decor, which was inviting. The service was excellent, as the server was very cheerful, enjoyed what she did, and was conscientious about who should be served next. I had the mint chocolate chip, which they make the very best in the world, and the Baseball Nut, vanilla laced with a black raspberry ribbon and cashews--yum! I also love their Jamoca Almond Fudge, Peanut Butter 'n Chocolate, Pralines 'n Cream, Chocolate Fudge, Lemon Custard (when available), Rocky Road (although Dreyer's is the very best), and Peppermint (when in season). The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars (Woohoo! As good as it gets!) is because it is pricey stuff. "As good as it gets" for me would be less expensive. But that's an ideal world. A double dip will set you back $3.98, the price of a quart of ice cream at the grocery or $1 less than one of their pre-packed Grab-N-Go quarts. It is worth every penny. read more

On February 15th 2021 at 3pm, My husband and I ordered a cappuccino blast, the lady there I didn't catch her name rolled her eyes goes to the sink (not washing her hands) pulls out some dishes that had dirty muddy looking stuff in it and just dumped it out and didn't rinse it and continued to pull a lid out of a sink with dirty dishes and began to make our drink, we completely grossed out and told her that we like to cancel it before she began making it. We remember this lady about a month ago also when we walked in she was eating and hurried and hid what she was doing than we left. We are never returning because of this new employee just seems to not care about her position as an employee with baskin Robbins, before her we never had issues with any other employee. Baskin Robbins actually has pretty good ice cream! The best part is....you always know what you are going to get. We both love the Pistachio Almond! We have never been to this location before, but being as hot as it is in Tucson....we wanted some yummy ice cream. The ice cream itself did not disappoint. The service we received from Brad was also not disappointing. He is was quite helpful & efficient! The problem? The store is filthy! Come on....people eat here! Maybe you are thinking that there just wasn't enough people working, but NO! There were 4 employees there and very few customers. I counted a total of 6 ( including us) the entire time we were there. We weren't in a hurry so we leasurly sat there to eat our ice cream. Must have been there 20 minutes or more. 6 customers total in that 20+ minutes. Did I mention that there were 4 employees! Couldn't one of them have swept the floor? Problem was...only Brad was actually working! The other 3 chatted, gossiped & laughed the entire time without doing ANYTHING! I have no idea who owns or manages that business. ...but you are WASTING YOUR money if you pay people to stand and talk! If you expect people to eat in a dirty store anyway, why not just pay the 1 working associate and save the money on the other 3....we could have cheaper ice cream to eat in a dirty store. This location could use some updating (except the pink spoon door handle on the mall-side entrance - leave that! ), but the staff are absolutely delightful! My most recent visit was with my mother, and the girls behind the counter (my memory isn't the greatest, but if I recall correctly their names were Dani and Sky?) were cheerful, attentive, and it seemed like they were having a good time. Now it's easy to brag about the yummy ice cream at Baskin Robbins, but all the Baskin's have that in common- what sets this location above all would be the staff for sure! Worst service ever. After a nice young girl scooped my ice cream, the "public relations" manager scolded her for scooping too much. Then the manager proceeded to make the next part of my order continuing to tell me the girl shouldn't have given me so much. I asked for three scoops worth of two flavors and she lectured me on their policy not allowing them to do that. When I called her out for berating her employee she refused to serve me and asked me to leave. AND the store is disgustingly dirty. I walked by a table on the way in and nearly stuck to it because there was built up dried ice cream on it. Horrible "public relations", horrible service by management, disgusting store. Best part!! The owner does not permit his information to be given out and will not speak to customers to receive complaints.
