They packed the cake in a beautiful box and thankfully it was on a sturdy bottom so it didn't move during the delivery and looked so good! The cake itself was very good, a lot of strawberries with the whipping cream and cake were not too sweet so it balanced with the natural sweetness of the strawberries very well! It was also very light which was great as we had activities planned. We ordered it the day before and the cake tasted great the next day so easy to store leftovers. Would be interested in going to the store and trying more things in the future.

The cakes were pillowy soft, but you do need to eat them with utensils. They don't pop out of the wrapper easily. Unlike traditional cupcakes, I thought these weren't too icing/whipped cream heavy (each cake does have a layer of cream in the middle). Some of my family members found them to be too sweet for their liking.

It was quite busy even on a Saturday evening around 6pm. There are also tables inside the shop for dining in. Other than whole cakes, they do have slices of cakes available and other mini desserts + a lot of macarons! I was super lucky they had a few cakes left for walk-ins and chose the Taro Mochi Pork Floss Chiffon cake. It was on the pricier end ($60) but once we ate it.. honestly, one of the best cakes I think I've had in a while. It was so incredibly light, truly "not too sweet" and the mochi was so tasty! Such a unique combo, I don't think I've ever had one like it. My parents, who are really not fans of desserts, thought this cake was delicious. The shop front is small but honestly, served its purpose and the ladies working there were both very nice and quick! I noticed they had a number of cake orders so I'd recommend placing one in advance (not winging it like me) and their cupcakes looked delicious. My favourite though, has to be the classic, butter croissant. I picked up a strawberry short cake for a family dinner, and oh my gosh, it was so yummy. The cake was made out of layers of chiffon cake (super light and airy) and a delicious whipped cream with strawberries pieces nestled between the layers. I've only done take out there, but they do have a small area with seating, including space outdoors for warmer months. The service is good, staff are friendly and efficient. Even if there's a line, you're not really waiting that long. The location is easy to get to from Finch Station, but if you're traveling by car, parking may be a bit tough to find, though there is street parking and a paid lot a couple blocks further north by the TTC lot.
