It's a staple! How can you go wrong getting ice cream and popcorn?! Place is very new and clean. Lots of ice cream flavour options. Limited with the popcorn. Staff seem to still be training so service was slow but friendly. Nothing lasts in the plaza, I hope this does. I'm sick of the froyo craze!

a hand holding a bag of popcorn

I ordered a large popcorn and paid for a large but it looks like I was given a medium. They only filled it 3/4 of the way! Very disappointed.

Ice cream cake

Came here all the time for ice cream and popcorn, but first time order ice cream cakes today. Their ice cream cakes are so nice and different! I ordered a 2-tier unicorn ice cream cake, and the staff was so professional. She showed me a lot of pictures of unicorn cakes they made before for me to choose the color. I also bought a very nice feather ice cream cake.

The stand was staring at me. I had overdosed on ice cream at Dairy Queen the night before. I headed over to the stand without any hesitation. There was a menu. I looked at all the flavours. It was tough for me to decide. I finally went with the matcha nut, which consists of three flavours. It has ube (purple), activated charcoal coconut (black), on top of matcha (green). I got the black cone, which is activated with charcoal. The charcoal comes from coconut husks. Cool! My cone cost $7.35 with tax. It's not cheap, but it's all about the experience. I paid using my debit card. The woman working at the stand was great at making my order. I was so happy to see it. I thanked her and left. This ice cream is definitely photogenic. Even in bad lighting, this ice cream on a cone looks good. I liked the taste. The ice cream was creamy and good. I could taste the ube and matcha. I couldn't taste the coconut, though. Perhaps I need to get the black ice cream only. The matcha was divine! If you are a true matcha fan, this ice cream has your name stamped all over it. The black ice cream leaves your tongue all black. Don't go for a doctor's appointment for your throat issue after you have had it here. I loved how crispy the cone was. It's not sugary, which is exactly how I like a cone. I was at this stand on a Thursday night at 7:45 pm. There was no lineup. The soft-serve ice cream is yummy. I'd come back here to get some more. Prices are steep, but it's okay if you come here now and again. (136)

Service was a bit slow so they get 4.5 stars. Sakura matcha was layered, which was pretty. Each layer had its own pleasant flavour. After mixing I couldn't really taste the Sakura, but it was still a good rich matcha drink. The chewy pearls at the bottom had a nice texture. Poop waffle was warm & crisp & came in a Japanese style toilet. There was a choice of custard, red bean or Nutella but I chose to hew to the theme. The crumb was fluffy & quite fragrant. It could have more Nutella but it was free with a checkin so I really couldn't complain.

We went a little after noon on a Friday in August and the place was completely empty when we walked in. Torched Salmon Bowl - perfectly seared and flavorful salmon in a cute presentation. I don't think it would've harmed anybody and we wouldn't have been in anybody's way if I just held her and let her watch the process. I know I've watched, other places as they have done this. Our 2 year old spilled the entire Lychee Sakura Soda before we even took a sip and they cleaned it up for us and gave us a new one!
