Atmosphere - When I arrived, there was a couple people there. While there, a couple more people arrived. I didn't visit the restroom. Temperature inside was good. Not hot or cold. I have been to some places where it's been hot. They have a small area outside that could be considered as a patio. Store didn't have any weird odors. Ice cream -The Twix Salted Caramel & Malted Chocolate Ice Creams with TWIX® Cookie Bar Pieces, Blonde Cookie Pieces & Salted Caramel Swirls tasted pretty good, but very similar to gold medal ribbon Chocolate & Vanilla flavored Ice Creams win gold with luscious Caramel Swirls. In the Twix, I didn't get any cookie bar pieces. The beach day salted vanilla flavored ice Cream with Milk chocolate flavored Caramel-Filled Sea Turtles, Frosting Flecks & Swirls of Graham Cracker Sand tasted a little funky. I didn't get any chocolate caramel sea turtles or graham cracker. The lemon custard was surprisingly good. Service - There were two employees. Not sure what happened, but service quality has taken a steep nose dive. Their machine wasn't working and wouldn't take my coupon. Parking - The store was located inside of a shared parking lot. Was pretty empty during non peak hours. No parking meters or parking structures. A parking structure with solar panels on top or trees would be nice. Otherwise, no shaded spots available. My children just love ice cream cakes from Baskin Robbins. There's a huge selection so I can always find a theme they're into at the moment. I do think the deco-set cakes are priced a little steeply but they make my kids happy and they do play with the figurines afterwards. read more

Very upset over last experience with this location. Ordered a cake online and the next day this location called and said they don't make that size cake and tried to upgrade me. I passed and asked for a refund. The girl said she would let her boss know and call me back to confirm. No call. Called about 12 hours later before close and someone else said they would call me in the morning after they talk to the manager. No call. I called the corp number and they said they needed to reach out to the store and confirm a refund which could take up to 14 days then additional time to process the refund. Keep in mind, I didn't cancel the order. I wanted the order and now I'm supposed to wait for my money back and likely miss having a cake for my daughters birthday because they won't refund me. We order 2-3 cakes here per year and have for like 15 years but I won't return after this. I will call my bank in the morning to dispute the charge so I can attempt to get another cake in time. read more

We needed a gluten free ice cream birthday cake on a very short notice. I talked to Makeyla (sp?) and she was so great to work with! She suggested an all-icecream cake and suggested the flavors that didn't have gluten ingredients. She then made and decorated the cake exactly as discussed. This is a cute little Ice Cream shop that has been there for quite some time now. I love that it's a real 31 flavors. There's not too many of them out there anymore . I've been here on multiple occasions. It's always nice, many choices. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful if you have questions. They always have a lot of cakes to choose from as well ,which is awesome . It's very clean as well. I ordered an ice cream cake for my husband's birthday and it was the worst cake I've ever had. None of my kids liked it. My husband didn't like it. The only part they ate was a little bit of ice cream part of the cake. The cake was extremely dense, hard, dry and did not have a very good flavor. Sandpaper would be the best word to describe it. i just visited tonight and it was so obvious that 2 of the workers there were anxious to leave. One of the worse feelings ever is feeling like your not welcomed somewhere you love! I ordered a birthday cake two weeks in advance after taking my granddaughter in for her to pick out the ice-cream and decorations. We spent 40 minutes making the selection. I paid for the cake which was over $50. Two weeks later on my way to the party I stopped to pick up the cake. The manager, Stacy, had arrived just minutes before me to decorate the cake. I had ordered the cake for a 4:30 pm pickup and arrived at 4:20 pm. The cake was finished at 4:31 pm but it was not the decorations my granddaughter picked out. You could tell the decorations were rushed. I filed a complaint with BR corporate and they filed a case to at least get a partial return of $. As of 5 days later and 5 phone calls, no reply. All stores are individually owned. The other BR in Tempe was much more helpful and responsive to my situation. Stacy was very rude when I told her that waiting until the last minute to decorate a cake was illogical. Her reply was that I ordered it for 4:30 and it was 4:30. My mother owned two BR stores so I know the process for making a cake. They had 2 weeks notice to prepare. On a side note, Stacy called midweek and told me she did not have enough of the ice-cream my granddaughter selected for the cake so I had to modify the cake with another ice-cream. read more
