Last night I took my two daughters to Baskin-Robbins for a little ice cream treat. We each ordered a small, and when they handed us our cups (one cone), I honestly thought they had forgotten to finish scooping them. The two cups weren't even close to being full. We're not talking "settling during transport" levels here. We're talking "did someone sneak a few bites before serving this?" levels. For nearly $5 each, I was genuinely shocked by how tiny the portions were. My daughters looked at their ice cream, looked at me, and I could practically see them doing the math on how many more scoops should have been there. What really got me was that I even asked the employee about it. He smiled and shrugged in a way that seemed to say, "Yeah, I know." It wasn't rude, but it definitely made me feel like this wasn't exactly a surprise complaint. The ice cream itself was good, but the serving sizes left me so disappointed. I understand prices have gone up, but if I'm paying almost $14 for three small ice creams, I'd at least like enough ice cream to require some commitment from my spoon. He was working solo with a constant stream of people coming in for the 80-cent ice cream scoops, including my family, and he handled everything with so much kindness and patience. He answered all of our questions, listened attentively not just to us but to everyone around us and moved as quickly as he could while still making every guest feel seen and taken care of. The strawberry cheese cake ice cream at Baskin Robbins is absolutely delicious. * I have tried a lot of their ice creams and this one is one of the best. There are little bits of cheese cake in the ice cream. I can also taste the strawberry flavor too. For me the second best is the one that has caramel ribbons with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. When I went the store was quiet. There was not a lot of people around. Maybe the weather was too cold or it was a school night. The employees seemed nice and the store was clean. I like when I can try some of the flavors before purchase so I can make sure to get the right flavor for me. I have had experiences getting the wrong dish at restaurants before. I wish they didn't rotate ice cream flavors so much, but this probably draws a lot of people that store. I love this ice cream! read more

BUT what I do NOT like is being tricked into giving great feedback on "giveBRthescoop" like I did on August 31, 2024 and was suppose to get $1.00 off but the coupon I received EXPIRED on August 3rd, 2024! Why does BR pull stunts like this and create a hostile customer service environment. BR gets good ratings but I get nothing for my time and on top of it I was tricked into giving them good reviews! This is our preferred Baskin-Robbins, at least before the world started to end last year. Since then, I've only been back a couple times, fully masked, and ready to get the heck out asap. In all cases, I picked up some prepacked quarts, and made our ultimate sundaes at home. As of May 2021, there is still no dine-in available, probably because it's such as small place. Thus, the place is pretty clean. They appear to have a full menu and a fully stocked fridge. This time we noticed Strawberry Cheesecake quarts which we never tried. As an added bonus, it's now made with all natural flavors. Service is great. The nice manager lady put my quarts in a paper bag and didn't give me a hard time for fumbling around with some expired coupons before I found the right ones. We're looking forward to the full reopening when herd immunity is reached and world peace is established. Then we can start enjoying their famous banana splits while watching everyone make some difficult sweet choices. read more

I went to this location tonight, and received the best customer service from the two young men that were on duty!!!! My son was having his football practice across the street at McClintock High, and I wanted some ice cream to enjoy while watching practice. It's HOT, 109, I didn't want it to melt. They informed me they didn't have plastic bags, but offered to double bag my ice cream, and wrap some ice in Saran Wrap and put it in the bag. Which is exactly what they did!!! And guess what, I got back to the practice field, took my ice cream out, and it hadn't melted one bit!!! This ice cream is described as follows: "Sweet heat! This location is in a weird little exterior corner of the strip mall... right across from a Planet Fitness. Because, who doesn't want a double scoop right after a hard workout? The place is pretty small, and the parking area feels like a corral, which was OK when we went because it was not crowded at all, but could be a challenge if there were any people in there. Jamocha almond fudge ice-cream is amaazzzzinnng! Good price for good creamy flavors. I didn't need to sample any other flavors once I got a taste of this deliciousness. Got it in a single, should have went double. It's very creamy but not incredibly soft (I don't like that anyways). Lots of crunch in every bites from the bits of almonds. I love their two scoop ice cream sundaes with whip cream, hot fudge, almonds and cherry. I typically always chose chocolate chip. They make it super fast.
