It's a small spot but loaded with well-curated goods and comfort. It's nicely designed so you feel relaxed while shopping. I went on a day that they were having a holiday pop up, so there were other local vendors exhibiting their goods. There are lots of wellness goods such as aromatherapy and essential oils, handmade items, and plenty of items that are perfect for gifts. They do flower arrangements, have a coffee bar, and you can order a few desserts there too. In addition, I spied a calendar on their wall that says they do classes for things like garland making, candlemaking, flower arrangements, etc. Would be cool to check out eventually! My only little nitpick is that barely any items had the price disclosed and I hate when I'm browsing and can't really assess how much I'd be spending and have to ask each time. I like putting together gifts comprised of various things and sticking to a budget so this was annoying. I'll definitely be back though and spend a little more time when it is a little less chaotic inside!

However, the bag of Ghirardelli squares was a different story altogether. The chocolates all had undergone blooming. While it's a fancy name, the chocolates looked disgusting, with white spots covering almost 3/4th of the squares. My kids opened 2, and I opened 2, and all were the same. I called the location and spoke to a person who claimed to be the owner. I told him the problem, and he put me onto his manager. She apologized and said if I'd like a replacement. I said if all their chocolates are being stored incorrectly or they have old chocolates, then I don't want any. She didn't bother justifying or even refuting that statement. So I'm pretty sure, all their chocolates or the caramel squares are either very old or stored in places of high moisture. Either ways they look disgusting. She did ask if I wanted something else, not bothering to give me any proactive options. She just seemed like she had to say something because the owner was around. No proactive customer service, no feelings of even slight remorse about sending out old chocolates to customers. I told her I'd be putting up a review so people know bot to order chocolates from here and she was ok with it. Bad rating is for bad chocolates and even worse, lack of empathy and proactiveness in dealing with an unsatisfied customer. My whole experience with edibles at Franklin square is marred. After posting the review, I looked up the expiry on the bag and it's May 2024, expiring in a few months. No wonder, the bag has been sitting around somewhere for a really long time.

You'll find few of these products at another store nearby, which makes the selection pretty unique. Most recently I came here for a Mother's Day gift and had plenty to choose from. The employee working in the store that day took time to answer my questions and offer some product recommendations. The prices here are perhaps a little steeper than you might find at a large retailer, but it's that personal touch and eclectic selection of luxury goods that make it worth the price jump. Upon deciding on something to buy, the employee took time to carefully wrap the purchase in a gift bag, even removing the price sticker since I mentioned it was a gift. The store is located in a small cottage, so looking in from the outside it might appear to offer just a few choices, but the store is really packed with options, so there's a lot to choose from. For the small town charm, personalized service and unique offerings, I'm a fan. Suzanne guided us from start to finish with our own dual wedding-baptism that became more complicated when you add in an additional wedding taking place in Florida that we also needed to make selections for. She helped us and our koumbari/god parents through phone calls and texts on a regular basis. She got to know who we are and had perfect taste to help us in our selections that would not only suit our needs but also our personal tastes. She would send pictures as our items were being completed. Everything was done on time whether it was shipped or picked up. And one more thing, the prices are totally reasonable!!
