I called the location and spoke to a person who claimed to be the owner. I told him the problem, and he put me onto his manager. She apologized and said if I'd like a replacement. I said if all their chocolates are being stored incorrectly or they have old chocolates, then I don't want any. She didn't bother justifying or even refuting that statement. So I'm pretty sure, all their chocolates or the caramel squares are either very old or stored in places of high moisture. Either ways they look disgusting. She did ask if I wanted something else, not bothering to give me any proactive options. She just seemed like she had to say something because the owner was around. No proactive customer service, no feelings of even slight remorse about sending out old chocolates to customers. I told her I'd be putting up a review so people know bot to order chocolates from here and she was ok with it. Bad rating is for bad chocolates and even worse, lack of empathy and proactiveness in dealing with an unsatisfied customer. My whole experience with edibles at Franklin square is marred. After posting the review, I looked up the expiry on the bag and it's May 2024, expiring in a few months. No wonder, the bag has been sitting around somewhere for a really long time.

We picked out all the flowers we wanted and how we wanted the bouquets. The day of the wedding we walked into the venue and the most hideous bouquets for the girls where sitting there waiting for the brides maid and flower girls. The owner said she decided to change the bouquet for us she thought it looked prettier. You be the judge. I left a bad review on Yelp, the owner called and wanted the bad review removed. We wouldn't remove it. I recently looked on yelp to see their reviews, and my review was take off. I felted compelled to put a review back on because I want all brides to be aware of this flower shop.
