So happy one of my best friends introduced me to this place or I never would have found it. There are so many ceramic pieces to choose from ranging in size and price. Then when you finally pick the piece to your liking you get to choose the different paints you would like to use. There's instructions on each table too for beginners like myself. We had a lovely time painting at Fun Time Pottery today! I came in knowing I wanted to paint a mug, and I was so pleased to find they had such a huge selection! Prices were reasonable considering they don't charge a studio fee and don't limit your time. The employees were so friendly and helpful. They explained every step to us and made sure we had everything we needed. The main painting area was very bright and neat, and the bathroom in the back was very clean as well. Really beautiful choices to pick from. It's a wonderful time to sit back and paint, very relaxing. There are many colors to pick from as well. It takes about 11 days for our pottery to get shine/finished, so you have to pick it up when it's done. My only complaint really, is being commented on my age. Jan. 26, 2021. After we were close to done with our pieces, the lady, named V, was quite rude to me and my friend. First off, she talked to my friend directly, as if she assumed I did not know how to speak? She also referred to my friend as "mommy". Which was quite appalling because you don't assume a customer's age at all, regardless as an excuse as little as "oh because its hard to tell because of the mask". Second of all, she talked to me as if I was a child, I'm 21 years old. She explained to me that if the color is going to show, I should do more layers. I picked very pastel/light colors for a washed/soft look, I was satisfied with what I did already, but she still continued to push me. Taking note of this, I was instantly disappointed with the customer service. You never judge someone especially with age or make side comments like this. I understand masks can burr our interpretation, however, you have no right to call my friend "mommy" or me, a "14-year old" that can't speak for herself. I won't be coming back because I never want to feel this way again. But who knows, maybe she will be nicer to you than me. read more

It was a rainy holiday Monday and we decided to pop in for some indoor art fun. We were greeted and informed the cost of selected pottery would be the cost in addition to tax. Many of the items were priced at $18-$40. We chose a cupcake jewelry box priced at $25.00. There were many different items for the home and personal use. My daughter enjoyed selecting the different paint. I liked the metallic paint options. We spent 2 hours painting to ensure that we had 3 coats before the item is glazed. My only complaint here the price points for the small pottery and the dated appearance of the location. Otherwise this was a nice place to spend the afternoon with my daughter and friends. They host events here for children and paint and sips for adults. Children can also have birthday parties for as low as $260 for a group of 12. read more

Booked this place in advanced for my daughter's 16th bday since she wanted to spend time with her friends. Of course we started with one headcount and ended up with a lower number. On top of that, we were running late due to rainstorm, traffic and holiday. Call them to let them know we were running late and they said no problem! The owner was so nice and her staff were so helpful and accommodating. We got there and they put us in a private room. They even had a bday message for my daughter on the chalkboard. I came here with my mom and sister for a family activity. It is conveniently located on franklin ave and has a spacious parking lot. The staff was very nice and they have a great variety of pieces to paint. They have a lot of paint colors as well which is nice to let you be creative. They had affordable prices which was nice and it was nice experience. They also have events which people can bring their own bottle of wine and get creative. I have painted here as both a walk in customer and been a part of a byob night, both super fun! I love this place, very clean and the staff is sincerely welcoming. The studio is always getting new pieces with a wide selection, their functional pieces are my favorite. Multiple platters, dishes, pitchers, martini glasses, cookie jars and such are always stocked up. It's nice painting something I will get to use also. The kids have a blast when we go and it's nice to see them clam and focused! BYOB nights are a great get away for a few hours with friends, I enjoy having the studio all to ourselves, just my group and I. Assistance when painting is always there and ready to help, you really don't have to be artistic. The many stamps stencils and tools that are available to customers help out so much. Children's birthday parties are held in the back party room so they do not disrupt the walk in customers when painting. What I have seen from the birthday parties while painting myself, is a lot of fun and happy children. This a unique fun activity for any one of all ages. It's also great for presents too and doing handprints i recommend this place to any one with children or any one who would like to paint themselves.
