Most pottery places have both a studio fee in addition to the price of the piece. At this studio, however, you only pay for the price of the piece. The "No studio fee" makes me want to spend more on a piece to work on. The workers have been the same for years and are all very helpful. A petite girl with brown hair helped us and was very patient while I decided what mixed media project I would choose. My boyfriend painted a pottery piece while I painted a butterfly and then added mosaics to it. Aside from pottery and mosaics, other crafts include candle making and glass infused pieces. A wide selection of paints, mosaics, pottery pieces, etc. It's perfect for a get together with friends or a date activity. On select Thursday evenings, they will hold a "women only event" as well as "only kids events" during breaks from school. You will not be disappointed with Artrageous! Please come :)

I love how they have such wide variety of items to choose form... the options were endless and all SO CUTE! The staff members are available to give you refills on your paint during your session and they are also willing to give you additional colors after your chosen 5. They also have tons of tools to use at your disposal (stencils, different types of brushes, hairdryers, etc).  Reservations are up to 2 hours, which I found to be on the shorter side (esp for a perfectionist like me!). My friends and I actually did not finish our pottery pieces during our first visit, but they were very accommodating and we were able to come back to finish our pieces a few weeks after.  Pieces are ready for pick up 1 week after you finish painting, which is a very quick turn around.

They returned in October, November, and December as their schedules allowed to continue working on the projects. During those visits, they explained multiple times that there may be gaps before they could finish and pick up the pieces. They were under the impression this was understood and that holding the items would not be an issue. Now that their schedules finally allowed them to go back, I drove my daughter over to pick up the pieces, only for her to be told they no longer had them and that they had been thrown out. She was then told they only hold items for 40 days. That was not clearly communicated to her, especially considering they had specifically discussed their school and work schedule situation during prior visits. What made it worse was the response. When my daughter asked why no one called before throwing away paid customer projects, she was told they "do not call you guys." When she said she had spent a lot of money, the employee responded that it was "$40" in a dismissive way, as if that amount did not matter. To my daughter, that money mattered. More importantly, the project mattered. These were hand-painted ceramic pieces made by two friends during a busy and important time in their lives. You cannot recreate that exact item or that exact memory. It was not just pottery -- it was something personal. My daughter left very upset and almost in tears. I understand businesses need policies, but a strict 40-day hold policy should be made very clear, especially when customers explain ahead of time that school and work may delay pickup. A simple phone call, text, or email before discarding paid projects would have avoided this entire situation. I also do not understand how a studio that serves students and families can expect someone attending any type of school, including college away from home, to always be able to return within 40 days. If that is the policy, it needs to be clearly stated upfront and repeated before items are discarded. Very disappointed in how this was handled.

However, there was a particular worker who was very rude and hostile to me. I am not sure if I was mistaken for someone else, as it was from when I first started interacting with her. It's a shame as I love the activity, but I will not be returning as her behavior made it an uncomfortable and disheartening experience for me.
