GLY's cafe offers excellent coffee and tea choices -- freshly made and organic. I'm partial to the Liliukalani tea, a black tea with tropical fruit infusion. Doesn't even need sugar. Also enjoy the iced mocha coffee. Bakery items & snacks are always fresh and I've never had a clunker. Today I tried the oatmeal and was very pleased with the texture--obviously from scratch. I had fruit/veg juice there a while back and that was freshly made and organic too. Good stuff! There are smoothies too, but I haven't tried those. There are tables/chairs or a couch and easy chairs where you can take your time and catch up on reading or conversation. Staff members are very accommodating and go out of their way to serve.

After scouring a couple of sites I came up with this site and figured why not? Fast forward 2weeks later, I was wondering what was the status of my order. So I called the store and they said " Yes, its here and done, you checked pick up." Oh Wow I missed that option, I am on my way. Reluctantly, I got in my car and headed to Baldwin Long Island w/my trustee GPS. DUH! I hadn't even noticed the option, that what kept on racing in my mind the whole way over. I hate the Southern State, Ughgh Maybe I should of asked them to mail it to me. Oh well, nothing I can do now. SOOOOO HAPPY I missed it. They are GaaaaaREEEEEEAAAT!!! Love Love Love, did I mention love this store. A+++++ Customer Service, if you can't find it they will help you get it. Lots of ideas for inspiration that can be made by them or yourself. I will definitely shop for more items. They were so gracious and helpful, I look forward to working with them for my 40th Birthday party. You can find all your party needs plus more. If you've watched Schitt's Creek, you'll be familiar with David's store: Rose Apothecary. For some…read morereason this store reminds me of that shop (which is a good thing). White House Home is one of those locally owned businesses you want to stay in business because of the personal touches, quality service, and small town charm. The store is essentially a boutique selling a variety of imported products: lotions, candles, glassware, porcelain, and even some packaged foods (cookies and chocolates, for instance). You'll find few of these products at another store nearby, which makes the selection pretty unique. Most recently I came here for a Mother's Day gift and had plenty to choose from. The employee working in the store that day took time to answer my questions and offer some product recommendations. The prices here are perhaps a little steeper than you might find at a large retailer, but it's that personal touch and eclectic selection of luxury goods that make it worth the price jump. Upon deciding on something to buy, the employee took time to carefully wrap the purchase in a gift bag, even removing the price sticker since I mentioned it was a gift. The store is located in a small cottage, so looking in from the outside it might appear to offer just a few choices, but the store is really packed with options, so there's a lot to choose from. For the small town charm, personalized service and unique offerings, I'm a fan. It doesn't necessarily have anything, but it's the perfect place to go if you need a special gift or are looking for something different.

It's a small spot but loaded with well-curated goods and comfort. It's nicely designed so you feel relaxed while shopping. I went on a day that they were having a holiday pop up, so there were other local vendors exhibiting their goods. There are lots of wellness goods such as aromatherapy and essential oils, handmade items, and plenty of items that are perfect for gifts. They do flower arrangements, have a coffee bar, and you can order a few desserts there too. In addition, I spied a calendar on their wall that says they do classes for things like garland making, candlemaking, flower arrangements, etc. Would be cool to check out eventually! My only little nitpick is that barely any items had the price disclosed and I hate when I'm browsing and can't really assess how much I'd be spending and have to ask each time. I like putting together gifts comprised of various things and sticking to a budget so this was annoying. I'll definitely be back though and spend a little more time when it is a little less chaotic inside!
