This exchange was the result of over 7 weeks of almost 8 e-mails trying to get a response from the manager, regional manager and owner (there was not enough room for all of the exchanges):

Mr. Zeev,
Thank you for eventually getting back to me regarding my December 17th e-mail. I can understand that you might have forgotten some of the details in the original e-mail as it has been some time since it was sent.
My e-mail was not just about my phone, which was broken by one of your employees, but the subsequent interaction that followed. As I said initially, I had hoped to voice a complaint about the service that I received, along with discuss with someone what happened to my phone. I had hoped that my side of the story might be heard before a flat refusal to take responsibility for what happened in your store was made.
I suppose that I should not be surprised by the customer service that I received from Michael on my visit. If the "Assistant Manager" is supposed to take cues from the Manager and the Regional Manager about how a customer should be treated, then he has learned exactly how to respond.
When I called to voice my complaint to Ricardo, he did everything in his power to rush me off the phone, and assured me that "Zeev would be following up with me". After waiting over a week to hear from you, I visited the store to speak personally with Ricardo, who again, did all he could to not even hear my complaint. A bum's rush out of the store and a "Yes... yes... yes..." is not customer service.
After a half dozen e-mails to try to get my complaint heard, I finally had to "guess" the owner's e-mail address to finally force you to respond to my repeated e-mails. Now that I have finally gotten a response, you do not take the time to discuss my complaint or even hear my side of the story about what transpired in your store while I was paying for merchandize.
I am quite sure that you did not "review the security tapes" to see what happened, I suspect that you never spoke with anyone other than Ricardo about my initial request for follow up, and you definitely did not speak with me. To say that this is a laughable attempt at Customer Service would be an understatement. I would suggest looking up "Customer Service" online to familiarize yourself with some basic rules, but I am quite sure that that suggestion would go unused. Not one organization puts "ignore complaints until your customer stops complaining" on their list.
To date, not one member of the BasicsPlus staff has listened to my complaint or asked to hear what happened to me on the afternoon of my visit.
Please feel free to look for a copy of this interaction online. The customers at your store should know exactly how any complaint that they have about treatment in your stores will be handled... Professionally and promptly.
A former customer,
David

Hello sir,
we regret to inform you that we cannot be held accountable or responsible for any personal belongings. In regards to your cellular phone, we sincerely apologize but unfortunately after careful review, we concluded that the phone was in your possession at the time of the incident. The clerk counter is to be utilized for store merchandise only. We are very sorry.

Mr. Zvi,
Thank you for your help with this.
I cannot understand how it could take over 6 weeks to voice a complaint and to find some resolution for the problem with my phone, but thank you for your assistance. Hopefully I can get this issue handled now.
Thank you again.

Please let me know if this is the wrong address.
