Beautiful cake made by Shaid in the Bakery Dept
Lana L.

Shaid in the Baker Department is my go to for my kids birthday cakes! I usually go in a week before and show her a few photos of what I'm looking for and she always nails it! Not only do her cakes look beautiful, they are also yummy!! You can even choose fillings like fresh strawberry jam, cookies and cream, and cream cheese! Shaid is so sweet and beyond talented!

Bashas again teamed up St. Vincent Dean Paul and 12 News for their annual Turkey Tuesday! I never knew this event existed. My mom was watching the news and gave me a call. Different vendors were out supporting the event. At the west valley Surprise location they had awesome live music, Surprise police and fire, Lengendary Martial Arts, Spruce Mobil Banking, Trend Booths, Eatz n Treatz, The Sanctuary for Animals - Phoenix Herpetology Society, Spencer's Place, and The Office Toolbox. These vendors offered treats and crafts for the kids. Our girls made bookmakers, paper bag turkeys, and thanks to Bashas decorate huge turkey cookies with colored frosting and sprinkles. Theybreally put a lot into it. Inside Bashas they had turkeys for 79 cents a pound. They were not priced as that and I don't think most people realized that. The $30 turkeys I picked out only ended up being $13 a piece so we went back for more. When checking out you can donate to provide more turkeys amd food boxes. When donating you can fill out a feather and place it on the turkey and are welcome to a free pumpkin pie. A lot of people really put a lot of time. So appreciated and neat when people come together who care. This store is a hot spot in the afternoon as everyone is swinging in after work as if it was a convenient store. The bakery is full of beautiful baked goods. Their rolls are some of my husband's local favorites.

I do like that Basha's is a smaller grocery store but however due to their current remodeling I was hoping that they might have more of a better selection. But my favorite thing here is their hot foods selection. They have the best breakfast burrito! This thing is huge! When I get it I eat half for breakfast and the other half for lunch...you get my drift that's how big it is. They have awesome fish as well. The Mac and cheese is super creamy and delicious too. The mash potatoes however are too runny and have some what of a lemon taste. I think they need to work on those. Oh and don't forget to check out their donuts also one of my favorites. Those are heavy but wow so good!

Great customer service, thank you tom/Janet from deli. We have not been to this Basha's in several years. We were very pleased.

Over the years my past and current experience with Basha's pharmacy has been nothing but very outstanding!

Got my prescription sent here today and double checked the hours and availability by calling the…read moreautomated system that answers the phones. It told me that not only were my prescriptions ready, but that the pharmacy was currently open and open until 6pm tonight. Of course, when my wife pulled up, there was a written note on the window saying "Pharmacy is closed @ 1:30pm (it was 2:30 when she got there, so lunch was definitely over) The register staff just said "the automated times aren't official". What a joke. Why have the automated times at all? Why have an automated phone system if it gives incorrect information? I'd rather speak to a human that could've told me this hours ago instead of wasting our time like that.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Walgreens. I came to pick up my photos and waited at…read morethe photo counter, clearly visible, yet was completely ignored. I rang the bell for assistance, which didn't work--something the employees were apparently aware of but never addressed. Even though staff saw me standing there, no one came over to help. One employee was chatting with another while checking out customers but still didn't acknowledge me. I eventually had to walk over, wait in line, and ask if someone could assist me or if I was supposed to help myself. Only then was I told, somewhat rudely, that the bell was broken. This kind of service is unacceptable--customers should not have to chase down help, especially when the staff can clearly see someone is waiting. A little courtesy and attention would go a long way.
