Just a fyi. Walgreens at w bell and n cotton have all new people They are exceptional. They were able to straighten out the problems i had with my prescriotions at cvs. I had numerous prescriptions that cvs messed up for me and walgreens fixed ut all. I very frequently visit this cvs since it is the closest place to get my toiletries and things I need since I am a new driver. On multiple occasions I have visited and seen an older lady employee walking around the aisle I am in and standing behind me while I am at the self checkout. This has been going on for over a year. I have no intention of stealing and have never stole at this location or in my life at all I always pay for my stuff since I have money of my own. She does this to me but not anybody else and seeing as I'm a person of color it's a bit odd besides this particular employee this cvs has no other complaints from me. read more

I'm not sure why there aren't more great reviews for this pharmacy location. I've been here dozens of times and have always received wonderful customer service. The staff are kind, helpful and do what they can to accommodate. I had to come in here to give a shout out to the pharmacist Ronak. This morning he went above and beyond to help me not only once but twice including helping answer questions on a medical device and explain what to consider. I was using Walgreens at the corner of Bell and Cotton for all prescriptions. It was always a nightmare and techs behind counter did not help with frustration. I switched to CVS 6 months ago, and they've been great every time for all of my family's prescriptions. read more

While the staff might be great as previous reviews stated, the pharmacy drive through is a disaster. There is no sign stating that the pharmacy closes from 1:30-2:00. Let me clarify. There is a sign but it is on the window. I got in line at 1:05. At 1:30 I got to the window. Blinds closed and a message saying they were closed for lunch. The line wraps around the building and you would think that we would see the hours posted where people can see them from your vehicle. You would think they would be more customer friendly and open both lanes like most other cvs's. One for drop offs and one for pick ups. Clearly the management here is over paid. The corporate must be just as clueless to the problems here because there is not one response to the many 1 star reviews here. read more

The Pharmacy Manager is RUDE ... Walgreens sent me to CVS to fill my prescription with my new insurance. When I arrived the cashier was very sweet and helpful, when she told the manager what I was there for she snapped at her. I told her I only had two blood pressure pills left and she said. "it takes a week to get the request transfer" But I only have two pills left she went to say "I said it takes a week" and walked away. I may have no choice but to fill my prescriptions at CVS but I will NOT be doing it at the CVS on the corner off Cotton and Greenway. Where's the respect and customer service? read more

My wife had a question regarding a discrepancy with filling her prescription. Her email from CVS stated it was being filled however her CVS app stated it was canceled. She went in to the pharmacy on 6/5/2023 at 0930 to clarify and the lady working the counter was EXTREMELY disrespectful and dismissive never answering her question. Even the lady working the counter was confused giving different answers. Absolutely disappointed in this pharmacy representative. The people in the pharmacy are worthless! They called me and told me I have no insurance, and I'm not covered for prescriptions. This is after I've already given them a copy of my insurance card might I add. I read my insurance card info to them FIVE times over the phone and all I get is nope, can't find you. I then call my insurance company who tells me they don't see anything submitted to them by CVS so they proceed to call CVS with me and magically after giving them exactly what I told them the FIVE times I mentioned above they find me. If you've had a bad experience at the CVS at Cotton and Greenway, try the one at Greenway and Reems. Had a prescription called in by my doctor. Called after 3 hours to find out if it was ready. Held for 45 minutes and finally got in my car and drove over. Asked if they ever answer the phone and was told, by Robert, "sometimes". Much needed med was not ready and was told to come back in 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Asked to speak to supervisor. Staff pharmacist came over and said they don't answer phones because it would take 5 hours to fill a prescription instead of 2. And when I asked her who was going to pay for my gas, she told me they could mail the meds to me. I NEEDED IT THAT DAY. Went back 2 hours later. Robert outright lied to me and said he told me to come back tomorrow. Why would I have come back in 2 hours? I told him I was in pain and needed the meds. Not sure where he got his medical degree (sic), but he said the antibiotics were not for pain. Not being a woman, guess he has no idea what it's like to have a UTI. I asked to speak to the manager of the store who told me he would speak to them. Suggested I go to another CVS and have the script transferred. Asked him to call to see if they could fill it. He refused. I asked for my script back and it was refused because it was "in the system". After I got a little loud (who wouldn't at this point), I was ordered out of the store and never to come back. Went to CVS at Greenway and Reems. Was greeted by Jeri and want to give a huge shoutout to her and her team. They were absolutely wonderful. Polite, courteous, friendly and had my script filled within 10 minutes. And she kept apologizing to me for taking so long and thanked me for my patience. And I was on the phone with my cousin at the time (who also had a bad experience at Cotton Lane store) and Jeri was able to transfer my cousin's script as well, filled it and I was able to get that for her and give it to her on Thanksgiving day. Jeri welcomed me to their store. (And I actually saw the pharmacist on the phone taking a call - obvioiusly they answer phones at that store). Well worth the 2 mile drive to find a store that knows the meaning of customer service. read more

I've always had a good experience here and I think this location is really efficient. I had to have passport photos taken and this was done very quickly and the worker was very nice. I also come here occasionally to print photos and pick up odds and ends and that is always made very easy for me as well. read more

Worst customer service ever. When you have your meds on auto refill they still don't fill them, nor send a Text or call you about it. ice tried on numerous occasions to call this facility they don't answer over 40min so I get in my car and drive to them with them still on my phone and not answering, stand in line for 5 mins with my phone still ringing on hold and When I get to the window I show them every time they never answer for their clients. Horrible excuse is they are "understaffed" yet there was 5-6 people minimum behind the counter in the pharmacy. You want my opinion? go to Walgreens or frys you will get your meds and someone always will answer the phone! read more

I always have to go 2-3 times to pick up same medication. It's never done when promised. Four days ago dr. Send a prescription, I waited in line for 25 min. Barely standing, to be told that it was not ready. They like you to coming back, always saying 15 min, you come back in 20 min. And it's still not ready. I go here very often to pick up medication for my grandma and other items. The employees are always so nice and smiling, very helpful. After reading some of these negative reviews I have to wonder. I like CVS! Their employees are helpful, the pharmacy is very accommodating and goes out of their way to assist you. This is the worst CVS I've ever been to in my entire life. I sat on hold for 45 minutes and couldn't get through to anyone. Hoping to see if my medication that my doctor sent in that morning would be available by the evening which I very much needed today. Instead after waiting so long I drove to the store to find a line 30 people long and realized I would need to suffer without my medication that was needed. Unacceptable! This isn't the first time this has happened. Every time my monthly medication needs to be refilled they are behind and I have to call right when I'm out to ask them to help me as soon as they can. read more

BEWARE!! This has to be the worst CVS location. Never sends a text when meds are ready and never fills meds in a timely manner. Had to wait a week for them to fill my wife's blood pressure meds. We recently moved from Peoria and had our meds switched to the location and had nothing but bad experiences from long waits in the drive thru to meds nit being filled. Just recently my wife's dr sent over a prescription at 10:30am. Kept saying it was being processed. Went to go check at the pharmacy and said it wouldn't be ready until the following day. Seriously!! You are better taking your prescriptions to another pharmacy. They do not care that people get their meds when they need them. I went to the hospital and found out I had the flu and bronchitis (obviously I didn't feel good) I got my prescriptions and went to CVS (been going to CVS for years) dropped them off and said I would wait and told them because I was contagious I didn't want to go inside and get other people sick and I would wait in the car, she informed me it would be 30 minutes, instead of going home I waited, 30 painful minutes go by and I pull up to pick it up she informed me it would be another 15 minutes okay, time goes by and then I pull back around sorry we just got the one medication in and will be longer.. It's been a hour! I was better off going home and having someone else pick it up. They could have called and let me know it would be a hour, nothing not even an apology! Don't go here!! read more

Popped in real quick to buy some ribbons for gifts. The store was empty and the cashier was taking her time because some other customer had to go back several times to get what he was looking for. After several minutes, a rushed manager opened another register to cash us out. Nice employees and store was organized. I dropped a prescription off at 9:22am and was told it would be about an hour. I went bacK at 11:55am and was told that it would be about 20 minutes???? It seriously takes over 2 hours to fill a prescription for antibiotics that's only 12 pills?! The people in this pharmacy are completely incompetent! I have monthly prescriptions that are suppose to be filled the same day every month. It used to be the 15th of the month but they screw up every month and now actually pick up on the 29th! They screw up every time! TheY tell me I HAVE TO CALL IN THR PRESCRIPTION! I'm not a frickin Dr why the hell do I need to call it I in! Every time I call they can never find the prescription either! They shouldn't even have a license! Store is nice but pharmacy staff lack any kind of personality. The voice on the automated system has more inflection than the staff do. Also some of the girls are just downright curt with me everytime I call or go in.
