It is one of the two locations located at the Arizona State University Tempe Campus. Every now and then, when I need something on the way home from work or to work, I will stop by here out of convenience. I have interacted with the staff, purchased various products, and browsed the shelves for other items over the years. The store is sometimes a bit messy and sometimes very clean. It really depends on the day I stop by. For the most part, the store is easy to navigate. The staff is very friendly and helpful though sometimes it is difficult to find the staff in the store as the front of the store can be considered the back of the store, and the back of the store can be considered the front of the store due to registers on both sides. They also have products like ASU spirit items and clothing, which you won't find at all CVS stores. I have rarely ever waited to check out at this store. I encourage everyone to sign up for ExtraCare, which is a free membership and includes sales prices, deals for you, 2% back in ExtraBucks rewards, a $3 birthday reward, and up to $50 in ExtraBucks rewards at the pharmacy. Then, for $60 per year ($5 per month), you can purchase membership in the ExtraCare+ program, which includes $10 in ExtraBucks rewards per month, free same-day delivery, free shipping, free same-day Rx delivery, 20% off CVS Health brand products, and 24/7 pharmacist help line. Occasionally, there is a $48 discounted annual rate for ExtraCare+ or another promotion. I have heavily used the ExtraCare+ program over the past many years. Also, while the Black Friday CVS deals were incredible a number of years ago, now you can only get good deals but not incredible deals with free items. While I'm a huge fan of CVS in general and the ExtraCare+ program, the stores are hit or miss. I will gladly still come back to this store as need be in the future as it is certainly convenient, and I can get what I need here.

I can understand exercising conscientious objection if you work at a private practice but the CVS Minute Clinic is not that. There was not another provider on staff who could administer Depo for me. Asserting her religious objection to fulfilling her professional obligation negatively impacted my health and access to care. As a medical provider, it is her duty to do no harm yet her refusal to administer Depo caused harm. Medical providers have a responsibility to respect patient autonomy. I have no qualms with her personal beliefs but allowing her beliefs to interfere with her professional duties, as a CVS employee, limits access to care. She should find alternative employment as she expected me to find alternative care.

They will text me that my order will be ready by a certain day and time, and EVERY SINGLE TIME it is never ready when I arrive even hours after was promised to have been filled. Some of the staff are not professional and are argumentative. I have to tell them every month, DO NOT CALL OR TEXT ME REFILL REMINDERS! I ONLY want notifications WHEN MEDICATION IS READY FOR PICKUP! They will remove me from their little cold call list, but then the next month I am put right back on their calling list! I have advised them numerous times, I am on a doctor approved alternate schedule than how my script is written, and today one of the reps tried to tell me that they "have to follow-up PER MY INSURANCE for compliance reasons" This is a bold face lie! I have spoken to both my insurance company AND doctor, and Walgreens is NOT in charge of my dosing schedule, that is between my doctor and I alone, my doctor has the right to prescribe off label and/or change my dosage at anytime, and my insurance does not get involved nor should Walgreens be involved in the matter. The kicker is, this particular medication the Walgreens rep lied to me about and said she had to call me for "insurance compliance reasons", isn't even a medication that has EVER been covered by my insurance! LOL. I have to pay out of pocket for this one, my insurance has ZERO to do with it, and I also haven't taken this medication in months, because I switched over to a similar product instead. So just a straight up LIE from this Walgreens Pharmacy "tech" . They should not be making unverified, nor especially UNTRUE statements to customers.. Unless you absolutely must, save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at ALL costs!

Although they were out of stock, they explained that their usual supplier no longer carries the product and offered to order it from a new provider. That level of effort and transparency was exactly what I needed. Because of this, I've transferred all my prescriptions to the E McDowell location. They even call to notify you if a prescription will be delayed--something the previous location never did. Their professionalism and customer care are a breath of fresh air. Basic conversation (not to mention customer service) etiquette suggests she could have moved a foot over to make eye contact and make it obvious she was trying to speak to me. Other CVS locations around the country will lower the partitions when it's close to their lunch time. Not here. Instead, student pharmacist just barked to other customers "we're closed!" With no explanation. Obviously we all get that you deserve (legally and as humans!) a lunch break. But you don't have to be blatantly rude. I arrived 1:25. Student pharmacist retorted with attitude "no, you got here 1 minute before lunch time". Um... no I didn't. You were wrong. You made me wait for the pharmacist to fix YOUR error, not to mention why in 4 days have you not filled a Rx that was ready for refill, which I can't confirm when you don't answer the phone 12 times over 4 days.
