This review is for Carmen at the bakery. I want to thank you for your amazing customer service and for making the cutest cakes for my daughter's first birthday! Everyone loved them and they tasted as good as they looked. Thank you so much!

Turkey, bacon sandwich! Could've been good but the bread was so stale, Hard!!

Being a Chicago Native where there are several of these stores. I stop in "here and there" on my lunch break. Customer service is hit and miss. They talk to me as if I'm lost. I usually buy Hot food to go, But today I ordered what seemed to be a turkey bacon on jalapeno bagel. No bagels, gave me a couple of bread options, only to get the most stale marble bread they had. I can't help but LOL! Do better and treat people how you want to be treated

Great little store off Main Street in Verrado. Has everything you need from a grocery store. We've stopped by on the way home after having dinner at one of our fave restaurants across the street. It's accessible and everyone you meet is so friendly. The other day I stopped by to grab some pastries while waiting for my daughter to finish her after school club in Verrado and it worked out. They seem to have expanded on all their options. I like that they are just a few blocks away from my kids school. The pastries were yummy too. Oh, almost forgot, after dinner on Main Street, we take the kids to this location for ice cream cones. They actually have a mini shop you can pick your flavor and single cones to go.

Very welcoming, good prices and the pizza is the best in the neighborhood. The staff is always polite and it's clean.

The meat department hands down is the best around. Great service and will customize your cuts if you ask for no extra fee

Convenient, reasonable prices and nice people, that's a five star review for any business. We recommend this store to everyone.

OK to shop in a pinch for the "usual" items. Otherwise selection is limited and prices are high. I view it as a glorified convenience store.

Store Environment Most of the employees seem completely miserable, and several have even told me they can't keep staff. That tracks, because the store is frequently low on stock, especially in basic areas. I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue, delivery delays, or just poor management--but it's noticeable. Deli Chicken = Buckeye's Best That said, I've gotta give props to their fried chicken at the deli--it's hands down the best in Buckeye ever since the Love's gas station on Miller stopped serving it. That said, it's hit or miss. Some days you'll get someone awesome who's on top of it; other days, they stop serving 30 minutes early and act like you're bothering them by asking. Still, when it's fresh and hot--it's really good. Checkout Nightmare The biggest frustration by far is checkout. There are never enough cashiers, and even the self-checkout has long lines, especially in the evenings. It's exhausting when you're trying to just grab groceries and get home in time to cook dinner. I know I'm not alone--this is probably everyone's #1 complaint. Hope on the Horizon There's a new Fry's location opening soon on Miller, and everyone in Buckeye is praying it'll help alleviate the traffic and chaos at this Watson location.

I stood outside for 10 minutes hoping a kind soul would give me a stupid quarter for their carts. I don't carry cash nor a bunch of loose change in my purse. I was preparing to do a big shopping trip. Instead I was completely turned off by the process of something that should be simple -- having something to hold your groceries in. Finally I coerced some poor child who was bringing their cart back to give me their cart and not lock it back up. So stupid. At checkout, I drag the few items I decided to purchase to the cashier and wouldn't you know it....no bags of any kind. What in the world is this place? Needless to say I won't be going back until you act like other stores because the lack of convenience ain't worth it for me. I realize Aldi thinks they are saving money somehow by locking up their carts. But I think the offset of losing customers that don't want to deal with inconvenient things should be considered.

It's never enjoyable! Today was another interesting day at this abysmal store. Not enough checkers , as usual , so I went to self checkout, sign says 15 items, I had 18! The lines at the registers were so long I decided to go ahead and self checkout even though I had 3 extra items. This is no joke, the woman working in the self checkout area came over a started gossiping about me with another customer and complained to him about how people don't read the signs! I turned to her and said, "I have a few extra items , like 3 but you don't have enough checkers " and she starts arguing with me. There were only a few people using the self checkout so the guy behind me had no problem finding a place to check out and I didn't hold up the line in any way. This is not how employees should be talking to customers, ever! They would have no job without customers. This has happened before at this location when a manager came running over and scolded me for putting my items on the conveyor belt when the register was frozen! How would I know that? I guess employees are just as miserable as the shopping experience is for customers. Stay away! There are so many grocery stores options in Surprise, just to name a few we have Trader Joe's, Costco, Aldi, Fry's, Safeway, Sprouts, Albertsons, and we are soon getting a Whole Foods . With so many options I will say no thanks to Winco. The prices are not even that low anymore.

A woman at the farm attempted to aggressively gaslight me, screamed over me while I was trying to speak, refused to issue a refund for services not rendered, and arbitrarily canceled my active subscription without my consent. To top it off, right before hanging up on me, I heard her laughing to her coworker in the background saying, "I'm not talking to her!" That tells you everything you need to know about the maturity level and character of the trashy people running this place. I am officially reporting this business to the BBB and filing a chargeback with my bank. If you are considering subscribing to this CSA, save yourself the money, the headache, and the wasted gas. *********************************************************** If you are considering subscribing to this CSA, save yourself the money, the headache, and the wasted gas. Blue Sky Organic Farms loves to lean into the warm, fuzzy narrative of "local farm" and "community-supported agriculture," but their actual operation is a complete joke. What good is supporting local if the Folx running it don't actually know how to be in community? Over the course of trying to get basic information regarding my weekly pickup, I reached out through every single channel provided: the designated CSA line, the farm store number, Instagram, and even their restaurant/wholesale line (which, embarrassingly, is a dead line). Not a single person answered. To make matters worse, when messages did go through, I was repeatedly left on read. A few weeks ago, I had to waste an hour of my day driving 40 minutes out of my way to the physical store just to get basic questions answered because their customer service department is utterly non-existent (a fact that even their own front-desk worker acknowledged with total confusion and annoyance). Taking people's money and then stonewalling them when they ask simple, necessary questions about the service they paid for is negligent, amateurish, and fundamentally disrespectful. They should be thoroughly ashamed of how makeshift, disorganized, and dismissive this entire operation is. Do not fall for the "support local" marketing--these people do not care about community, and they certainly don't care about their customers. Go to WINCO!
