I happened to be in the area of BCE and it just so happened that I also had a few graded cards that I was hoping to trade or sell in my car so I stopped in. This place is awesome! It's a huge space! They have a very cool, extensive collection of junk wax packs for sale. They also have an enormous amount of single cards from all eras of every major sport. I was able to trade my cards for a high value vintage card that I had on my list for a long time and the exchange was so incredibly easy and the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. bought an "unopened" "factory sealed" box of 1986 Topps. was NOT factory sealed and looks to be sifted thru re-glued packs. Fraud already. out of 36 packs. ALL were Duds. If you want to feel robbed and open dud packs that have that fraudulent feel. This is the place for you. baseball is Americas sport. I came here for GI Joe cards and got them for a steal. Only $3.5 million for 6 boxes. They even threw it in a Pokemon box for me!

Went for the Jose Canseco signing yesterday. It was a decent turnout. They were a little tense with all the people in the store. We arrived around 12:30 so he was almost finished with most of the public. Canseco was an awesome guest. He even allowed me to snap a pic with him. I appreciated the hologram COA's they provided with each item, nice touch. I bought 2 boxes of 2008 Heritage (tough to find) and they were at a great price. Love the layout of the store. Nice selection of autographs. The wax is the best inventory I've ever seen. Reasonably priced, in some cases better than online. I'll be back to this store. A great place for sports memorabilia without having to trek to the northern suburbs. They have tons of autographed merchandise for sale, balls, jerseys, photos, cards, And not just baseball, they have representation from all major American sports. They also do autograph signings in their shop. I have done this twice (once for Paul Konerko and once for Andrew Shaw). You check-in and get a number, then they call chunks of numbers to the back warehouse where the line forms. They try really hard to be organized. Ultimately it's really not. There is very little communication between those in charge, those waiting in the store, and those waiting outside. Both times it has been weird confusion followed by echoes of "oh crap what number are they on?!" They would really benefit from a P.A. system and some walkie talkies. Oh and if any employee could wander the floor for explanation and assistance that would be awesome too. Singings organization aside, I do like this shop, and I'm happy they are able to get the big names out to NWI. read more

I've bought a few boxes of stuff here. Stuffs a little overpriced especially considering they're sending people to buy out retail stores and reselling it at 4x the price. I was in the shop and the same guy I see standing at the card section at every retail store walks in with Panini Prizm football and sells the sealed box for $350. Shops doing this ruin anyone else from buying an affordable product. All their sealed wax is overpriced. read more

BBC Exchange has been in business a long time and is the standard for buying vintage unopened packs. I bought an 84 Donruss wax pack and there was a Rickey Henderson clearly visible through the wax on the back. That's proof enough to me that they are reputable, not like those who cherry pick the packs they sell. The packs I ordered came quickly and packaged securely and properly with ample styrofoam peanuts. I have since ordered more packs and will again. It's nice being able to get the cards that I didn't get back in the 80s. read more

Awesome public signings! I went to the Bobby Hull and Jose Canseco signings. Really looking forward to Andrew Shaw. Very well organized and reasonably priced. They also allowed us to snap a picture with each celeb! And a business that has Jim Cornelison singing the national anthem at their grand opening is beyond amazing! This is probably the only place I'll buy my dad presents from for now on! read more
