Wow. If I could give 0 stars I would. I scheduled an appointment and missed it due to being sick, and was told my value was completely gone. The manager absolutely degraded me over the phone and treated me horribly even though I had a valid reason and didn't even want a refund -- and never even offered. I just wanted credit to come back as I have spent thousands of dollars here. My loyalty went completely down the drain and I feel disrespected and hurt. It's been a few months since my last visit with Chelsea and I am still so pleased and impressed with how it's grown out. Chelsea is a wizard when it comes to blending my roots with my dyed hair where I'm not at all embarrassed to walk around with my hair a little overgrown. Both times I've gone I've done a lob, both times turned out beautifully. The first time I went they fixed my roots situation and kept my hair a healthy cool-tone blonde. My second visit was the fun one where I got to dye my hair grey/silver. In the 3 years of trying for that perfect color, only Base has been able to get it down pat! Love love LOVE Base Salon. The space is really nice and new, and has such a fun vibe to it. The owner does a great job of making sure the atmosphere is laid back, (offers wine / water during your service, has a great pandora station on all the time) while the quality of their work is top notch! I use Krysta as my hair stylist (who happens to be the owner) and I've ever walked out with a haircut I don't love. When I started seeing Krysta, , I complained that my hair never grew past a certain length, and she put me on a routine schedule for haircuts and nearly 2 years later and my hair looks so much better! My friends say my hair always looks like a fresh cut (even weeks after my actual cut!) Would definitely recommend everyone and anyone to visit base salon! I had my second great haircut from Krysta yesterday. She spent time with me during our first session to understand what I was looking for as well as helping me understand my hair "challenges" and what I can do about it. I was given a recommendation from a friend for this salon which is blocks from my home. I called to make an appt, they scheduled it and then informed they needed a card on file for cancellations. I told them I am not comfortable with my card being on file at a salon I've never been to as doing this at other places in the past has resulted in my cc # being stolen 4 times in 1 year. I offered to just pay for my service in full prior to the service but I do not authorize them to keep the # on file. She told me if I wanted to pay for the service in full I had to come in because now that I said this they cannot trust that I am not giving stolen cc info, RUDE....Ok so you will hold my cc info to charge if I no show but you won't charge me for the same amount via phone for the service?
