Nothing special, nothing super, but it's not meant to be either; just some decent food with an Italian/American edge to it at a within budget price. Had a good plate of Calamari and meat lasagna, with both being simple, filling, but tasty and satisfying. The help staff is more than just warm, friendly and the place has a pleasant no rush, enjoy atmosphere about it.

Went over and picked up 2 medium pizzas for lunch.. Staff is really friendly and the pizzas were ready on time. Something I found weird was that the restaurant was pretty much empty and it was lunch time. I did notice a few other people picking up food so maybe it's more of a takeout spot. I thought the pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious and so was the cheese. The crust was baked to a perfect golden brown very crispy. Lunch specials seem a bit steep and price, and I think that $2 for a Coke can is a little bit on the outrageous side but the food was really good.

This is the first restaurant we hit when we flew in and it was such a waste of time. Paid for an hour at the parking meter, went inside, and waited about 10 minutes for somebody to come out of the kitchen to acknowledge us. And a lady came out and took our order who seemed pretty nice and made some small talk. We waited and waited and then she came out and said 3 more minutes on the pizza, it is almost ready to come out of the oven. In about 10 minutes she came back out and said I'm sorry there is no pizza dough. There must be some major miscommunication here because I don't know how it was ready to come out of the oven then all the sudden there's no pizza dough. At this point my time ran out on the parking leader so I had to add 30 more minutes. People were coming in for their order and also delivery drivers and she was telling everybody 45 minutes longer because they're out of pizza dough. She brought us some free garlic rolls and had us reorder pasta. We got lasagna and fettuccine. The fettuccine was really not edible. The noodles were not fully cooked and the sauce was milk so it had no taste. My son did not eat the lasagna. She did comp us for one meal but we didn't eat either one.

I want someone to tell me how this place is in business serving this TRASH! Pink undercooked and complete inedible RUBBER chicken and water Alfredo sauce. Of course I ordered with Uber eats so I can forget about a refund. I'll just sit here and starve while I type this. I would love to see someone that runs this dive attempt to eat this chicken they serve their customers.

Ordered the lasagna tray for a work lunch. It was delicious. However a little disappointed the lasagna noodle on certain areas was undercooked, hard and crispy. :-( Besides that everyone loved it and the price was good.

I ordered food for delivery and I was happy but have a LOT of fat in their food... too heavy, that's so sad.

Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.

We choose the indoor seating this time around, but I think I prefer the outdoor seating. Indoors was lovely. It was dark, sexy, no bugs, and the perfect temperature. We ordered: Faust wine 5/5 All the usual free apps 5/5 Grilled Octopus 5/5 Spicy Rigatoni 5/5 Veal Parmesan 5/5 The service was great! They had amazing team work to provide the perfect high class dinning for guest. I never had to think about water being refilled, wine glass being refilled, or crumbs on the table. They checked in with us just enough. Price: If you have drinks, apps, entree, and dessert expect to spend around $300 or more. Portions: Not the largest portions for "family size" but if it's just two it may be filling enough because they give you bread, cheese, cured meats, and pickled cauliflower for the appetizers. Overall, this is one of our favorite spots and it's truly worth the hype. For it being F1 weekend it was not as hectic as expected.

I had high expectations for Carbone, especially given its reputation, but unfortunately, my…read moreexperience left me feeling disappointed. THE FOOD The food itself wasn't the problem- the value was. Charging nearly $200 for a 2.5-pound lobster and serving what appeared to be no more than 10 ounces of meat is unacceptable. I've ordered lobster countless times, and this was nowhere close to what should come from a lobster of that size. It honestly felt like a bait-and-switch. At Carbone's prices and reputation, I expected transparency and quality, not to leave wondering if I had just paid hundreds of dollars for an empty shell. It completely overshadowed the rest of the meal and left a terrible impression. THE SERVICE Our wait staff was excellent- friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. When I raised my concern about the lobster, however, there wasn't a meaningful solution offered. The manager did bring out complimentary meatballs and two slices of cake, which was appreciated, but it didn't address the actual issue. I requested the veal entrée (about $125) as a gesture of goodwill, but that request was denied. I left feeling that my concerns were acknowledged but not truly resolved. THE VIBE The ambiance is everything you'd expect from Carbone- stylish, energetic, and full of old-school charm. It's a beautiful restaurant with a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for a special occasion. Ultimately, the atmosphere and attentive wait staff weren't enough to make up for what felt like poor value and an unsatisfactory resolution to a legitimate concern. At this level of dining, guests should leave feeling impressed--not questioning whether they received what they paid for. Our total bill was close to $1000. UNACCEPTABLE.

Very disappointing experience…read more I ordered the seafood pasta, priced at $34, and was shocked by how small the portion was. The dish felt more like an appetizer than an entrée. For the price, the value was simply not there. The tiny table made the experience even worse, leaving almost no room for plates, drinks, or personal items. Instead of enjoying the meal, I felt cramped and uncomfortable the entire time. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. Charging premium prices while serving such small portions is embarrassing. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. Shame on them!!!! Please don't go.

We tried the veal meatballs and fried calamari with artichoke. The veal meatballs did not hold together and were mushy. There were two tiny meatballs for $12. Also, the portions were ridiculously tiny for the price you paid. Not a good value and neither dish was memorable. I'm very sorry that I forgot to take pictures of the dishes. On a positive note the service was top notch. Our bartender was professional and friendly.
