I went in for a classic French tip with oval-shaped nails. The service was good and they were sweet (the woman did my toes and Andrew did my nails). But when I got home, I noticed my nails had air bubbles in them. So, I called and came back in 2 days later. The woman that works there told me she couldn't see the bubbles and when I showed her a picture of them (second pic below) that I had taken right after the appointment, she said it was AI?? I asked her to either take them off and refund them or just to redo them. They refused to redo them and said they would take them off and refund them, so I agreed. They only clipped them? Both refused to soak my nails off because it would've been an extra charge. I had high hopes based on reviews and they were sweet and respectful during the appointment. I would have been a recurring customer if they had just fixed the problem. EDIT: I forgot to mention this at first. They tried to refund me $65 for the nails (still paid $45 for the pedicure) and instead of refunding it, they charged the card. I had to wait in the salon for 45 minutes for a $130 refund. $65 for the nails and $65 for the charge. Insane experience. read more

I have very mixed feeling about my nails after my very first visit. The technician was rather sloppy with her work. The shape of my nails definitely all over the place. The application of gel polish is too bulky. Another part that made me not enjoy the visit was how painful it was. She polished my nails too many times and my cuticles are in pain. Even had small bleeding. Yes, I understand that not everything can be perfect, but I do this she needs work on her technique. I tipped at the end if it all, I know she tried her best. I had almost given up on getting my nails done. After trying a couple of nail salons in the area, I generally left feeling like I was contributing to some kind of slave labor. The technicians seemed very unhappy. My daughter was in town and I decided to try one more time. I am so glad I did. I don't know for sure, but this seems to be a family business. Everyone in the salon was very friendly, engaging the customers and each other. We both got a great manicure. The storefront is a little unremarkable so don't let that stop you! My friend suggested Bartow Nails, and I am glad she did! The inside is so clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I chose to get gel nails and there were many, many colors to choose from. They also offer Solar, SNS, and regular polish. I love the "Antique Purple" shade I got and the nail technicians were wonderful. Great massage, attention to detail, and quality work. I felt so good after leaving and I got so many compliments on my manicure! The massage chairs were in great shape, clean, and relaxing. On top of it, they told me about the different nail products and the health of my nails. I was impressed with how clean the salon was and how they really took care of my nails during my pedicure. She really let me soak my feet in the warm water and the warm towels they put on your legs were perfect. I wish they had a loyalty card, but I will be back for a SNS manicure. read more

I made an appointment and they honored the appointment time and started working on my nails/toes as soon as I got there. One person did my nails while the other was doing my toes. Went in today for my first appointment at Bartow, the manager greeted me and was very attentive to what I wanted, a Chistmas Umbre with silver sparkles on my ring fingers. She suggested a red sparkle gel for my toes. The gentleman that did my pedicure gave me an awesome leg massage and my toes look great. The gentleman that did my nails is a true nail artist. They use the newest products that are more health for your nails and me. My husband experienced a wonderful neck massage after his manicure. He was in 7th heaven. After being in Cartersville getting another service done. I needed to get my nails and toes done before flying out on vacation. I have been going to the same salon for years but with poor customer service and work it was time to search for somewhere new. I made a quick yelp search and it led me to Andrew and Kathy. Mediocre at best... I came into the salon at 6:30 PM and asked if they had time to do SNS and a pedicure and was told they did... One lady was working on my pedicure and a gentleman was working on removing the SNS at that same time... there was about 2 to 3 minutes of massage to each leg and then the polish was done... Then I was asked to move over to a table so the SNS Could be finished off...He very hurriedly completed this...I left there with mediocre looking nails... So my friends stumbled across a gem here in Cartersville. The staff is warm and friendly and very knowledgeable took my ideas and worked around my life style put extra effort in asking me if I worked with my hands alot and suggested a shorter length for me. Never going there again I had just moved here and was looking for a new nail salon. The first day I went was great - got the mani pedi deluxe and paid 5 dollars extra for French manicure/ pedicure. I was the only customer so a man gave me pedicure and a lady gave me a manicure at the same time, I thought I found my new salon until the following day , paint had chipped off 2 fingers - I went back to ask for it to be fixed - they owner was there and was extremely mean to me , kept showing me the price guide and telling me combo deluxe =$40.00 and $30.00 was pedicure, only $10.00 was mani. I told her how she divides her combos is not my concern as a customer. She wanted to argue so I left. She had no customer service experience. read more

Today was my first time at this salon. I came on a Saturday at 12:30, they appeared to be very busy. They told me it was going to be a 3 hour wait and encouraged me to make an appointment for 330pm later in the day. I said ok; it's understandable for them to be this busy - it's Saturday. If this is supposed to be the best in the city, I'll wait. I come back promptly at 330. I wasn't in the chair to be serviced until 430. No big deal, I wasn't in a hurry. Then the lady (only lady in the shop) proceeds to soak off my nails, to prepare them for the French ombre I requested. She showed me a picture to verify that's what I wanted, and I confirmed. Once she removed the old product, the older gentleman proceeded to do my nails. He puts on the white layer, a little heavy in my opinion but he's the professional right? Then he proceeds with the pink layer, not as heavy. My personal preference is to have more pink than white, so I let him know to add more, he agrees. Then as the acrylic dries, he proceeds to file, filing so much that he digs into my pinky with the nail file and I begin to bleed. I'm shocked as it has been years since I've bled from filing my nails. He reaches for glue to stop the bleeding, I shake my head no, so he applies antiseptic to it. At this point, I'm thoroughly disappointed in my first experience. The bleeding coupled with the fact that I had to coach him with shaping and cleaning the excess product from under my nails was undesirable. My nails look "ok" for the amount I paid, and I still tipped because the lady did a great job with removal. But this experience won't encourage me to return or recommend this place to anyone else (I don't care how impressive their ig or fb pics are)...clearly everyone has a different experience (see previous reviews) and I'm sad this couldn't be my new favorite place, oh well read more
