They charged me an extra $15 for the polish! Since when is there an extra charge for polish?? I expected to spend $75 + tip. I paid $105 without tip. If any one who works there is reading this I would have tipped more if I didn't feel so conned by y'all. Adding secret extra charges is so shady. For that reason I will never come back here.

After trying the phone number about 11 times to Town Center NAILS and getting a "cannot connect"…read moremessage, I was forced to look for a new salon. Santorini Nail Lounge was a delightful surprise. First of all, it is bright, clean and elegant without being over the top. I was very comfortable. Everyone was polite and efficient. I was there for a pedicure and Maya was my technician. She was very good and I was happy with the outcome. She was understanding of my request to not use pure acetone at all. I brought my own polish and polish remover. The basic pedicure was $30. Services have inflated quite a bit over the years but I think that they are in line with the current economy. I highly recommend this place.

That said, they have gotten their act together and hired better technicians who care about what they are doing. It is a tad on the pricey side, but that is potentially due to the new fancy chairs, tvs, etc. It's almost always at least 1/2 full, often 3/4 and it's a large place.

My experience was very disappointing. The same person who was working at the front desk was also…read morethe one doing my nails. She didn't even have her own workstation or cart with the necessary tools and kept taking instruments from her coworker's cart throughout the appointment. On top of that, she repeatedly got up to answer the phone and assist customers who walked into the salon, interrupting my service several times. It felt very unprofessional and made it clear that she was unable to focus on providing proper care. As a result of all these interruptions, she cut one of my fingers during the service. To make matters worse, the nail polish was left streaky and dripping, with a very poor-quality finish. I expected a safe, professional service, but instead I left with an injured finger and poorly done nails. I hope the salon improves its organization and ensures that employees are able to focus on one responsibility at a time so customers receive the quality and attention they deserve.

But when I got home, I noticed my nails had air bubbles in them. So, I called and came back in 2 days later. The woman that works there told me she couldn't see the bubbles and when I showed her a picture of them (second pic below) that I had taken right after the appointment, she said it was AI?? I asked her to either take them off and refund them or just to redo them. They refused to redo them and said they would take them off and refund them, so I agreed. They only clipped them? Both refused to soak my nails off because it would've been an extra charge. I had high hopes based on reviews and they were sweet and respectful during the appointment. I would have been a recurring customer if they had just fixed the problem. EDIT: I forgot to mention this at first. They tried to refund me $65 for the nails (still paid $45 for the pedicure) and instead of refunding it, they charged the card. I had to wait in the salon for 45 minutes for a $130 refund. $65 for the nails and $65 for the charge. Insane experience.
