my cuticles weren't cut so it made my nails look weird also the guy filed my nails down way too much and as for my toes and hands they had acrylic on the outside just a bit nothing you could really notice from afar but it's still something i wouldn't want happening when i'm paying $150 to get my nails done but besides that the people were nice the environment was nice read more

Been here a couple times now for nails, pedicure and waxing. Place is clean. Everyone is friendly. They are fast and efficient. Nails are done great. Plenty of color selection. Wish they would do pink and white acrylics. I ask they say they do but then when I try to get them they say no and want to push the painted on French which is not what I want. read more

Came here yesterday for the first time. I found them through Google and they had very high reviews so figured I'd give them a try since they're very close to my house. Very happy with the results with Lily. She was quick and precise with my SNS fill-in and was very friendly. Ive never made it a part of my routine to get my nails done, but I've gone to Emmy nails 3 times now with a friend. I've never booked an appointment, and I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes. I tried gel nails the first time, and I was pleased with the service and color. I tried the sms nails the second visit. The SMS nails are not my cup of tea. I don't like how thick they feel. The third visit I went back for gel nails. My one complaint is how long it took. I went in, and I was the only one there on a Tuesday around noon. It took almost 2 hrs. Overall, I recommend, but plan for more than an hour. read more

I came in regularly and used to love this place. However, I just had the most absolute worst experience I've EVER had with any nail place. I had walked in asking for an acrylic set with gel polish w/ a french tip like design. The lady kept insisting I get sns, but with I had wanted I wasn't sure if that was possible. Halfway through the process she realized she couldn't create the design I wanted and tried using gel polish. I appreciated her efforts and what not, but the outcome was nothing like what I had wanted. You can see my nail bed. I was getting a pedicure and it was around 6:20 and I asked if I could come in the next day to get my nails fixed, because they did not look up to par. The lady and a man came and said that there was nothing more they can do and that they had spent an hour and a half on my nails (which looked awful). I told them I don't want to pay for something that isn't what I wanted. The lady stormed off mumbling under her breath about how I wasted her time. They chopped off my nails and banned me from getting my nails done. They still charged me for my toes. I wish I hadn't went to this place. I ended up going to cartersville and they perfected what I had originally wanted. read more

Fabulous manicure and gel polish. The friendly lady (one of the owners) was very detail oriented and the job was done to perfection! Unfortunately my pedicure was not as good. The scrub and rub was pleasant but the polish application was horrible...slightly messy and the polish on one toe actually cracked on my drive home. I will try again though. I went in for a pedicure and asked specifically for callus remover. It was the worst pedicure I have ever had. I told the owner that I wasn't paying for the extra $5 because my feet felt the same as when I came in. She felt my feet and said "feels fine to me". She did not offer to remove the callus or rectify the situation and acted nonchalantly about it. I told her I would pay for the service, but I would not be back! I guess as long as they are taking your hard earned money that's all that matters to them. They don't care about repeat customers or the fact I was spending $65 every two weeks getting my nails done. read more

My experience here was terrible. I paid almost twice what I normally pay to get SNS nails, because thats all they do here now, and they didn't even last half as long as regular acrylics. April did them and I had to have her redo them once because they weren't smooth. Then they started breaking off after just 4 days. they also have scratches all over them. I was under the impression that SNS was supposed to be more durable. I asked for a refund and they only gave me 50% back. 4 days is ridiculous. Example, no explanation that the color I choose, Moe's not for the service I had selected so you just started a service based on the color I had shows you have no idea what service I wanted was given no Direction. Heaven forbid you accidentally break a bottle of nail polish. They charge you $15 when you can go to the store and pay $5-7 for that same bottle of polish. They won't be getting my business or money anymore. read more

I have to say that I'm very disappointed in the service I received today. I paid $31 for a pedicure and an extra $17 for gel polish on my toes that bubbled up before I made it home. Even though I had an appointment, I was rushed from the time I walked through the door. I wasn't allowed time to select colors because I was being rushed to the pedicure chair. Also, the nail tech that did my SNS manicure was down right rude and argumentative. The nail on my right index finger was very obviously crooked and when I asked that it be fixed she got very defensive and stated it was because of the shape of my nail bed! What?! I have had my nails done for years and I assure you my nail bed was not the issue! After going back and forth with her, she finally added more SNS to the inside corner which helped to straighten the nail. She then argued with me when I asked that she top my SNS with a gel coat stating "we don't put gel on SNS because it peels off". I told her that I always get a top gel coat when I come to Emmy and it has never peeled and I wanted it done today. This was the only unpleasant experience I've had an Emmy in the two years that I've been going to their salon, but between the rude/argumentative nail tech and the botched gel polish on my pedicure I believe its time to take my business elsewhere. I came here for the first time, a friend had referred me, and sat and waited for over two hours to get my nails done. The place was not busy. Once I finally got them done, it was not what I had wanted. Deciding to give it a second chance, I went yesterday and I did not wait two hours, but I had three different people come and do some on my toes. Then while getting my nails done the lady was on her phone majority of the time. Once we were almost finished, a customer came in at about 6:45 and was told to come back tomorrow because they couldn't take any more customers... they closed at 8. There are top many nail places in Cartersville for this to happen. Needless to say, I will not be back. read more
